I'm passing on a tune, this car stock is so fast that if you add anymore HP it makes it less fun to drive on public streets. I get up to speed so fast and I can't get close to using all the power this car has legally on public streets. The more power you'll be only be getting on the brakes faster while voiding your warranty also. Unless you track the car I personally see no need to tune. Most people tuning these cars are all about "look at me" my car has 750 HP, it's silly imo.

Totally understand that. I’ve had similar thoughts. We’ll just see if this build stays mostly street or a track/street mix in the coming year or so. This will ultimate determine if I tune or not 🤘🏼

I'm rocking the stock grill on my 2023 G80CX. I love the grill and feel no need to rip off the front bumper to change out. Maybe at 41 years old I'm just old and don't feel the need to change everythong, lol. I did get the seatbacks like you from M performance, they make the interior if you don't get the buckets. Great spec btw, Enjoy!!

Totally get it! I’ve had mine for a year with stock grills. Everyone has their own preferences 👊🏼. Also, that’s awesome! Yeah these M Performance seat backs are absolutely amazing.

As mentioned in the video, I’m the second owner. Some guy spec’d this car then traded it in very shortly after. I bought it at that time with very low miles.

Hi, G82 comp owner here. Congrats on your purchase. I’m coming off of two F82’s that were making 730 whp and 611 whp, respectively. As a result, the stock G8X came across as slow for me, (but faster than stock F8X). As a result; FEMTO public is underway.

Thank you! Much appreciated 👊🏼 I actually don’t regret having bucket seats in this car. While I do love them on the G series, for me, I’m happy with the M sport seats as my E92 and possibly E46 coming soon will mostly have buckets and one will be a club sport build. So I needed at least car comfortable (to me) haha.

Just got mine 2 days ago. I came from a tuned tanzanite f80 and this car is superior in almost every way. My car is black sapphire metallic so the front grills blend in and it doesn’t bother me either. I’m grateful for my ccb because these wheels seem like a nightmare to keep clean. I’m 100% not going to tune this car but only because I have a newborn and don’t want something obnoxious. I like how subtle your mods are, very oem+ 👍🏻

Only 6,000 miles in 1 year. Barely driven😊. I also work from home and my i4 M50 has 11,000 miles after 7 months. I do have a 200 mile roundtrip office commute once (or on occasion twice) per week plus the usual family errands. The G80 is a Lovely machine and thanks for sharing.🙏🏽

As a g80x owner, only complain so far is the stiffer ride. Even in comfort

Interesting. Yeah it definitely is a more aggressive vehicle but comfort mode with factory EDC has seemed completely tolerable to me for daily driving. I have aftermarket suspension now (stiffer) but still usable. Definitely not for everyone I’m sure! 👊🏼

I went with Toronto Red non Carbon Buckets (not a good fit for me) and sunroof delete. Love the carbon roof 🥰.. Base M3 for the manual. Love the manual.

Glad you don’t regret it 💯🤘….. I was between m850i and g80 I ordered and got IOMG on KO interior g80 , cool fun fast car but man this is the most uncomfortable and road noisy car I’ve ever owned . Had for almost a year and have put only 2800 miles , most likely will be trading it in for m8 or 850i . Enjoy it

Yeah, any 8 series would definitely provide you with a more comfortable/luxurious ride and feel. The M3 is a rowdy car for sure! Just depends on what you need it for. Good thing is you’ll have zero issues selling or trading your G80 due to the high demand right now 👍🏼
