For real.. I'm on the fence about it. I thought I was a hard no but my biggest gripe about 2042 was actually the complete lack of hit reg. Shit maps, and all the operators/gadgets are up there. Might try it out with the battlefield homies, who knows.
@@Jediwolf75 i mean if memes come and go then the yes meme wouldnt be used anymore just like many other old memes, so yeah people need to get with the times instead of relying on old not funny stuff, the yes meme is still pretty new since it gained popularity during plandemic of covid. i personally found the yes meme to be stupid.
not gonna happen, people will play it either way... it's meant to be a futuristic game after all. If it's better than 2042 and MWIII it will do well, and it's free. Can't be beggars in such a case.
@@msum23just because it’s free doesn’t mean it costs nothing. Our time is valuable, and a good experience isn’t a bad thing to ask for. And yes, beggars can be choosers in this instance, because if the game does not offer what is asked or desired for, then back to the status quo of COD & Battlefield we will go. The game looks great though, and I will likely be spending a decent chunk of my time with it.
This! BC2, BF3, and BF4 were peak Battlefield. Now that BF3 and BF4 servers are to be shut down the only option remaining.are these arcady hero shooters or full milsim like Squad/Arma.
because you can still battlefield 4. Lets be honest, doing the same thing over and over again with just better graphics is gonna achieve the same results. People will just go (This is just BF4, scam!)
I’d be glad if this game simply takes over battlefield. Honestly I don’t trust that dice will make a good game again if 2042 was anything to go by. Like it’s insane they released something so shit that battlebit has better NetCode, fluidity and gameplay.
Samsung is an older company than Apple. Does this mean that Apple has copied Samsung's phones ? Tell me in which episode can I find dammage points stacking up and a skull showing up once I've killed an ennemy ? In which episode the exat same menu as in Battlefield 2042 ? The same HUD ?
@@hootangofi the company who made this game did work for COD mobile so it would explain why sounds and animations look similar, most likely reusing some of the assets
@@dylankelly6189 they were using animations from cod as place holders but recently they've updated them to their own. You've got to remember that this is the pre alpha
Because it quite literally is from MWII... Up until recently, they even had reload animations that were straight up ported from MW2019 and MWII, they only recently made their own animations but by the looks of it, the sprinting and firing animations are still from MWII. Now these are in fact CoD developers who made CoD Mobile so they most likely had access to all sorts of CoD assets.

Even has a better atmosphere, almost more realistic and gritty-looking compared to BF2042's plastic, pristine look. And it's free, and it has a campaign! I just hope this gives DICE a kick in the * and they realize we want a complete game if we're going to spend $70.
Delta Force even has Ammo & Health Stations scattered across per flags unlike 2042, which DICE can't even add and also have 40+ weapons that is still in the pre-alpha unlike 2042's 22+ weapon at launch...
I don't think this game (HAWK OPS) is gonna be successful unless they change it. Too many people already calling it a 2042 clone/knockoff, and that's gonna put a lot of weight on its reputation. I think Tencent is second to none when it comes to developing mobile shooters (though their games are not very controller friendly to say the least), and Arena Breakout Infinite looks good, even though I haven't played it because it's only on PC RN, but I don't know what they were thinking with this one......
@spartan_a1176 ehh battlefield 3,4 and 1 were definitely full arcade...squads not arcade armas not arcade and battlefield is nothing like them lol it's always been a casual arcade combined arms game

Hyped. If our own companies refuse to give us what we want, foreign developers have a massive opportunity to sweep in and dominate the field. I wish them luck.
omg delta force was the og back in the days dude you couldve just looked it you its actually a remake of the orignial delta force hawk ops from early 90s and 2000s
People are criminally under looking the Tarkov like gunsmith. The fact that we have a high level gunsmith in a bf like game is insane. Not even CODs can match it
Give me weather effects, more physics and destruction; with a good update timeline coming with weapons, vehicles, maps and more features. I'm all in. we'll see.
I think the biggest positive a Free to Play Battlefield Clone has that if its successfull it will have many years of support and content unlike battlefield and call of duty which ususally only gets 1-2 years support even if its sucessfull.
@@jgsource552in all honesty people didn't wanted to play it so DICE just cutted the support. For the first time it was fans mistake. Also game was hated until later when it became popular. What a joke of community. They hated the game literally despised it in beginning and then it became the most played battlefield.
