i built a magical *crystal creations* starter in the sims 

Fun fact, the charging grid for the gems actually charges all day long in the Magic Realm! I found it out by accident but its super handy!

This is definitely a pack duo that shouldn't use a budget restraint -- I'd have loved to see how much you could do and what it would look like if you hadn't had to worry about money. It'd be cool to see a non-budget-restricted version of this build.

Cottage living, Get Together, Realm of Magic, and Crystal Creations together would be such amazing vibes

This is definitely one of those houses that I wish weren't a starter. 😭

I really like the idea of a series of videos like this where you built a house with only two or three packs as opposed to using only one and basegame, it gives us more of an idea of what packs go well together and it's more similar to how most people play the game as I think most of us have only a couple of packs that we like the style of or that we love for game play It also give us an opportunity to see what packs match and that is very helpful for someone who has only a handful of packs and is thinking about buying another one but is not sure which You could make it a series and build a couple of houses where you use packs that go well together, like decor to the max, paranormal and strangerville or the castle pack and vampires, it could be a sort of "what to get next if you love pack X" series

its a bummer than realm of magic stuff is so expensive. It's disappointing to watch Kayla be like 'oh I'd love to use this or that' but she can't because she's trying to make a starter home. It would be nice if she redid this build without the budget constraints -- we could really get a better sense of how these packs go together that way. This ended up being a cute build, but I'd like to see Kayla go nuts without a budget.

i mean this in the most loving and scared way possible, there's a lot of doubled dialogue in this one (not sure if that was an editing mistake), but the cottage is mad cute, i haven't bought a new pack in 2 years but this new one might break my streak

i feel like having a budget constraints really wasn’t the vibe for this video, personally i would have preferred to see simsie just show off all the items from the packs and show how well they work together rather than put something together that is “fine”

As a spell caster you can use magic to duplicate the items and sell the same one over and over again and get quite a bit of money

I’ve spent over $1k on this game, I’m over the bugs so I tend to watch the more frustrated summers/non EA affiliated channels. But when I’m super upset I come to Kaylas channel to focus on the positives!

this pack genuinely came out at the best time for me. i'm doing a legacy challenge where i want at least one member of every occult in the family tree. i started with werewolves, and now i'm at the second generation which is the spellcaster one. and What's more perfect for a witch who's girlfriend is a cured werewolf than a moon themed crystal pack??? we already live in that exact lot!

I LOVE the landscaping in this one! I'd like to see Kayla do some kind of landscape bootcamp where she tries landscaping in different kinds of builds and/or environments! Landscaping in the winter would be a fun challenge!

lilsimsie has gone from designing houses in the shape of cakes and texas to now a minecraft dog 😭this was such a cute build though i’m so excited to play with the home!!

I was literally up most of the night trying to make a starter home using Crystal Creations and Realm of Magic so this came at a good time. I started using the shell from you last shell challenge but couldn’t figure out how to make it work. It’s amazing how you can come up with designs as often as you do. I’ll keep tying to make my own but I might just give in and use your starter.

Love simsie but I really hate these limited starter home builds. It’s become really repetitive and I would love to see her use these packs more freely and creatively!!

I love that you posted a starter home for this. I love using simsie starters because then I actually customize the build as I go. If i cheat for free real estate and use a completely finished house, I never want to mess it up by changing things!

Okay so I just downloaded this because my attempts at building my own were awful, and the Realm of Magic bathroom set comes in a pretty mauve and like coppery swatch that I’ve never used that perfectly matches the wallpaper you used in the bathroom! This is a great starter house with a lot of fun ways to make it fancier! The landscaping is what really sold me. Thanks, Kayla!
