The reason Shop Miss A can keep their prices at $1. is because their is no marketing or advertising. The product comes directly from the manufacturer. Anything over $1. i.e. 1.55 and 1.88. The amount over $1. goes to animal charity etc. I use almost the full line of their cosmetics. I never tried their mascara as I'm thrilled with mine at a low price point already. Anything that I don't like the color of, I give away to someone who can use it.

I just got a package from shopmiss a as well and it came wrapped up like yours. I find it interesting that a dollar store can package your dollar makeup to where it can't break. But Sephora can't get you a $65 foundation to your house without it being broken.

AOA Studio is ShopMissA's in house brand. Almost every product is part of a charity group. If it's over a dollar whatever the amount over a dollar is donated to that specific charity. I'm thinking it HAS to be the combination of the sponge and the primer because those foundation drops are AMAZING. I've been through 2 bottles. I have oily skin and the combination of the foundations drops and the AOA banana loose powder leaves me with the smoothest finish. I've been through 2 of the powders and I'm on my third.

i agree, AOA studio is the way to go. i bet the problem was the primer. i have not had the best luck with their primers, but i have heard the aqua or pore minimizing (in the blue/pink packaging) are good!

Manny I just wanna say thank you for allowing your nude prism palette to be in this months boxy charm. I wanted the palette so bad when it launched but I had just gotten into a bad car accident (early april) and I had to get a new car and get back to work but I literally screamed when I saw it in the box this month. It made my whole week.

AOA is definitely one of those brands where a lot of it is just fine, only a few things I would consider actually bad, but the things that are good are REALLY good.

I exclusively use the ALEXIS lashes from AOA. They're soft, beautiful, fluffy, and have a thin band (which I love). I buy them in the value 6-pack. I love them!

My favorite shop miss a product is the paw paw liquid concealer. It's perfect for my undereyes because it's more of a hydrating formula and has medium coverage. It is thick tho, so it's important to work in thin layers. I put a tiiiiny little dot on top of my peach color corrector and my undereyes look naturally concealed that way.

This was wonderful! I'm intrigued by Shop Miss A, although I find when I order they sometimes screw it up and send some wrong items. I love those foundation drops. They're like L'Oreal's foundation serum. I like them to adjust the color of other foundations, and I have a ton of different shades. thanks so much for this, Manny! I adore ya!

The pot liners/shadows are great but that 1st shade you used was dried out. They're known for drying out. I keep mine super sealed & then seal them inside a Ziploc lock bag with the air pushed out & it helps. And I'm pretty sure all 3 of your favs are only $1. The powder is shiny bc you got the soft lights one. The others are matte.

Love you & ShopMissA🤩!! The Velvet Lip in the shade Lana is also SOOO pretty and I agree they’re so soft and good. It’s really hit or miss with ShopMissA but for the price it’s worth trying a lot of their stuff.
