Eventhough he's sold as an AoS mini, all the AoS specific bits are actually optional to the build. If you leave those off, no cutting required, he fits perfectly on a 25mm square base. I'd like to think thats because the designers made him with Warhammer the Old World in mind aswell.

As a German, I had to look for synonyms for nostalgia myself and ended up with "Rückwärtsgewandheit" (the noun constructed from the adverb 'rückwärts' (backward) & the verb 'sich wenden' (to turn or to turn around) in the meaning of 'longing for the past') as pretty much the only word that could fit in my opinion. It is usually used in a derogatory way for people who heavily cling to the past. Mostly when politics or leadership in general takes an anachronistic development. Otherwise, we Germans just get nostalgic like everyone else. With one exception. For fans of the style and/or products of East Germany during the Cold War, the sound of "ost" for East is played with, which leads to "Ostalgie" as a special form of nostalgia (Nostalgie in German). Anyway, it's cool to see the content. Let's see when my number 500 from my subscription arrives.

Wow, thanks for the great elaboration on the nostalgia topic! ❤️ I will have to practice extensively that Rückwärtsgewandheit in order to be able to occasionally drop it in the future videos 😅😅😂
