There is no Ohio, I thought I lived in Ohio for years. I thought I got my education, slept, and fell in love there. It was all fake, Ohio is and never will be real. I’ve made this post to try to enlighten the people and expose the corrupt fake Ohioan government. LEGO land’s attempts to destroy the government will be in vain due to it not existing. I tried to tell the South Carolinians who are against Toledo that the area doesn’t even exist, they didn’t believe me, probably because they would have no clue what to do with their hatred. The people who believe that they live in Ohio are being brainwashed by the blue green algae from the Lake Erie. Where did the algae come from though? They put it there. I’ve only heard them referred to as a they, please send help I don’t have much time left and want to save what friends I have left.
Industrial Society and Its Future by Theodore John Kaczynski Introduction 1. The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race. They have greatly increased the life-expectancy of those of us who live in “advanced” countries, but they have destabilized society, have made life unfulfilling, have subjected human beings to indignities, have led to widespread psychological suffering (in the Third World to physical suffering as well) and have inflicted severe damage on the natural world. The continued development of technology will worsen the situation. It will certainly subject human beings to greater indignities and inflict greater damage on the natural world, it will probably lead to greater social disruption and psychological suffering, and it may lead to increased physical suffering even in “advanced” countries...
“I was super short on time and i could barely make it” places camera on tripod for drive by shots about 10 times adding probably 20 mins to his journey 😂
20 minutes of research would have saved dozens of hours of work. No helmet, no lights, no tools, no tubes, no test rides, and a very good "hold my beer" story :-)
Jesus Christ loves you ❤ He wants to save you! He is the only way to heaven. We must repent before it’s too late. God is trying to make Himself known to you. Because He cares about you and wants you in His kingdom. That’s why Jesus died for us out of love. He wants to heal you too 🙏 God bless you.
@@chickennuggets5549 i already have a god from another religion. forcing your beliefs on other people is not what jesus would want you to do, "chickennuggets5549"
The thing I love most about this vid is that you shared the whole process.... including the failure. So many make it all look so easy, so it's refreshing to see someone showing the bumps in the road (pun intended!)
The gate didn’t seem like too much of an obstacle to begin with lol. I thought it would have been much bigger. Idk seems staged at the end.. but good shit. You guys always work so hard.
I also like the idea of it being locked down so if you have a sudden, life threatening emergency, no one can get in or out. Good luck if you have a sudden health issue.
0:28 the flying tent was a nice touch! In the future might be smart to bring a pump on a 50 mile trek! Could also put a spare wheel on the back if you plan to keep using it!
Suggestion for an upgrade which I did to mine - solid tyres on wheelchair wheels, and hitch via the rear wheel axle on the bike rather than the rack position - this will stop it tilting the bike when cornering. I ended up building a monowheel trailer to fit on my motorbike instead though.
Tip: take off and cushion the tv when traveling if you go on bumpy roads. This applies to normal campers too. I’ve broken 2 tvs on one road that was just slightly unpaved.
Awesome ending. I felt your pain the whole way. And when you shared your "rule", made it to the entrance, and was able to lift your camper over the gate I was super impressed. Bravo man!
You're back with another awesome video! You definitely deserve more recognition! I felt so bad when the first camper fell and then the campsite closed. Glad you could finish! 💞
Drew builds stuff did this too (twice actually), and he did a really good job of making it lighter and more functional while going more in depth explaining it. Granted his was heavier, but I believe that both are really cool. He used aluminum for the base, made it wider, and used different waterproof methods, but had to have an external battery for his bike. If you ever do this again I'd recommend taking some inspiration from drew builds stuff. Both of you have really amazing builds that I'd honestly love to also try to make. Might sound weird that I'd want to make my own, but I feel like I'd love it all the more if I made it exactly perfect just for me.
Man, your last line hit me to the core. I’m currently in the middle of the hardest time in my life and really needed to hear that. It’s definitely going to stick with me for a long time.❤
I have been planning to built something like this. Most content on this subject hide poor performance and failures. This video has been most informative. I will most definitely be adding power and breaking to my trailer. Thank you.
Not going to lie man the quality of your videos has improved soo much!!! I’ve always loved your videos but as of recent the quality has made them so much more entertaining ❤
Thank you for sharing this video, it was a real eye opener- i learned a lot and took notes! I am building a bike camper currently- so far only the subframe is complete. When complete, it will have more of a traditional "airstream" look. My day job is in commercial signage, so i have all the free (used) aluminum tubing and sheet i could want at my disposal. Trailer will have solid (not pneumatic) tires and hydraulic brakes. Tow vehicle is a Tern GSD ebike. Floor material will be a sandwich of fiberglassed polypropylene honeycomb and rigid foam. Should tow okay (if I stick to my weight budget) as i occasionally pull a Bikes At Work trailer loaded with 300 pounds.
