I Bought an S10 to LS Swap... 

Y’all need to understand this truck isn’t a main priority just yet, I’m just updating you on why I got it that way I don’t have to hide it in videos. I’m getting the Nova back together first, and working on Tommy’s s-10 too. The mustang is going to stay the way it is for the off season it’s perfectly fine how it is. When the nova is back together, Tommy’s truck has made significant progress then it’ll be time to build this S-10.

You all have so many projects moving front back and sideways it's incredible! So many platforms so many monsters what a crazy crazy 2023 this is going to be! Great pickup on the pick-up looking forward to seeing how this thing turns out! We're totally with you on the fast street car thing, obviously that's our kind of thing, hard to beat the smiles per gallon.

You made the right decision skipping Mega Cash Days. At first it sounded real appealing and exciting but like you said once you realize who they put in it in the end it is just a TV show. Definitely Dig or Die and Da Pad is as real as it gets!! Really looking forward to that content.

It is so fucking crazy to me how far you and your family have come. I started watching you guys damn from the beginning and to look back from then to now it's incredible!! Just peer dedication and hard work. You guys are truly so inspirational to so many people. Thank you for all the years of great content!

I have a 91 just like that with the 2.5 all stock. Bought it for my mom and only had 60xxx original miles. She gave it back to me the other day. That's going to be my project for several years hahaha it's so straight and clean I want to do it right

Like I said Now days it's hard to find a good engine builder that is willing to got that extra mile for you . And if you do have one take care of him and stick with him .

Man with the price of diesel I could not imagine paying out so much just for travel and lodging right now. I think this is the absolute best choice. Don't rile the old man up to far. That is one clean s10 love it. I've been watching since the beginning. You would be amazed at how many you all have inspired over the years. PS I'm one of them. I think project 6.0SS is going nitrous seems to be the street thing to do now. Crack a barrel with that 421 is gonna be a challenge to beat that. I really like the whole daily driver class thing hopefully it keeps expanding. Slowing down to do it right is a great thing. 2 ready to go for 23 definitely gonna be handing out plenty of GAPS!!!!

it would have been nice seeing you guys compete in mega cash days but if what you have heard is right, and they basically 'race prep' the road. It's not worth taking 2 brand new engines and pushing them further than you should trying to compete with promods, Great content guys!!

Hey that’s me! One thing I’m learning with all of this is I can’t people please. I have to do what is best for David, me, and our fams. Right now, working my butt off to make sure I’m ready for 2023 is my priority. Ya, the videos haven’t been getting pumped out but they will be. When I first saw the thumbnail pic I thought it was the S10 that was just at lucore for bumpsteer kit and alignment but then I saw that the hood wasn't cut out for the turbo. I had a 93 s10 with a 4.3 n 5 speed. It was same color as tiggers. Fun lil trucks. Can't wait to see it come together.

Texas speed stage 4 f35 kit and arp main,rod, and head studs! Circle D converter,and long tube headers! Gap rings accordingly. Should be close to 600 @ flywheel N/A. No need to really touch the head ports maybe bring cc down some to raise compression for the spray! Gonna be a beast! Will run outta Ole pop's life lol!!

Nice Truck! No hate, just some food for thought to those inspired by this project: It’s unlikely a 4L80e will “rob” more power than a 400/gear vendors combo. That’s one of those things that just get repeated over and over for some reason and people believe it. Like you can’t put a 750 on a 302. The benefits of overdrive and lockup far outweigh the maybe 1% difference in drivetrain losses for a car that see a lot of street miles. 80e’s can handle a lot of power with some simple internal mods. There are also several trans brake options. Also in regards to the engine, by the time someone buys an aluminum intake, carb, msd box and a wideband sensor setup, they’d be really close to a Holley terminator X max. Then you can use the super cheap stock truck intake and throttle body while having much better tuning control, nitrous control, auto trans control and a display that lets you see all the vital engine info with having to buy individual gauges. Just my 2 cents. Can’t wait to see how fast this thing is!