@@rokos.1239 well no one asked them to turn their depiction of ww2 into a screaming woman simulator with modern weapon attachments (because God forbid some zoomer needs to use traditional gun sights to aim)
For a minute there I thought Novalogic came back with a new version of Delta Force: Land Warrior. Played that before BF1942 but '42 changed the landscape with all the vehicles.
Honestly from playing the closed alpha myself I’ve enjoyed it a fair bit! There’s some toning that needs to do but aside from that it’s honestly been a blast
At least they nailed the small implementations - Health bars in deployment screen, leaning, clear sights on guns. These are only a few but simple additions that 2042 didnt have on launch and may not even have now
Just a note, it does feature dynamic destruction, big explosions can blow up holes in walls. Watching Jakfrag's video at one point a tank blew up a hole on the warehouse he was in, and it even destroyed a part of the ceiling. Also it was showcased in a devlog video I think.
Imo, battlefield has no right to claim an entire subgenre of fps. Like yea all of those are similar, but thode are just things that make this kind of shooter work
@@stormdivision617 They talking cause its like the same game. I personally hated 2042 because it just didn’t even feel like a battlefield. This game just copies 2042 so its really just the same thing.
The one distinction of all the similarities is that DFHO has it in the game even in pre alpha phase, while BF2042 had to patch many of these features after launch of the game ([scoreboard, marksman kill bonus, squad management] AAA studio vs third party devs --- SMH pretty sad)
I'm sorry, but both turrets at 4:30 look nothing alike, you're stretching the truth here... (unless you're talking about mechanics, but you said 'looks' not 'works') Apart that, the rest seems more fair. To be fair, a free, decent BF clone still sounds not bad, considering how recent BF games are approached. Personally I am more interested in the extraction mode, not those 20v20 games or whatever.
Okay, but that weapon stat menu breakdown makes me salivate. It even has a recoil/shot placement chart that seems like it updates with attachments. Why is that much detail not standard across all of these games?
He yapped for 10 mins about how delta is just ripping off battlefield, but didn't said about the actual "innovative elements" delta has over Battlefield. >Better classes equipment and better balanced example - the medic can heal multiple players at once, not just 1 with a few shots. >Delta has a Extraction mode which is designed and made well, its close to MWZ quality if not better lmao >Better maps design compared to 2042, yes its less maps, only like 2 , but theyre good to play in and they are so beautiful and the gameplay on them feels good Quality over quantity. >Delta has a strong gunsmith customisation that is very close to what we have in MW3 Many weapons at launch, many attachments and good level progression on the weapons with good awards such as better attachments Battlefield 2042 had 2 guns at the launch lmao and theres like 4 attachments in the whole game, thats wild And also explain how delta has in an alpha state more weapons than 2042 does after being finished ☠️ Overall Delta force might be a copy paste, but a good one They added the battlefield elements, made them better, added some good UI design, improved the maps and here we go, a perfect Battlefield Formula everyone wants oh also lol, delta is free, i think its enough for this to rip on battlefield
One of my favorite features of Delta Force is the "share loadout" option. It will give you a code, which your friend then can import, and it will automatically equip all the attachments. (If they're unlocked)

@@thelittledetailscr7231it doesn't matter where on the planet their base is. EA will sue them if they don't make changes. I thought this was BF 2042 first time I saw some gameplay, the similarities can't be denied by anyone at this point.
@@bjarnisThere is a reason that counterfeit items is so popular in China... The companies in China steal intellectual property all the time and they face no consequences.
@bjarnis Not true. Why don't the gun manufacturers sue Tarkov for using the real gun names without permission then? They can't. Battlestate is in Russia.
I think it's funny.People are supporting this game. But yet they despise battlefield 2042. It's clear people don't care about gameplay. They just want to hate battlefield. If battlefield had a different name, people would love it. This is proof.
When a game is made to look as realistic as possible then there’s no real artistic design, it’s just realistic design. So anyone else that decides to make a realistic shooter will end up looking and playing very similarly. BF is not an artistic game and doesn’t do anything to stand out visually, which is fine but other games will be similar by nature.
