Back in the day as an investigator occasionally I had some odd cases. This one was quite different. It involved the police going undercover in full costume mode. As it turned out the criminals were pretty good at changing their identities as well.

My name is Brian but everyone calls me Greeny. I retired in January of 2020 after working 30 years in Law Enforcement. I wanted to retire young enough to be able to do some of the things I always dreamed about! I knew I wanted to travel extensively and retire somewhere warm and exotic I sampled a ton of places in the Caribbean, Panama, Colombia, Turkey but set my sights on Thailand.

Greeny , I’m a retired firefighter, one of the funniest stories I can remember … we ran the ambulance out of our station , we got a call for a possible dead body ( neighbor called, mail was piling up, horrible smell coming from the home ) so we force entry into the house , and sure enough the neighbor was right , the man must have been there for days and yes the smell was horrific, so one of our rookies who had only been on the job for about a week was gagging so I told him to go get the Vicks out of the ambulance ( Vicks vapor rub ) , so he runs out and gets it and runs back in and goes to hand it to me , so I said “ No, for you “,… and he looked at me with a very confused look on his face so I said “ for under the nose “..he opens the lid ,takes out a small scoop with his finger and reaches over and rubs it under the dead guys nose

@@GreenyTravels Sort of reminds me of when I got a call out of the blue from the U.S. Secret Service, in Miami, Florida. Turns out they had my wallet. So, had to drive out to their field office. Yea, there were some charges that make you just shake your head. Paying their utility bill with my credit card, and new cell phone and new service, wiring money to the Bahamas, etc.

Those were different days. Nowadays, in California it seems very difficult to press charges on perps. The other thing is that legal corruption is far greater than these small time criminals. The federal reserve just prints money and disperses often to the right people, governments contracts are not based on merit any longer, payoffs to foreign agents, abuse is all around. Over 2 trillion of debt is added each year to the national debt. That is 15,000 dollars per working adult. You tried doing the right thing. The world is what it is. Thanks for the video!

I don’t know about it being a free for all in California. People using the term “California” when talking about anything is just misinformation. The state is massive and has many different jurisdiction’s. My Texas friends, and east coast friends who happen to be republicans, can’t argue a single issue without saying “you’re from California” as some sort of a weird slam dunk. 99% of the time, they talk about crime, or school test scores or anything, you compare the places these republican friends live to my California and my place is safer and better. I live in OC California, before you say its a republican county, its now 50/50 dem, republican. I like that mix. It’s how our country works best. I live 8 miles from THE Disneyland, and 8 miles directly inland from Huntington beach’s beach. There’s very little crime that an average citizen witnesses or is connected to. The temps range from 65f to 75f although in. The summer it gets in the 80s. No snow, and like 20 days of rain. No fires, closest one would be 50 miles away although there was one in Laguna which is 25 miles away in my lifetime and I’m 61. This past Xmas it was in the 70s and my buddy drove 2 hours and went snowboarding. I’m 45 minutes to an hour and a half in a car to LAX, but 15 minutes to long beach airport, or John Wayne Airport. If you want to find a bad place you can find one anywhere, including when I was a kid. I challenge anyone to find a safer place where you can ride a bicycle in any direction than from my house. Or a place with better weather year round to do outdoor activities. There’s no place. Including Thailand. I just spent 33 days here, and we went to Ubon, Chiangmai, Phuket, Rayong, Pattaya, Bangkok, and many places near and in between. This trip was #31 since 2002. No place like Orange county. There are a few exceptions. It’s cheap here. (Thailand)Women, are so much better, and I’m not talking about freelancers, and I’m not suggesting they’re submissive. If you think Thai women are sub… Big LOL! They are partners. At least that’s what my wife is. Food… The food here is so inexpensive, and great. Of course that’s a big plus. Come to OC and get the app DoorDash. lol So many options and it goes to like 3 am. I live in Westminster, half of little Saigon is 3 miles away, the other half is Gardengrove. Little Cambodia is a 12 minute drive in long beach and China and Thai town is in LA. There are 20 of any kind of restaurants in every city. Between my place and the beach? Holy shit there are a lot of choices. Good ones. I find that when people get old, they turn into whiners about the place they grew up in. They start hating people, they start forgetting about how their grandparents talked about their parents generation and they start thinking what’s happening now is special. The at “kids these days” are bad, and missing out on what you had….lol I’ll get real with you. I can get on the famous”405” and drive north to the Wilmington exit and turn right. It won’t take long before I start getting scared because it gets bad. Guess what, it’s been bad for years and years. Same for some places in Compton. Newsome didn’t start that. (Not a fan of him fyi) Yes, Thailand is cheaper. If you look at it under the same microscope as your politically motivated microscope you use when looking at California, if you are honest, Thailand doesn’t look better. I will say, living in the Bay Area, its not near as good as OC. Not close. My stepdad was born there and we visited often. It’s ok for a weekend. And yes, we went 2 times last year, my wife’s Asian, we gotta go look at the GG bridge…lol

