Being from the UK/GB (United Kingdom/Great Britain) I really appreciated the line 'If the French can do it, how hard can it be?!'. Actually laughed out loud. Love the channel.
As an American but that studied literature and history, I think my favorite "English" thing to do is take jabs at the French. Even though they were kinda necessary for us to become a nation. Lafayette, you were cool, even if your people are fruity.
One thing I'd recommend, could be some good blacksmith projects, are hooks hanging down from the center. It's a very nice place to put say your camera bag, when you wanted to be out of the way. Especially in a limited space like this.
Excellent idea... can even be a location for the lantern to send a more diffuse light over the entire floorplan from above instead of the side-lighting.
The more I think about it, the more I think it really would be nice to live in a little cabin with a shop next to it for a year or two. The Warband has it nailed.
We have 2 stackable kitchen boxes for pots pans and dishes to keep the mice out during elk camp. Front flips down to make your prep table. Maybe an insulated box for the batteries. Fun stuff!
Muthe be nithe to have your own tent/mancave/castle. I can see a good bit of thought and handed down experience is being shown here...very nice. It's fun watching it all develop.
Always nice to see a new Wranglerstar video, especially the construction stuff! I can half vouch for the Starlink wifi, it gets really good speeds but we had a lot of disconnecting and losing the signal, though we were also in Central America so it's likely to be much more consistent in North America.
Nice job Cody , wow yes my wife and I could live in that full time no problem. Thank you for the videos of your progress. I love the little deck , man I would be fishing constantly lol.
Very cool, man. I'd love to get a bit of property and do exactly what you've done here. I like camping because it strips you down to the bare essentials, which allows you to focus, or defocus as your need may be.
I feel like living that lifestyle is just a antidote to so many mental problems men have today. It brings you in a simple state of mind were you are able to see clear on what to take care of. Inspired me great video.
Coming along GREAT!!!! Luv it! Had a fever last night so this morning was my first warm shower in 3 months. Feel a little guilty about it!!!! But I didn't want to push my luck. lol Back to the cold ASAP!!!!!
I just have to say how impressed with you and your show. I would just love to meet you ! Former Wild land firefighter/ Sawyer What I am trying to say is your information is on spot ! And your very entertaining in a sincere manner !
I absolutely love those blankets on your cot and would love to know where you got them!!! would you be willing to mention them in a vid?! love the vids! thanks Cody.
Looks fantastic, especially that view of the stream. Tbh if I had a bit of land and some spare change I'd live in one. I hate living in the city but have no choice atm unfortunately.
That’s plenty for any 1 person. Amazing setup. I always tell my wife, I could live in a tent and be happy. Let her pick decorations and styling in our house. Although if she went way to feminine I might not be so agreeable. Anyways, I really like what you have going with the canvas tent.
you could but the guvmint could crack down on you also - most places make it illegal to live on your land in a tent year-round. I know one county that allows primitive structures for year-round dwellings. Sure I think it's awesome but I'm not Big Brother.
LOL LOL Cody: accidentally picks up the wrong corner of a piece of fabric while recording. Instantly flys off the handle into government conspiracy theories including fluorine. Gotta love this place. Lookin good, sir.
That's exactly what I'm looking for as my final home. I'm still debating though if I want the White duck tent or get a yurt. Unfortunately land costs too much here in Western NY so I just need to continue saving up.
Great setup Cody, have you considered building a couple simple bunk beds to maximize space? Since heat rises you could also capitalize on the warmer temps while sleeping in the winter.
