Hi always enjoy your videos and they do give me the motivation I need to grow my passion into a business. I'm currently working on an online course what platforms do you recommend for me?
Hi Nicsha, loved all the points and I am currently working on a few. How do we go about finding brands that we can affiliate with and get them to give us their commission rates and links?
Thanks for sharing your journey! For me, one of the best parts of your content is your transparency. People learn by example, not just theory, and you provide excellent examples.
This video has come at the perfect time as I am currently working on turning my passion into a business. I am in the early stages of building the foundations of the business which is hard but I know that it will be worth it. Thanks Nischa.
Hi Nischa! I just watched like 3 or 4 of your videos, and I’m so grateful for your advice! You’re the best and smartest influencer ever, I love that I’m learning and I’m actually learning a lot! Thank you for being so generous with your advice and your money saving mindsets! 😊
Great advice as always. Impact > Monetary is a great way of keeping the fire going. Too many people turn their passion into a job and forget that it was their love of the subject that got them to where they are. Having a constant reminder of the reason you chose the area as a way of making money can be a huge help.
o my goodness nischa! this was the video i was waiting for... seen sooooo many videos on how to start a youtube channel but no one breaks it down like this! being from a science backgroubd with zero business knowledge, this video is like a bible! a step by step guide with heaps of insights and personal experience! thank you so much! :)
Great video! I really relate to the passion vs monetization part. Whenever I feel not motivated to make youtube videos, I come back and look at the first time someone blew up on youtube or their first paycheck videos. It gives me instant motivation and creates a new energy loop to get going. As the saying goes, you can't fail if you don't give up and success will become a by-product.
Pretty much I was doing most of the stuff, described in this video for quite a few years, in some cases, quite successful, but my occupation and skill set is so specific for making millions out of it :) . Still, I love what I do and those people, who I teach, definitely receiving a highest quality information. ☺
A1+! This shifted my thinking about doing videos on techniques already covered by other people. I have to be more of “myself with a vengeance”! Cheers!
Your content always feels so genuinely authentic and it’s usually always pretty sound advice. Just wanted to say thanks for putting out useful and relatable content 🙌
Thank you Nischa for sharing this video. I was almost on the verge of giving up on my dreams but your words have inspired me to keep going. Can’t thank you enough for your content ❤
Thank You Nisha. You are great and wise young woman. I wish to hear your advices 11 years ago, hope I am not to old to chane my life. I will never know if I will not try. You motivates me a lot with your advices and passion to share a knowledge.
Thank you for sharing your vision & tips! You're the one blogger on YT that I watch consistently & apply your recommendations into my own life & business I'm trying to build. So please continue making videos)
Thank you for this video, I enjoy the fact that your videos are practically helpful, there is always something to take away and implement. I followed the five days you did earlier but my circumstances didn't make it worth carrying on. My dilemma is that I am not wanting to make a profit, I would like my project to be self-sustaining. I will consider your points from today's video and see how they can help - thank you
This was profound. No lie I really appreciated it. I never considered people might connect with what I’m saying even though it might have been said 100 times already. Thank you, kind YT lady!
Didn't know that I wanted this video! Found your advice to be very practical and actionable, and especially the way you broke down the process into easy-to-understand steps with your own personal experiences was really helpful. As always keep up the excellent work Nischa! :) Also, I'm keeping all the pdfs you share, and I genuinely love the effort and knowledge you put into them. I get them printed out, and keep them on my table for any ready references.
Thank you for sharing this, really interesting! I'll definitely be working through your guide. Something I'd like to work out is how to spend my limited time wisely to monetise my passion - there seem to be endless resources to tap into, but if you're working a full 9-5 whilst trying to work out how to build a business, how do you prioritise where you direct your limited time and money?
I think people need to consider what they have energy for, and what level of risk they are prepared to wear. I do strategy and advisory, specialising in financial crises and distressed assets. When I was thinking of going out on my own, I had commitments and dependencies that I thought "hmm, they're actually a higher priority than wealth per se", so stayed in salaried work. The trade-off is more job security for less wealth. That's fine for me. It's not especially entrepreneurial but hey, life happens.
Another excellent Sunday morning video Yesterday I spent like 4 hours trying to separate like 20 curry leafs plants from one pot..got my hands dirty and everything but I loved it .. that’s play time for me and hard work for others 😀
Love it! One of your best videos yet. I can understand the idea of when the content creation feels more like work/job then the feeling you mentioned having on the train.
Thank you for your videos! I just discovered your channel a few days ago and have been greatly inspired! For years I have been telling myself that I don't stand out in my field and have difficulty with self-promotion. But this video and others are really helping me overcome that and get determined to ignore that pessimistic voice. It will not be easy, but doable. Thank you so much! Please keep your wonderful, helpful videos coming!
