8.5k , what a great price. How he has not sold it for a higher price I don’t know but as someone said it’s niche product. George would be a fantastic ambassador and reviewer for your channel. You’ve met some nice people along the way but he’s the best. Get him on board. I know they say don’t mix your hobby with your job but he’s way to passionate and knowledgeable about cars to not be working in the industry.

As a life long Ford fan, this should be a 20k car. Unfortunately it isn't at the present time, but definitely will be if kept the same in the future. An outstanding car, the owner should be beyond proud. 👌

Can't believe I've stumbled upon this gem of a video. I'm attempting to go down the exact same route with my ST500 that I picked up for pennies in 2018 now I've saved enough to fully restore it and modify it. It's only covered 30k in it's lifetime, I bought it with 26k on the clock. I'm getting it up to around 320bhp (basically getting as much out of the stock turbo as I can safely) and making as much as I can underneath as mint as I can. I'm waiting for prices on full polybush and powdercoating underneath, but I'm opting for uprated hardrace front and rear wishbones/arms and keeping the brakes relatively stock for now, it's got EBC discs and pads and the calipers are just standard. Seeing this motivates me so much, you could eat your dinner of the underside of this! I cannot wait to be in a similar position, however I will probably never sell the car. I've come to terms with the fact I'll probably own it as long as I possibly can

What an amazing job. That looks bloody fantastic. Absolutely perfect for a little cruise on a dry summer day. Not sure that putting it on POD is the right move though. The chances of it being won by someone who will cherish it are bloody slim compared to the likelihood it will be won by someone who just thought they would have a go because its free. Such a shame

I prefer even older fords tbh but this is possibly one of the best cars on planet of dreams and this spec/colour is epic, mods are perfect, subtle and very OEM+ .... someone is going to be very lucky/happy with this one.

What a build mines going to go through the same process I've cars currently at matt Lewis for engine rebuild when I get mine back ill fully underseal car powder coat all suspension and subframes. To me this car inspiration for me I thank you both for sharing it 😊

I love the idea of doing this to a car, but I hate the feeling of not wanting to drive it to try and preserve it… happened to me with a 12 year old boxster I got in perfect condition, I felt awful driving it as much as I was but after taking it 2500 miles across Europe it has bug splats, stone chips etc and now I just enjoy it so much more without worrying as much as I used to

I think it's an experience thing. Like I'm 8k+ deep into mods/upgrades on my 3 MPS and although I wouldn't change a thing because I've enjoyed learning about all the things along the way and the experience of working on it to that degree, if I decided to get another one later down the line, I'd definitely spend a bit extra initially for one that's already had the work done. 😅 It's the enthusiast life I suppose, so many others can relate. That ST is a legit gem though.

one of if not the best cars ever made when Ford owned Volvo the 5cyl Volvo engine in the Ford made the Ford awesome.
