Congratulations with the new piece. I like it’s simplicity and it’s an excellent alternative to the T T DJ. I didn’t even notice you were loosing any hair. Good luck 😉
Nice watch and I love the simplified rotating bezel! That said, I don't know WHY they call this a Navitimer. It's so far off the ranch from the Navitimer, it's really something else entirely. This is a nice enough watch that I guess it really doesn't matter.
Lovely watch, so similar to my Longines Spirit in Titanium, but mine's without a date. Regarding the hair transplant, sorry to hear you had a horrendous outcome. My best friend has done it lately in Turkey and has been blown away by the level of care and detail regarding the whole procedure. Months later, his hair grown a lot, and he's still before his second operation. Takes time and patience, but I believe you'll be happy with the results! Only the brave! cheers
Excellent choice, Andrew. I really dig it. A very mature pick, IMHO. Very classic, classy, and simple. I've recently, come into this trend myself. An "Explorer trend," if you will. There's something very freeing, about a classic, time only, "under the radar piece"..... such as this. A piece that's about "you, and the watch, only." As apposed to "you, the rest of the world, and the watch." If you get what I mean?? I'm a bracelet guy, and I know other bracelet guys, that highly recommend this bracelet. I cannot speak from experience. but I must admit, I am curious. The "DJ," I can totally understand, as well. I've recently experienced my first, "Oyster-clasp," and what a piece of simple, yet highly effective engineering. I tend to believe that sentiment, describes Rolex, really quite well, actually. Even w/ all the hype surrounding them, as a brand, I see them as, just a simple watch company, who make some of the most solid offerings, on the market. IMHO, some of their simplest ranges, are truly some of their best offerings. The "OP" range, the "Explorer" range, the "Date-just," the "Air King," ect....all simple, yet solid, and (generally speaking) timeless designs. I also, give you a lot of credit, for sharing about your experience as well. An arduous journey, to say the least, but highly worth it, in the long-run. An investment in yourself. The quality of your own life. Good for you mate. Hang in there. As usual, thanks for sharing the updates. So many of us, really enjoy your genuine appreciation for watches. Sounds silly, but not so common these days. What w/ all the "going-on's" of the watch world. Here's wishing you, all the best.....
That's a cool looking watch. Perfect tool watch and perfect for the scenarios you described. It's an expensive "beater watch" :). Best of luck with it.
Haha I’ve rarely seen anyone so unexcited about a new 3k watch. It’s a nice one though mate and at that price you’ll get your money mostly back in 6 months time 😂. I’m sure it’s a relief now to have the money spent though - enjoy them.
Your Brave Andrew , very brave look forward to the hair product reviews LOL Great collection you have & your taste is what speaks to you & what you ! ! ! Enjoy matey
Haha! i'm glad i watched all the way to the end! I never noticed any hair loss either! Just looking at the Breiting on the desk etc, didn't seem to make an impression on me, but seeing it on your wrist it looks fantastic. The case shape and the simple, but very elegant dial. Great choice...as Oris says, "Go Your Own Way", so glad you bought one you wanted and not what IG wants you to own. I've got one on the way that's gonna be a total flop there, but i don't care!
Cheers mate,,, I thought no point trying to hide it for months, just get on with it 💇♂️ 🤣 - I've loved the look of the Breitling for ages now, glad o took the slight gamble
Good on you Andrew. I love the simplicity of that one. Not that I don’t like the business of a chrono Navitimer… I haven’t got a Breitling, perhaps someday.
It’s a great watch Andrew. I own one with a blue dial and white indices. It’s a Breitling for people with small wrists and also it’s very understated and basic for a better word but that’s what I like. Doesn’t shout look at me when you are wearing it. You should also check out the black dlc version in 41mm or the chrono in 43mm. Lovely pieces
Great everyday day watch just love the simplicity of it mate think you Will enjoy it as much as Yr rolly for different reasons.. Can't fault you with the hair as well why not ..👍👍👍
Congratulations Andrew! Love the Breitling and for the money it’s a no brainer, so you’ve got a tool watch for everyday and you can always look forward for a bit class, Rolex TT 👍
Very clean dial. Breitling make some really great watches. Only problem is they can be quite bulky . Often thought of the navitimer . Hope no problems with this one .
Congratulations its a Stunning watch mate, one that can do it all :) i got my PloProf from Ernest jones recently ex display with only one year guarantee, but these things are built to last so will be grand… you got a great deal there!!! I look forward to the insta shots :)
Can’t say I’m a fan of the breitling but within that price bracket and coupled with the watches you have/have owned already, it’s something different and it obviously spoke to you 👍🏻…..I like some of the superocean models, the premier chronograph is another…..one of my work colleagues owns the B01 navitimer and as iconic as they are, I don’t like the look of it on bracelet, it’s a leather strap watch all day long…..
I like Breitling, use to own a seawolf, but I'm not sure on the B-01 movement, don't seem to have any antimagnetic properties is that true ????????????
The watches are nice looking....however, 4 or 5 years down the road all my Breitling watches are junk. None keeps good time. I have an Omega Seamaster for almost 4 years......never an issue and keeps great time.
I'm interested in a Superocean (42mm white dial) but I just can't ever buy one, even used. I don't think they compete well with value for money. You've got Tudor and Grand Seiko's, for example, and others, in roughly the same $3-5K price range. Even a little more for them over a Breitling is worth it for the better movements, fit and finish imo.
Yeah I know what you are saying for sure,,, I have tried a lot of the other stuff in this range already so my choices were limited - that's not to say the Navitimer8 is a compromise, it's a great watch in my eyes
Bl👀dy hell Andrew, 2 out of 2 duds ?? I've just bought a Superocean Heritage 42 with a green dial. I gave it a couple of weeks then sent it back as it was running 12 seconds fast. It'll probably be back in Switzerland now. Have Breitling got a problem with quality ? It has a Tudor movement and the 2 Tudors I have are both cock on so I thought it would have the same quality. That's a nicely understated watch you've bought by the way👍
I don’t recall seeing this model in my local AD, but looks fantastic. However, I would have shaved my hair and put the £2k towards this or another watch. I prefer to look at my watch rather than myself in the mirror and I don’t care what people think.
@@watchandrew you might have looked I’ll, but at least you would have had a sick new watch! Perhaps you should do a video about what watches you could have purchased had you not been so vane.
Try on the Hamilton khaki King i purchased a few months ago haven't took it off almost a perfect watch, I own few tudors breitling and omega haven't even been looked at! i may sell em and keep the hammy.. Similar feel to the breitling
Guess I must be in the minority then as I really love it. Much more than your other new one in fact, perhaps it’s more my style. Yeah love that bracelet and strangely that pretty plain bezel plus it’s thin too (always helps for comfort). What a steal for the money as well. Massive congratulations mate. 🍾🥂The hair looks like an ongoing project though, bet that chuffing hurt! 😕
Mate, did you even need a transplant?! Looks like you had a great head of hair. In any case if you feel better, money well spent.... Personally I'd rather be a cue ball with more money to spend on watches!
Is the new tag heuer carrera calibre 5 blue better than this or not ? And what is model number and name of this watch. And plz try grand seiko sbga211.
