It's a very nice trade. The RS is light car for city use. Now the M3 is a heavy car for long trip & fast track.

Love the direction you're going in. As a rule for me, like you , I don't mind buying higher mileage cars especially if you have most of the service records and a clear title. Love it!! Ive rented a BMW M2 a few months back at the Nürburgring, and that auto transmission is the quickest ive ever experienced. That car made me realise why folks pick auto over manual on cars like these. Adds some drama when you get hit in the back on an upshift. Great choice, this must be the one of the best sports sedans available. The refinement and the ride must be a good step up from the Focus. Enjoy!!

Maintenance first then get that thing wrapped. Some sort of metallic green would be cool to see on it 🤙🏼

Be sure to have a GOOD “Warm-Up” Routine! That is the key to longevity! The Oil and Transmission need to reach temp. Don’t Punch it till the “Oil OK” is lit up! Do this and you will Love her! Nice car 😎, I'm pretty sure it's Silverstone II though not blue water (my 330d is water blue, quite a bit stronger blue than yours). As well as the headlights, it looks like the front bumper is misaligned, at least on the left hand side, also it looks like the LHS rear door is a different colour to the front? (oh, just seen you did mention the colour and front damaged later on ;) ). Btw, why replace the good headlight? PS You guys are so lucky to have such cheap fuel prices! $50!? (that's £40), it cost me £97 ($121) to fill my M3 with ~60lts of super unleaded yesterday!

Sorry man, but there is NO WAY that I would trade a Focus RS for an E90 M3 with an automatic and previous body damage. I probably wouldn't do it for a clean E46 M3 even though that is my favorite gen of M3. For an MK4 Supra project car like the one on that lot though, I would consider it.

First things first do the rod bearings asap and the maintenance on the car make sure to double check all the suspension on it cause on bmw m cars they tend to eventually need new suspension specially if you beat on them also the v8 in the e9x platform hates e85 so stay away from that lol but other than that congrats dude almost forgot you can also get the car coded so u can have a gts flash and some other cool features for your car

You should definitely do a headunit swap as well something that has wireless CarPlay will be better than that adapter