Your good bro. Ran 2 kits on my 6.2 for many many many hard miles. 200 main kit and a 100 second kit. Didn’t always spray the second kit. Went from a throttle body wet plate and then bought the direct bend your own lines with blocks, solenoids, tapped my mid rise aluminum intake with an NOS mini controller and what a difference!!!! Cylinder 7 and 8 run hot and leaner on throttle wet plate. Direct wet injection is the way to go for only 400-700$ more if you or Rob bend the lines and tap an aluminum intake, so a cheap aluminum intake is another 200-600$. LNC box to retard timing and launch control. Easy fast set up. Stock bottom end with the exception of replacing bearings with King bearings, that’s it. Full roller up top, spun it to 7000-7100 for awhile.

Not gonna lie, I was really looking forward to seeing you guys out there at the Mega Cash Days. I've heard a few of the guys that have been invited and I bet I'm not the only one that wanted to see you guys knock out some of those "Big Hitters". As far as your guys reasons for not going I definitely understand. I saw a video from Ryan's wife "KC Maxx". She was saying that alot of the cars that are gonna be there are usually big tire and the fact that alot of them haven't been on a small tire is also definitely gonna make things very dangerous. So maybe not going might be for the better. Whatever you guys decide to do, you can bet that I'll still be there to watch and support. Billy speaking facts, Mega "cash days" is basically a track race at this point.

I know there’s probably a lot of folks that will have input with regards of how to put the LS you have planned for the new S10 together, BUT the three tips I’d recommend is use all the PTV clearance you comfortably have (on the exhaust side) to run a nitrous-specific-cam, AND there’s a lot of good LS3 intake manifolds out there, but some of the best (ex: new Holley split manifold) may require cutting the hood or ditching the hood.....these two things won’t help N/A power much (may actually hurt it some) but allow it to process more nitrous / evenly / safely......beyond that your tuning may be simplified / accomplished in a more cost effective way by adding a front drive distributor (check out: Race Tools Direct)......I’m sure others will chime in as the build kicks off 👍

I have watched this channel from way back. The while family of youtube channels are at the top of my list. OMG. SRC. G2G. Uncle bucko and Jefafa would be a great addition. Alison has came so far. Her knowledge has exploded about her own car. The fact she helps and gets her hands dirty on her own car, reminds me of my own daughter working on her own car. And I still see Mom racing her truck in the near future.

You guys made the right choice, no need to put it together quickly and then have issues down the line due to things you missed because you rushed rush it. What matters is putting it together properly and having it last like the falcon, you guys have beat that thing to hell and it held up amazing. That new S10 looks great, according to LS buddies of mine the aluminum 6.2 is the way to go for a street/strip truck with nitrous. BTW what's up with that white supra in the background billy, what are you holding up on us? lol

Not rushing is the key. Rushing never works for anybody. I totally understand the “we could do it. We just don’t want to” I was in that same situation with my build. I could have rushed it and got it done a round earlier. But for what. Just to fight all the halfway done stuff for the next year. Nah. Not worth it. I’ve never seen someone rush job something and have good success.

if your going to build a "daily driver" type truck, do an 80e... dont listen to all the guys who talk about how much power they rob. yes they are a little heavier trans and eat a little power but they arent what everyone says they are when it comes to that. they are a great trans. build it right and with the right converter and you wont even notice the little bit of power your missing over the other trans options. and best part is you have overdrive for cruising. cant wait to see what you do with it!

cool choice. I would love to see you Learn Holley software. The fuel injection is really simpler than swapping jets and all that noise. How long does it take to change front and rear jets? Fuel injection takes 2 minutes. Spark and timing control to boot. Turbo? yes! NOS? YES! Holley does it all. Joe Simpson now offers a course to learn the software. Good luck in all you do.
