Dude. these are so much fun, watching them all play together. Such a fun dynamic, and they dont know it, but they are really good. They just need their understand their classes, and its smooth sailing.
Classes doesn't matter as much IMO if the understand they base mechanics. In DnD their is only a powercreep between wizards and any other class, but even that is only a thing when they get access to 6th and 7th lvl spells. (One might argue for animate dead at lvl 5, but you can't abuse that as much in BG3, since you can cast it only once)
@@azpont7275 Absolutely. The game is super easy if you know the rules. Even on honor mode the first few levels are kind of challenging but after act 1, you pretty much steamroll everything.
@@keremcantarhan Yeah. Honestly the most difficult part is not starting as Durge for them sweet-sweet benefits. That cloak makes soloing act 1 so much easier.
You would think this game was made for rocket scientists or something when you watch them play. Their understanding of basic english genuinely fails when they play this game
This is exactly my experience! I never played D&D, but after playing 70 hrs of Baldurs Gate, now i’m planning my first irl campaign with friends!! Its the best introduction to D&D for beginners!
@@kaitlynv623 Hope you and your friends have a great campaign! I've been playing with a couple of my friends for a few years doing standard D&D, but also homebrew systems such as a Harry Potter campaign. D&D is so versatile and you aren't limited to the Fantasy setting if the DM just puts enough effort and creativity in. It can be a lot of work, but that work can be such a rewarding experience.
Dude. Ludwig actually clutches and then tries to act cool to save someone's honour. Damn. I thought there was no shot they get minthara in their party, but I didn't expect THIS!!! I'm invested now. I hope they play the whole game through. I literally won't make another comment about what I think is the right way. I want to see their chaos unfold. I'd never get this route.
@@TMC_TimeLine You can and I have. The problem is if you were in a relationship and you try to get with her, you will not get the "scene" with her (its a bug).
Genuinely don't mean this as an insult at all: Is Ludwig dyslexic? He called Halsin Haslin, Minthara Minathra, and thought poison said potion multiple times. Anyway, great stream. This group was a lot of fun to watch and I hope they continue.
I remember him saying he has some sorta minor disability when reading but I forgot what. It’s not dyslexia though (I think). If I’m wrong, sorry. It’s been so long since I heard him say that (it was during the pandemic).
Hopefully they continue the game. BG3 is my favorite game and this group has been the best bg3 streams I’ve watched, I love this so much. A few important info/tips: There are 2 types of spells, normal spells and concentration spells. The difference is that, you can only have 1 concentration spell at a time. For example, Rae’s spell called Hunter’s Mark is a spell that gives bonus damage when the enemy is hit and is a concentration spell. If Rae uses another spell that has concentration on it, Hunter’s Mark would disappear. When you dual wield with daggers, the off hand dagger uses bonus action to attack. So as a thief, you can attack up to 3 times. You can also dual wield 2 cross bows if you find them and do the same with cross bows but now as ranged attacks. You can go to merchants and sell unwanted junk for gold. You should save as often as possible. Ability scores ( Strength, Decterity, etc) should be in even numbers as you won't actually get bonuses for odd-number ability scores. For example 12 str and 13 str give the same bonuses, only when it’s 14 str that it gives more, You can only destroy things with health bars, a bridge can only be destroyed if it has a health bar. You can double click on portraits on the top during a fight to immediately have your screen jump to that character’s location.
@@ToySouljah. Most of Act 1. The Act 1 main story is what they did but all the companion stuff all the side quests basically like 80% of Act 1 hasn't been explored.
Love watching you play with the girls, you guys have great dynamics and fun RPG chemistry, you're all very distinctive and it's a delight to watch you all banter, and when you die and scream, that always makes me laugh. Also as a thief rogue, if you're interested in fine-tuning your character check out the Rogue/Thief dual xbow guides. That's currently the meta's strongest DPS build. There's so many way to play Rogues, I hope you keep having fun!
Took me 20-30 hours to complete the goblin leader assassination quest. Mostly because I did all the side quests before doing the main and you guys went straight for the main quest. So in terms of progress you guys are fast assuming you move on to main quests and ignore side quests
I somehow got the spiders below to attack him. Kept him busy enough for me to kill the others first. Also I did a lot of sidequests before it to level up.
Nah turn that shit off. Mostly because it will feel more like true D&D but the main reason is even though it stops failing many times in the row, it also stops you from succeeding many times in a row.
@@Bigryguy95-epic I don't think it actually nerf the high rolls. (I crit at least 4 times a fight on my champion) Let's be honest though it's not fun to roll poorly for weeks in a row at your DnD table either, especially when it's content that involves other streamers. Doubt it would be interesting to do permadeath or constant save scumming in front of chat while you learn the mechanics and language of the game.
Idk what you mean by permadeath. They can use the scrolls of revivify or use withers as they have done. Constant save scumming is totally on them. They can roll with the punches. That's how the game works. Some of the best times I've had at the table is from rolling poorly. Karmic dice gets rid of the total RNG of the dice. It's karmic because it's meant to balance out the successes and failures. Thus, you theoretically should not succeed more than you fail. So if you can't go on fail streaks, you can't go on success streaks. I'm pretty sure I read this somewhere from Larian but maybe I'm an internet capper. Idk. Either way, I'm sure chat loves nothing more than seeing Ludwig say a line in his goofy rizz or confident voice just to roll like shit. @@drandana3661
As Ludwig said, he prefers not to do it as people are going to spam him if he doesn't finish the game. When asked about the members only stream, he said everyone can watch it for free on Leslie/Miyoung/Rae's stream. Sooo... go there :)
