@@mdrlolcat I think it's "Has-lin" but yeah that one is crazy too. It really kinda feels like they're rushing through everything. I totally understand, I did the same thing my first playthrough. It would be nice to see them stop to smell the roses and maybe roleplay a little more, though.
That Concentration spell overwrite at1:58:00 is the most common mistake in BG 3. Doesn't matter if you just picked up the game or been playing since launch of Early Access, everyone does it every now and then.
True. It'd be really nice if there was a popup to say "Casting this spell will break concentration on your current spell. Are you sure this is what you want?"
The fact that these 3 didn’t know about the Vegas incident for lud is hilarious I know they got stuff going on it’s more of how Ludwig will just not bring things up after he’s made a video about it🤣
Ludwig is such a racist to the short races, calling all of them goblins. The gnomes, when one of his party members is a gnome. The dwarves. But Dubbin definitely isn't a goblin oh no that halfling is too "tall" for that but the dwarves tower over halflings lmao
idk if youll see this but if you want to save an npc mid dialogue with nere and the gnomes in the bottom left there are swords in a circle press that to start combat
I'm just saying guaranteed crits on a paladin kinda goes crazy like, turning a hit into a crit, AND divine smiting at the same time? That doubles the value of the hit and divine smite, meaning you'll be doing like 4d8 (4-32) extra damage on top of a doubled base weapon damage on the target for only a 1st level spell slot smite.
Idk if the idea has come up but imagine lil short animated clips of their playthrough… they’d be really funny to watch and would give another way to experience their gameplay. I think Leslie’s character would be a funny narrator for the story especially when she’s getting thrown around by Dubbin but idk just a random thought
@@PenguinNinja45shadowheart leaves your party if you resolve it without her so I'm assuming since they are all playing together, shadowheart is going to be left behind thus resulting in her departure lol.
Due to the fact that Baldur's Gate 3's companions don't take an active role in adventuring if they're not in the party, Larian's Vincke says co-op players might be best served by ignoring them. More specifically, Vincke recommends focusing on party members, whether they be friends or companions. He says that, "your connection to these characters is going to be much shallower than if you had them with you." As such, Vincke would much rather Baldur's Gate 3 players wait to fully experience these companions' journeys in a single-player run where they can join the party. I copied and pasted that but I think it’s possible for them to switch to Shadowheart before that event so she doesn’t leave but idk if they’re going for the full story experience or if they’re just having fun entertaining chat. I haven’t watched the whole play through so far though. Bits and pieces when I can. Maybe Ludwig would go for it though 🤷🏾♂️ didn’t he reclass or something because of something chat told him?
They really should all try to "rizz" one companion. Without the bonus approval from having them in your party they solely can rely on gifts and if they allsplit the gifts i dunno if they will be able to rizz anyone. Kinda would be fitting for Dubbin and the Ho'less i suppose
I know I shouldn’t backseat but please don’t jump into act 2. Remember that you haven’t fully explored the overworld, and the current place you’re at right now.
they really should of just did seperate playthroughs. Theres so so much story they are missing out because one person does a cutscene while another is talking or trading. Im so glad I played this shit solo because that does not sound fun whatsoever
Their campaign is great but I wish they reloaded a bit less. We don't really want to see a run when they just make all the "correct" decisions, we've all already made this playthrough. It would be more entertaining if they just faced the consequences of their actions : the game is made to handle fuck ups and it's a source of unique interactions or creative getaways. It's also the game is meant to be played.
Why is the ranger class so useless? I’m new to the game and it seems like Jupiter has a 50% chance of contributing like a normal teammate and 50% of just wasting a team slot. Why is every arrow strike 50/50? Even if she gets more attempts in the future, ranger seems bad for early game
there’s good items like risky ring which give u advantage on attack rolls to help with sharpshooter, also ranger is better multiclassed w rogue I think
Just not using the right equipment and talent allocation. Rangers rock. Their is so much gear you can get before this area they're in. Unfortunately, they've skipped a ton of content and therefore gear.
Gloomstalker Ranger is insane in BG3. When mixed with Assassin Rogue, they almost always go first in battle, attack at crazy range, automatically crit everything that they attack as long as that creature hasn’t taken a turn yet, and they get 4 sometimes 5 attacks on their initial round. They can wear Medium armor, sneak and lock pick, and they have magic spells like Misty Step.
