I built Heroes to DESTROY the Tier 0 Yugioh Meta... 

Hey, everyone! I made this video because I REALLY like heroes and wanted to put a spotlight on them! I'm not the guy that's been playing Hero consistently every single format, BUT I know a few guys that do and I just wanted to shed some spotlight on a deck that can be REALLY good in the right players hands! So, change whatever you like in the build I showed you, experiment, but more importantly, have fun playing the decks you love! Let me know how Heroes have been going for you! As a dedicated HERO player, its cool to see cali recognizing the deck! The combo portion was a little strange and a interesting deck list. The extra deck I think is spot on how you should be playing it now. And the mention of trinity and acid are worth considering but I run the same extra deck.

The second combo that ends on DPE + Plasma could be done with just fusion Destiny. You don’t need the Vyon

It's even better when you have dark law, destroyer, and plasma out turn 1 with that favorite contact facedown. 😅 appreciate the vid man very informative nice to see other hero players out there

Heros I got to say is very flexible and consistent against several decks and how they stand throughout time is amazing!

the creativity of heroes are all about the situations you are placed in and how well you can adjust and pivot on the fly. I was dealing with a dudes monster that couldn't be destroyed by battle and it was over 3500 attack. My graveyard was *stacked* with multiple heroes so I used Miracle fusion to summon Wake Up your Elemental Hero and used *Eleven* Materials to summon it, giving it a 3300 attack boost and since I used multiple materials, I attacked the monster repeatedly to destroy the guys life points. Heroes, to me, is the most versatile archetype if you know how to get creative with it.

Thanks for the HERO shoutout. Though dark law is cool, we are especially vulnerable to blanket handtraps such as droll. A fun deck to play, but as a HERO main we are still definitely cope, but we are fun cope.

I still don’t play Yugioh but I do know heroes from my childhood. Glad to see they’re still around

It’s unreal how all of the lines you outlined, Dark Law with a pop and draw 2, monster effect negate field, and OTK line, are exactly the same strengths that my saucy Chimera Branded + Darklaw deck has. It can end on mirrorsword effect negation, targeting protection from Coatl, rip a card from hand from Chimera King, Guardian Chimera pop and draw on the opponents turn, and if you happen to draw into Mask Change II, you use the Berfomet that you SS on your opponents DP to go into Dark Law (best used at the activation of a search effect 😂).

Depending on the Starting hand I also use Destiny hero dark angel,if I have liquid soldier or neos in hand i can use cross crusaders effect to add dark angel after sending denier,malicious and dpe (+ wake up for darklaw) to the grave you can summon dark angel to their side of the field this also locks the out of spells like original or seeker if you take snake eyes as an example

Love the format! Would love to see more decks like Raidraptors for example.

I literally just put together heroes as my comfort deck. I’m legitimately frightened.

It's one thing to have powerful cards and combos, but it also has to play through Snake-Eyes' 15 handtraps.

i actually made a some what meta hero deck lst night with all these combos in mind already and holy i am happy u made a video on this cuz im just getting back int o the tgc and i saw how crazy snake eyes is and fire king, i also wasnt to sure if the combos i ahd planned out would actually work but this video answered all muy questions!

as a hero player myself, i like to run destiny hero denier which i search with cross crusader, makes it so you can keep sunrise on the field and get dpe and dark law

Playing 3 emergency call is a massive brick the deck searches enough so you don’t need them

I wish we had three malicious and fusion destiny on Master Duel.

Considering how powerful Snake-Eyes is, I wonder if Heavy Storm or Giant Trunade may make a comeback.

I'm torn between playing HERO or Voiceless Voice for the upcoming box tournament at my locals

Bro sick profile. I was on the verge of quitting yugioh bc I thought that I needed to play fire this format. Heroes are actually my pet deck and didn't know they could be this fire

The thing is... I know heros, I know how to change my playstyle, which combos work, which combos dont, BUT... I've played heros WAY to long... Even though I can follow the new playstyle, It's just too generick for me. I know how to stop a hero player because I was 1 for 4 years. Is there another fusion feck I can play that moves over to synchro, XYZ or even link that won't cost me an arm and a legg????

I’ve been playing this deck for years and I’ve seen a lot of combos with the DPE and Wake Up I’m just surprised that you went into shadow mist. That honestly makes my job easier 😂 this meta has had my profile out of wack now I have some direction and I’m definitely trying this profile

I would also like to see a content creator draw a hand and go from there. Being a hero player, the stars have to align perfectly to see stratos and Faris in hand and not get hand trapped. Heroes are more than just the basic combo everyone shows online. To get into shining neos wingman.

