FYI They trigger after each other :) So first, the dagger will slice your third joker. After that, Madness tries to kill one joker, but all available jokers (only the dagger) are not destroyable. In this case, the madness gets the mult without destroying anything :D
more accurately madness doesnt "eat" jokers to gain xmult instead it has 2 distinct effects which are when the blind is selected it gains .5 xmult and then destroys a random joker so in acuality even if you have just the madness and no other jokers the madness will still gain xmult. so in this case the dagger will destroy the center joker as its effect intends and then madness will trigger its xmult effect as the blind is selected and of course like you mentioned the dagger cant be destroyed because of the eternal sticker
If you don't want the dagger to eat a joker, you can move it to the left of the dagger. It's not pinned in the first spot, it's just pinned in the sense that you can't sell it. Good to know they synergize though
