Mine is a 2009 cabrio with the n52 and it has been both fun to drive and reliable so far. In my mind, this is the last “real” BMW before they became bloated and 4 cylinder powered.
I just purchased a 2008 BMW 128i (E88) convertible for a great price. The car has plenty of power from inline 6 cylinder engine. Open-air driving experience is amazing! Great body style and nice interiors along with reliable engine makes it a classic BMW.
Hey man thanks for the video. I’m also interested in purchasing the same vehicle ( an auto) in Canada for 7500 but it has gasket valve issue be fixed. Do you think it’s worth it as a first time BMW owner?
If it is valve cover gasket, i think its worth it. They are not too difficult you can do it on your own at home. I did mine on my Z4. It took me about 3 hrs and $85 gasket from rockauto.
No i didn’t sell porsche to buy these two cars lol. I sold it because someone offered more money than I paid for. And these two cars were great deal at the time.
