It's about time we start upgrading from our create starter machines, and start building factories with minecraft create mod instead! Big ones! Today we build an automatic cobble farm based on a design by @BatsyvonFangies (linked below!) and even make a tiny narrow gage train, finally!

@Mr Beardstone As someone who's built a lot of farms that can't be loaded 24/7 and need to be idled at for a while, I find that making an office in a factory can add a lot to the immersion and serve as an excellent place to go AFK. Just a pointer I wanted to give you.

Watched the 1000 day "movie" starting the series off and have been enjoying it so far to the point of thinking I could convince my girlfriend to eventually try the modpack out with me since she loves Minecraft and I only play modded Minecraft so it works out Tho I'll likely be doing most of the work while she looks for resources and pets, she's an animal person lol

Not sure if you've fixed this already, but you're missing a chute between the vault and the PSI above your cobble cart. You've only loaded up the vault, but you need to pull items out of it in order to put them into the cart.

At exactly 14:36 you look at a nice little break in the mountain ridge into a small valley. I honestly think the minecart train would look better if the track swung out a bit more and disappearing into that break in the rocks. You could decorate that whole small valley into a bustling mine entrance and hook up a proper mine there for things that can’t be extracted from cobblestone. Right now, it feels like the train hugs the cobblestone factory to close and needs to be moved out a bit for proper breathing room.

Love the new train! It's so cute! The mine entrance also looks awesome! What about calling the train the Cornerstone Circuit? Since it will be collecting and storing a lot of basic materials needed for a lot of things. It's the cornerstone of the current operation!

The big bowl valleys look like great places to put a quarry, aesthetic or not, I think it can serve a nice purpose for the thinner rail loop since the quarry would naturally loop

to get more ancient debris more quickly, just add a few rows of drills to the sides, go to y-level 15 and place it between two chunk borders and drive for like 30 minutes, you'll get plenty of ancient debris, just bring fire restistance potions so you dont die

i hope this series never ends, its wayyyy too good. you deserve at least a million subscribers! also, instead of clicking a button (like 1 or 2) to switch between inventory slots, you can just fill your inventory with the different blocks that you want, then use the scroll wheel to quickly switch and between the different blocks, then you hold down right click to place it.

Suggestion: for loading the resources from the town to the main line, maybe have a branch siding that leads to a coaling tower (large tower that was used to load coal tenders) that avts as the loader for the mainline trains, and have hopper cars be what the stone and such are shipped in.

If you want to avoid losing tools in the future you can create a second backpack with the tank upgrade and the experience pump upgrade, there's a toggle to repair tools with mending, so as long as there's XP in the tank your tools will auto-mend. You can also add two tanks to a backpack if you want to be really safe, but when you want to add xp to the tank don't pump in XP from create, use the experience pump to "store levels" (it will just take a certain amount of levels from your xp bar) because the create liquid xp is different than the liquid xp from sophisticated backpacks

Have you thought about building a block fore & aft on the narrow gauge train engine? Might be worth a revamp, but I think you could squeeze a semblance of a boiler, and maybe a cabin if you do so. It should also give a more industrial feel too.

Hi Awesome video love the series 😊and i have a question. Would it be possible to build a train ellevator because than you could make the minecart thing more reallistic because back then most of the minecarts where gravity powered and had to go downhill butt instead off pushing them up they where mostly brought back up by elevators and then you could do a cooler and more reallistic track. Also dont know about american mining history is all based about the german one 😅

The minecarts could have different materials inside and each material has a factory according to it, and they could all arive at a storage depot and each little shed/house has an according material and theme according to THAT material. In the back of the shed there could be another minecart which takes materials from the storage depot to the factory that uses that material. I hope you take this into consideration and maybe use them (the sheds are like fused together next to eachother like the rental garage/shed things)

That cobble generator building should be inside the mine, and disguised as a mining machine. That way the train actually has a purpose in the mine.

To get the Factory more realistic you could add windows in the vertical bits of the roof of the storage unit, since those roof design really relies on this and was particularly designed this way ❤

TangoTek also made an interesting cobble factory design. It takes advantage of contraptions temporarily not being solid blocks, as well as pipes trying to push the lava into the blocks attached to a create piston contraption that moves forwards and backwards one block on a clock.

10:30 if you have the enchantment industry mod, work on making a mass enchanter. that way you can have levels beyond the standard Minecraft enchantments and every enchantment on every tool. Side note. it also adds printing to create, for duping books!

I always feel conflicted with these sorts of cobblestone generators. Is it considered "exploite-y" to use the contraption mechanics to increase cobble generation over a stationary drill?

instead of having 1 BIG train to go around the whole village (in the future) to collect all the materials from each factory, why dont you build another building thats kinda like “stock” or something, and you build a small train that goes around the whole village and collect all the materials from all the factories and drop them off at the new building that the big train connect to, as in the big the train only comes and collects all the material from one builing and the small train collects all the materials from every factory

Hey Mr Beardstone, I did some looking and came across the Glossary of rail transport terminology Wiki page. If I am reading the page correctly the bogey style you used accompanied by the narrow gauge track would mean that your train would be referred to as, The Northern. Shortened from Northern Pacific Railway Styled Locomotive. It goes on to say that there are several sun catagories. With this being said, I think the little train could be called something like Stockyard Pocono. I can post a link to the wiki in a follow up comment but it is literally called “Glossary of rail transport terms”

Seeing these uploads always makes me happy Also, from last episode, a suggestion for an improvement of the miner. Try using block filters for the block placers, to add cobble, cobbled deepslate, netherrack, tuff maybe, so you don't have to switch them out every time you want to mine at a different level.

EDIT: i forgot that you did that in the 5000+ block railway video, so, that's an yes i presume are you going to upgrade the railway to a two track railway? that would negate head-on collisions and the one two-way track will not be enough for more than one or two trains in the network? would take some work but honestly if i were you i would have built a two track railway from the beginning

A cool mod to add to your world is Create Crafts & Additions. It's a mod that adds enables you to transfer your kinetic enegry to electrical enegry, which you can then transfer via train or via power cables. It's a real recommender if you need to easily transfer kinetic enegry from one place to another, like from your steam power plant to your cobblestone farm. Also, I really like your videos, keep up the good work!

At this point I suspect that you likely don't want to rebuild it, but if you'd like a cobble generator design that is *insanely* fast, and takes very little power (relatively speaking), check out the design by TangoTek. You may need to do a little bit of digging, since he hasn't done a Create episode in quite some time now, but it is by far one of the best Create powered cobble generators that I have ever seen.