@@GreenyTravels Greeny, I ranted a bit. I have a lot of Detroit friends since I raced on skates for 20 years one of my best friends just drove there from Florida for a few weeks of work. Southern California has many Michigan transplants. You need only go to a Kings game and see the entire staples Center filled with red jerseys to realise that. They are all from Michigan, they moved to California to get away from the cold in the winter and the humidity in the summer. The redwings is the only thing they loved about Detroit. They buy the tickets a year in advance.

Now the funny stories are bombarding my brain ,Greeny, I don’t know if you were ever on a call with a woman who was having a baby that never even knew she was pregnant ,but I witnessed it first hand ,…we got a call from a frantic husband one night that his wife was in the bathroom screaming with the door locked and he couldn’t get in ,.. and he could hear a baby crying, so we fly down there and force the door open and there she was sitting on the toilet with a horrified look on her face holding a baby in her arms ,… after we did a quick assessment of the baby and everything looked fine , and before we attempted to move the woman and her baby with the umbilical cord still attached from the toilet to the stretcher,…. in an attempt to lighten the frantic mood in the air Frankie says “ so did the little bungee jumper hit the water “, she kinda smirked but didn’t think it was funny , then he says “so what are you gonna name him “ and the woman says “ I don’t know , I didn’t even know I was pregnant “,.. so Frankie says “ why don’t you name him after me …. Frankie “ the woman looked at me and Jack and said “ what about your two partners “,.. so Frankie points at me and Jack one after the other and says “ his name is Frankie , and his name is Frankie “

Keep it up. When I first started watching your channel, it seemed like you were reluctant to say that you were a retired policeman. I’m a retired firefighter/paramedic from California, also living in Thailand. I’m sure it was the same where you worked, we bantered between being a fireman or a cop , but in the end we were all public servants that enjoyed our jobs. So love watching your channel, so talk more stories I’ll keep watching.

I am an EMT in Spain and all days I work with the police in diferents situations (and Spain it’s a very quite country in crimes) The people don’t know how is your work in risk every day and how you can hold all the insults at any moment For work in emergencies or police you need to “have it” or you are dead in your mind everyday, it’s other kind of people to work in (sorry for my bad English ;)

This is a potential violation of the Fourth Amendment. Specifically, the anticipatory search warrant used requires that an FBI agent be present to ensure the warrant is executed in the correct jurisdiction. There is no mention of an FBI agent's presence during the execution of the search warrant. The absence of an FBI agent could violate the individual's Fourth Amendment rights.

I will say, hot tip, if you have a problem early with one of them, return it for a new one. I have a customer who insists on paying for the highest level of support. He had 3 printers so I bought 3 computers for him using his account. He had me do an update on two of the printers, then took about 3 months or so before I installed the last one. Then of course that one had issues. A lot of them. Couldn’t just return it till we wasted many hours with their techs trying to make it work. I’m not complaining because it made me about $5k because I charge the guy a grand per service call, and everytime they reloaded an operating system on the computer, I had to come re install the specific software to his $400k printer….lol. Still, it was frustrating… haha.
