Yea I discovered this after dying and my spartan landing on top of the cabinet in the arcade on Streets in multiplayer, where I heard the Halo theme chiptune playing. Promptly went into a custom game and listened to it haha
@@benjaminrojas6880 i havent been following it closely, but im pretty sure he was winning and all then suddenly decides to upload one of the albums in question "Music of the Spheres" to his own youtube channel.
@@benjaminrojas6880 they made him take down more than 50 youtube videos and made him put out a PSA on the insight of the music he made for halo..... all the old video clips of halo 1 and 2 are gone. they made him get rid of everything.
I found this Easter egg and I just stood in the doorway for a few seconds before screenshoting it, I love the Easter eggs in the game out of what I found so far
Interestingly enough, I hear the development was actually pretty nightmarish. Lots of factionalism on how the game should be made, and the teams were a revolving door of contractors. As I understand it, this was so Microsoft could legally have full time employees, without treating them like full time employees in pay and benefits.
@@DanielSan1776 it’s already a song, you are able hear it on the truth and reconciliation mission in Halo CE and other missions across the halo franchise. Great song actually
Truly, today's kids don't know about the pure, insanely awesome moments of gaming just over a decade back. To them, fortnite and the yearly COD seem to be their version of our Reach and Halo 3
@@themoralcompass4185 Yeah i did actually back when you weren't born and it was out on PC beta. Halo 1's warthog run is good but not the one that established the feeling of being a Spartan to many generations.
@@henryofskalitz4879 So you played it on PC a few years after it was actually first released, on a platform where it was buggy and relatively poorly received? Why are you proud of that and talking down to someone over it? Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather play Halo (or just about anything) on PC now, but back then Halo was really only good on Xbox
Holy sh*t. I’ve noticed the arcade cabinet but i didn’t stop to listen to the chip tune music, let alone so many different tracks. This is insanely awesome.
@@creativename3707 If we aren't okay with P2W nonsense, I don't understand why we're okay getting price gouged and allowing personalization of our characters to be taken away from us. Granted yea the gameplay is great and that's ultimately what should matter, but why can't we have both without big gaming companies trying to screw us?
I would like it if the arcade game was actually a playable (but simple) '90s fps, warthog run, halo-themed pong or something. You would earn tokens for your score. Collect enough tokens and you get a skull or something. Maybe overthinking, but it would be a fun easter egg alongside these sweet 8-bit tracks.
Whenever I play Infinite's campaign, and the soundtrack starts hitting the right beats at right times, it makes me cry to watch how Halo has grown over the year's. This arcade Easter egg also makes me cry.
I found this as the very last thing I did last night and fell asleep listening to all the different tracks, 343 has done incredible work with the Halo Infinite campaign 🙏🏼
I have custody of my kids this week so I can't play Halo because they play my Xbox all week but definitely next week I'ma take advantage. Life of a 30 year old 😩❤️
I'm amazed people are only just noticing from the campaign. Streets has the same arcade machines. I think the song changes every time you load the map too. That, or with time.
@@tree4318 Pre-covid, but there's an arcade 20 mins from where I live, in a walk-in mall center. I live in a small town, so "next town over". That's the last time I seen one. Also Niagara Falls has a tonne of arcade machines since I used to live there about 15 years ago. That doesn't really count though because that a global tourism hotspot. I seen an SF2 arcade machine at a bar once too, but that was 20 years ago. One guy I know collects acrade cabinets in his garage, I never went in to see but from the road he has like 4-5. That was 3 years ago when I was working a pre-covid job with the public. (Don't really get out anymore since I work from home) They're a novelty and a collectors item. Same think can apply in-game hundreds of years from now.
Spoilers No what I can’t believe is we’re left with so many questions for the next 10 fricken years and we never heard a word from lasky Palmer blue team Osiris red team or even the arbiter besides dialogue :( I can’t wait 10 years this campaign was too good it should’ve been longer
Omg 8 bit Halo music is fkn awesome I love this so much I wish you could play an 8 bit worthog run now Actually they should do a quick run thru of all three games with even some tex dialogue And even a score counter. Get a high enough score to unlock 8 bit theme charms and skins.
Didn't they do something like this in Doom Eternal? I seem to remember a computer monitor on the Fortress of Doom that said it couldn't connect to the Steam network services.
This is awsome 😍 love that they made a whole arcade game of halo and put in in the mp had no idea there was another in campaign 😀 where about is this located mate?
When you get done with the first boss and actually step outside on the ring its tucked away in the back corner of the first huge base you take if you just go over the whole area youll find it its inside a forerunner door
@@armitage27 its like kinda by there its outside and the door is in a darker area its not super hidden but its not that noticeable either i can remember the layout of the area on the top of my head i know its just in the back left of the area
The only classic thing that is missing is the iconic Blow Me Away by Breaking Benjamin. I had incredibly high hopes that he'd come back for 1 more song.