Those cheap wheels are notorious for the bearings loosening up. Taking an adjustable wrench with you would have solved it. Not ideal for regular repairs, but road side like that in a pinch it works great
The amount of dedication was impressive. When the camper fell, I would've gave up. But you didn't, you rebuilt it and even when the campsite was closed, you still didn't give up.
Definitely some of the best, encouraging and genuine youtube's i've watched so far. And i've been stuck in bed for over a month due to bladder surgery watching youtube.
@@andyMSH700 chay is an honest and dedicated man, he wouldnt throw his work away just for some views, also if the video was scripted he would make it to the camp on time, and not have to detour to walmart.
Oh hey, you're back! I found your channel a couple of weeks ago through your homelessness series. I was afraid maybe you were going to post again but I still subscribed just in case. Glad I did. Have you heard of bucket bikes (by Madsen)? You could probably make something like that for a lot cheaper -- maybe even make a food/drink cart out of it and earn some money. What you came up with is such a cool concept by the way. It's sad that housing is so expensive but I could see this becoming an extreme version of a tiny house. The mindset behind why you made it is definitely a lot more positive though.
Did you stage the camper falling into the creek? The wheels on the camper that you replaced the kid bike tires with 0:53 aren't the same ones on the camper when you pulled it out of the creek 2:57
YAYYY ive been waiting for a video for a little while ❤ thank you for posting :) the legend it backkkk i love that he never gives up no matter what ❤❤❤
Fantastic idea and nicely done, too! It was funny seeing you at the beginning adding TV and xbox to an already super heavy wooden trailer :-) but that is a core of an American way of life 😋 So I am happy you have come to your senses and remake the whole thing the way it is useful and nice.
Only issue with that is that airless tyres are quite expensive as they're not widely and mass produced yet. Instead, it would be a good idea to use stronger alloy or carbon mountain bike wheels with actual all terrain tyres. The wheels should also be mounted to the camper with much tighter force.
@@matthewtants6025 not really that expensive, but a big pain in the a-s to replace, also this build is like very limited and basic, almost to the point of being unsafe... he could have install a lot of auxillary stuff which wouldn't affect the weight that much, but instead they rushed it for the views.
Way to stick with it but hopefully you learned that doing dry runs with new equipment is a good idea :) Finishing a build and planning a long trip with it untested almost always results in teething issues. Also anything much over 100 lbs is a pain to pull with a bike and you should really consider trailer breaks if your going to try. I've been considering makeing something like this myself but the general plan is to tow it around for a few miles around home and spend the night in it in my back yard once before just hitting the open road. I was thinking coroplast instead of foam
I have been struggling alot cuz I need teeth implants and i always feel like giving up. Your video may not get me new teeth but certainly helps my spirit. Thanks a bunch!
Dude this was an awesome video! I loved the sad point at the beginning transitioning to a new attempt and a new challenge! This made me want to do this!
Yep, never use walmart bikes for anything- they break insanely quickly and are very poorly set up. It looked like the loose wheel was a loose hub, which wasn't due to your building skills at all. With some better wheels and tyres (and maybe insulation for colder nights) this would be amazing though and is a really cool build!
@@ChayDenne Oh wow a reply from the Prez himself! I love seeing the challenges and fun stuff you get up to and the way that you prove that we're all capable of them. This was a great vid as I'm a fan of cycling myself and find it one of the best sports for getting creative, feeling free and pushing yourself to the limit. Looking forward to the next vid already! :)
I rode a Walmart motorized walgoose across America last year Florida to California and back. You not what your talking about. Chinese bikes are the most superior bikes ever mass manufactured.
If this doesn’t do as well as we hope it does then js do this but ride it coast to coast from NYC to La👀 js make sure ur have a backpack or sum to store spare wheels or someone near u at all times in case u need to reconstruct the trailer to be able to complete it
I'm sorry you had so many problems, however I find it interesting you're a channel that shows the "failures" as well as the success videos. Keep on going!
Hi love the foam camper , could you share the building plans or where did you get the template for the the teardrop shaped, or could you share dimension. Thank you for your great videos .
Cool idea! Curious if bicycle helmets are required in your jurisdiction. Might be worth noting in the description how important helmets are whenever sharing the road with vehicles.
Where others would have made a simple straightforward video.. y’all took the opportunity to tell a great story. Keep it up gentlemen. Pain is the sweat of success.
If you cycle an average of 25 miles per hour, as you say at 4:10 . And you say the camping spot is 51 miles away. How can you have cycled for 6 hours and still not be there? You could cycle that distance in 2 hours. And which electric bicycle has enough power to cycle for 6 hours? I mean, I think it's kind of fake. But who am I to say that.