The biggest weakness as well outside of Nibiru or Droll is literally any negate on Vyon's poly search :'^)

Hero’s are also very easily to combine with other archetypes helping with many draws backs heroes have I remember I ran a branded with heroes making a pretty decent deck heroes are based

A good combo to consider; Spell economics + A Hero lives + Ties of the brethren. This will get you three monsters at no life point cost and leave you with your normal summon. If you use a hero lives under spell economics to summon shadow mist, she can grab you mask change, set it to your field and then proceed to play ties of the brethren and target shadow mist, you can deploy vision hero vyon from deck + 1 other level 4 dark warrior hero monster. Resolve both of Vyon's effects to grab polymerization which is kept in hand. Then end your turn, as your opponent draws for their draw phase trigger mask change to turn shadow mist into dark law, this should trigger shadow mist's graveyard effect to add another hero to your hand. If achieved early in a duel this combo should majorly disrupt your opponent and make them re evaluate any ideas of searching cards during their turn most likely resulting in them prematurely ending their turn. Unless they opened with a lightning storm, infinite impermanence, etc.

I want to see you do more duels in real time as far as 1 vs 1 with a worthy opponent to back that up, respectfully

I’m with you on dark law. I’m looking through my collection for some mask change 2 to swap aluber into dark law in branded.

3 emergency call is really unecessary but 2 deniers and 2 fusion destiny... yeah....................

You forgot Primal Being Token

on that first combo just add the liquid to hand or add stratos and ns stratos for liquid. Much rather the draw two

It will get even better when we get access to Winged Kuriboh LV6.

As an experienced hero player i personally do not enjoy E call in the deck. Especially when droll is relavent right now. Speaking of droll there is a way to play around it and still end on a decent board. But of course it depends on the extenders that are drawn. The last time i played heros i used my stratos to search for plasma and if my opponents drolls me i can still end on either plasma+ whatever the extender gets to. Which is either DPE or Dark law. Maybe even all 3 if the hand is cracked.

Thank you for putting a spotlight on HEROs, it’s seriously my favorite deck archetype to play. Will it beat the meta 100% of the time? No, absolutely not. But it does do what heroes are supposed to do: get back up, change the tactic, and try again.

Heroes are just hard to adjust.. one pro says use super poly but nother says dont, one says e-call & nother says dont, some say no mask change and nother says yes, some say triple tactics lightning storm & tis and tat and nother says no its wrong.. heroes are sensitive i feel.. but def 100%ly agree on those droplets

I dont have the money to run heros but i love heros regardless, seeing someone put this much effort into a heros deck, beautiful, COOK HEROS COOK

Infernal Contact is not the card name that does sound cool though

my buddy plays this exact deck and by the end of our game he couldn't get thru my mekk knight crusadia avramax (in a kuriboh deck lol)

PSA! Don't forget if you fuse in Infernal Wingman using Liquid Solider to Chain link 1 Liquid Solider in the grave Chain link 2 Infernal Wingman to add a Favorite Card(usually Favorite Contact) and Liquid Solider to Draw 2.

I love hero’s so much, my very first ever deck was hero’s back in the day and I’m still playing here and there today Just curious, What made hero’s come back though? They never really left the meta but Both Cali and Team Six Sam are bringing hero deck list out as if they’re a new deck 😅 as if no one has ever seen Hero’s before

I'm just getting back into Yu-Gi-Oh after around 20 years and my gosh this looks fun but my pockets hurt just thinking about 3 copies of TT Thrust

I like the list. But if you have a hero lives in hand go straight into shadow mist if you dont get hand trapped. Instant dark law. And if you do and have talents in hand rip a card from your opponent.Yes shadow mist can only use 1 effect per turn. But you can still go crazy end board. I also run aqua neos going first. To summon in off infernal rage. If dark law is on field and you pop an opponents card in hand risky but can be worth it if you hit the right card. I also run 2 e call and two wonder driver. If dpe doesnt get banished by anything but driver gets hit i can still reset cards.

I’m legit building this deck right now so I’m hyped

Bro, instead of 2 denier, play 1 Destiny hero decider. Gets you a hero back during end phase blocks effect damage.

Heroes can beat any deck...but in todays game it's who goes first mostly wins...
