Dude, that thing can totally rock. It may not get the shrill wails we're used to from metal or solo shreds, but it's got a bluesy vibe to it and feels so smooth to the ear.
By far your most awesome build. I think the imperfections just adds to the soul of the guitar. Making It stand out as if it had been alive for a thousand years !

Agreed. The guitar looks cool as hell. I just wonder, does the dry rot affect like the structure or anything of the wood? Like will it spread or something? I don’t really know anything about woodworking and guitar making, but I think the guitar looks awesome, if anything I think the dry rot adds to the overall burnt aesthetic and such, I just wonder if there’s like a structural reason or anything he was upset about is all

I think for a project like a molten volcano, wood rot can actually be a feature. Volcanos are distructive, powerful forces of nature. Having the wood look destroyed, old and dying really goes with the theme. You absolutely nailed this. I think it my favorite guitar you've made....other than the neck on the solid clear guitar. That was the most amazing piece of wood ice ever seen.
9:08 don't know if that's what you're trying to say, but baritone guitars are very much common in metal music as well. The shape looks very metal-y as well, similar to a BC Rich guitar. Wouldn't be surprised if you got more buy requests from metal musicians than anybody else lol
I don't know how to play a guitar and until I saw your craftsmanship I wasn't the least bit interested, but I'm now hooked on every single build.... Incredible!
Love the look of this guitar, and the guitar playing. What if there was a light put inside the guitar, so that the 'lava' will always glow? I would love to see you make another guitar where a stream of 'lava' starts at the top of the neck (headstock being the crater of the volcano?), and weaves its way down to the body, which is the pool of 'lava'.

I always enjoy watching your videos and marvel at the way you innovate with design, the use of resin and different materials to create something that is both practical/playable and stands alone as a work of art. If you ever sell any of your guitars I’m sure you would have a ton of people that would want them you are ridiculously talented at making them and playing them. Please release some videos of you just playing your guitars because honestly I love when you play them at the end I’m sure a lot of your fans will agree
I have a request for the next video: when playing a demo, could you show the left hand aswell? The arrangement of human nature at 11:00 sounds so awesome and I would love to play it! But I cannot find a tab that sounds like this and I can't play by ear yet..

I must say you have a great talent in making guitars. I need to give you a short version of my back story. I'm 48 years old and have been playing since I was 16. I have kept all my gear I bought over the years and believe it or not today I'm working on setting up everything I retired since I went rack mount in 1994. I only have 2 guitars and ESP that I just got.(Given to me by a friend) And then there's my baby! I knew instantly this was the one. I bought it in 1994. I was playing a Kramer before that. It only had 22 frets and even tho I was playing through a Marshall head and 4X12 cab it never had the sound I was looking for. I tried every peddle I could find and even changed the bridge pickup to a Seymour Duncan screamin demon. It was no better. Pick attack was better but it wasn't what I was looking for. I knew it was time for a new guitar. As I walked into Guitar Center one of the associates asked if he could help. I fanned out 20 or so credit cards and said you will regret asking me that. I told him I'm leaving here with a new guitar. Then I said I'll find an amp that sounds like the marshall I already have and you bring me guitars. And boy he did. I played everything they had and nothing was right. Almost giving up he brought me the ugliest painted (Sun Burst) guitar I have ever seen. I'm a metal player I can't imagine being on stage shredding with such an ugly colored guitar. Me on stage shredding with a 60's looking guitar? But it was the one and it's on a custom stand I built years ago I my living room as I write this. So I'm sure your asking what the hell did you buy? A Jackson Fusion. I would like to know if you could change the color of the body. Something that matches the way I play. Dark and Heavy. I apologize for such a long read, but I will not trust just anyone with this job. You build them and their works of art therefore your trusted to repaint my body. Please let me know if this is something your willing to take on. Thanks for the awesome work you do.

If I ever got to the point where I would spent a nice bit of cash on a guitar, I would most definitely get something of this craft, truly amazing what people can do and what such beauty comes out of it.