Great video as always. You're one of the few experts who consistently delivers genuinely value packed, succinct videos. One theme I've heard mentioned often is to focus on your passion, and the money will follow. You've certainly done that 👌
Hi Nischa! I love your content. You said that on this video you have a document to keep you going when you don’t want to create content. I have been struggling with that. Some days, I have to create content but my motivation is not there to do it. Is it too much to ask to share it with us? Or anything you want to share to keep our motivation Thank you 🥰
Thanks for sharing your journey! You have inspired me to start my youtube channel. It was my dream for a long time, and i am very happy to take the first step. Thank you so much for all the encouragement!
Wait, do you think cryptocurrency will crash? I dont think so. More and more companies are integrating cryptocurrency into their operations: Amazon, Cannafarm Ltd, Burger King, even Starbucks, dude!
I love baking. But I feel now days, everybody has a bakery/ caffe. I don't have business skills to get more customers and I'm dying on my regular 9 to 5 job😢
Oh Nischa it keeps getting better and better. I’m so glad I found financial RU-vidrs. With over a year of hard study including videos books and audiobooks which has almost entirely been a pleasure, I have started a business at 41. I’ve started small business in property, just letting my house to begin with. I have moved to India to lower expenses which is an undersold part of personal finances. In six months if I still like travelling, and so far I love it, I shall step up my game and buy more profitable properties. Then I’m freewheeling and going downhill. I spend £5,000 a year here so I can step up my investments in the global stock market, cheaply of course. The future is bright. I know I’ve expressed gratitude here before but I can’t stop being grateful to all of the people who helped educate me and I just wanted to give an update.
Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life
That is such wonderful advice about measuring impact instead of money. Your videos have helped me SO much since I found you about a month ago - have truly set my life on a different course, so thank you for putting in so much hard work because what you’re doing is definitely unique and is definitely making a huge impact!
Great insight; I feel like you speak my language. And love the focus on impact. Would love to hear more on continuity and how you keep your energy up to create content in the long run. xox
It’s easy for you to use your personality and charisma to tell stories in your unique perspective that resonates with people. I mean, look at you! What do you recommend people like me who looks as good as you but only if you look at me from a mile away?
This is so incredibly helpful and it’s really driving me to see my skills with a new perspective. Sparked ideas and I really want to take things forward now. I’ve been stagnating on some ideas for content for sure! Phd design research is a pretty niche field.. 😅🙏🏼 but so applicable and growing…
Thanks for the guidance, for sharing, and for the transparency. Please, do continue to enjoy creating your content just like before knowing that you have an audience who is waiting for your videos, learning from them, and above all, are very appreciative. Much love 💕 from Canada 🇨🇦
I’m literally on the verge on starting my own side hustle next week so this was a timely update (Thank You!) some excellent points and really justified that I’m making the right move 🤞🏾
Nischa, my side hustle started yesterday and went very well, so scalable too. I’m buzzing… However, I’m now worried about Tax Implications with my existing job. Could you please do a video around Tax and 2nd jobs? When to set up a limited company? Things to be mindful of? I don’t want to get caught out 🤔
People also spend money on consultants for completing tasks that needs to be done but they themselves lack the resources or skills to do. This is where your lawyers, accountants, architects etc comes in. Most of the customers in these profession don’t “want” to buy the service but “needs” it. I feel the list cited in the beginning was a representation of what people willingly spend money on, not what they actually spend money on. That list is probably longer and includes more items.
This was very motivating and inspiring, and everything you said were things I really needed to hear to get going. Thank You for all that you do, and keep up the great work!
Thanks for another great video Nischa! I have a folder like that too where I keep all my positive reviews, comments etc. I love to look back into it and it motivates me to keep going 🙂
thanks @Nischa , this answers a lot of the questions that I have had in my stream of thoughts, and provides a clearer segoe to what I can bring to the table. :)
The problem for me with turn the passion in to the money is reach that stage where all work bring decent benefits and independent circumstances.Maybe from that moment i could go forward ?
At the time of this comment you have 782,000 people subscribed to your channel. 782,000 people. There are cities smaller than that. It just seems so out of reach, honestly. It’s not that I find it not possible, more like possible for other people. Congrats. Seriously, nice job.
You make something that I used to struggle to educate myself about as finance so interesting and accessible! I choose your videos also because I felt so empowered to learn from another woman in a sea of men talking about money. Thank you very much for your passion 🧡
Very helpful information in this video! Your comment about giving one's perspective on a topic may be what someone needs to understand something, even though others are already covering that subject. Eye-opening!!
The downfall of turning your passion into a business is very real. Now it becomes a job and nobody likes a job. The only way to get rid of this feeling is to become financially free, so you no longer have to worry if you didn't upload a video that week or that the video didn't get as many views.
Nischa, your videos are fantastic. Thank you for reminding us to follow our passion and to take action! We have started our channel and dived in to face our fears ♥
Regarding getting paid for sponsorship. Where do we go to draft a contract and what needs to be included in this contract? Can you give us more information on what is the process from beginning to end to get these paid sponsorships finalized?
Very well said Nisha beneficial information is the key to providing help to people. Combing passion and business skills is key to success while filling a gap in the marketplace.