Bro is trying so hard to get EA to watch his video so they can sue the developers or something he said the word "copy" around 43 times like daaaamn bro chill let the game be
8:37 I'm pretty sure there was a portion of Jack's video where destruction was seen. But it clearly was not as common as it is in most Battlefield games.
yes there is a bit of destruction on the maps but as you say it's not comparable to the old Battlefields. I would put it more on the level of Bf2042. You can break a few walls here and there, but the big basic structures can't be changed unfortunately. But that could also be due to the two maps. One is a relatively small map of a city in the desert, where it would be rather bad if you could destroy all the buildings. The other map has the feel of Iwo Jima from Battlefield V, but in a modern setting. Admittedly, there was already very little to hardly any destruction in BfV's Imo Jima.
I'm excited. This game looks fun. so far it looks like what a successful 2042 would look like. And besides, if this game actually does end up being real competition for battlefield, then thats only good for us as players. DICE would then realize that they need to step up their game to keep their players. Lets just hope for the best.
You forgot a few things: 1. It has a Story Campaign 2. It has a "Tarkov" Style Game mode 3. It has a Scoreboard that you don't have to wait 2 years to get fixed 4. UE5 is an incredible Engine if not the best engine ever created. They can take this game to insane levels if they want to 5. It doesn't look like a meta fest. All guns actually feel viable I could go on but i think i made my point.
yes and no, battlefield 1 was a masterpiece but out of all the battlefields i played BF4 the most and for good reason, that game is by far the best BF game to date.
@ 1:25 I hope they improve their reload system to have really good tiered reloads. He starts a reload then, ejecting the magazine, then climbs something that interrupts his reload and then goes back to reloading. When the reload starts again the mag gets ejected again. Hopefully we will have a good tiered reload system.
Copying or not, i haven't been this excited for a new FPS ever since BF1. Even with the gadgets bs, they still seem more fun to use than 2042. And the whole game and operators still have a military aesthetic.
In my opinion, it seems they are focusing more on making a functional game rather than being innovative. I've seen many people complain and wish for Battlefield to return to its roots for years now. Hopefully, EA wakes up, and the next Battlefield doesn't fizzle out immediately.
If EA wants battlefield to stay relevant they really need to nail the next title. They also really need to mitigate people choosing to play this, they should consider making 2042 free to play. Maybe give anyone who bought it getting all cosmetics and a 20% discount on the next title.
I like how whenever there's a "Battlefield killer" or "rival" game, it ended up failing or being dead, and those games are: WW3 back in 2022 Battlebit Remastered back in 2023 Which those games at those point are already forgotten or dead.
Nice. Since EA has forgotten what this franchise is about its nice to see another developer take up the blue print I love and enjoyed. I bought 2042 for 12€ in a steam sale and refunded it. I am an assault player / medic and nearly all my teammates where grey old women... including me.
Good. People wanted a better Battlefield game not made by DICE. And we all know EA is never going to sell the rights, so here is the next best option for Battlefield fans.
I wish we had a game that’s part battlefield and part squad that’s a huge market right there !! And no company takes advantage of it cause they rather pursue ideas that are burnt out !
What are you even on about lol. 'Looking similar' means jack and wont stand in court as it doesn't feature any trademarked characters. Design similarities is actually deliberate and a good thing cos that makes a new game easier to get into. RU-vidrs gotta cook up drama outta nothing huh
They copied 2042 and mw. But 2042 isn't even real BF game, so let them have fun. Although I'm yet to see any f2p rip off from China that didn't failed bc of mtx. And for the love of god will people stop saying "this is what 2042 should've been". No, no it isn't! 2042 should've been classic BF, without fucking operators, abilities, weird call ins etc. Both 2042 and DF are awful as BF games
@@totalguardian1436 Where did I, or any of the veteran players for that matter, said BF5 was good BF game? Even BF1, which is maybe the best casual mp fps of 2010's, falls short for classic BF game.
@@totalguardian1436 Many BF fans are BF1 rookies. Which was the whole point for dice. Dumb down a game a little to bring more players. BF 5 is a good solid game on its own. BF 1 is great game on its own. But as a pure BF game they both fall short. I agree they are both miles ahead of 2042 as games and I would even argue as BF games. But that isn't saying much since 2042 is one of the worst mp fps games made in the last 15+yrs. But that doesn't mean 2042 should have been like DF, or even BF1 and 5. It should have been classic BF game, for long standing fans who were with a franchise since early beginnings, long before BF1. So called love letter, as dice called it.
It’s the weapon customisation that’s really interesting for me. Hopefully the next DICE bf game can take inspiration from this, since Battlefield has “inspired” basically everything else the game has to offer
Do people around you know you just now heard the name Delta Force?! Do you have any friends (to set you straight when you' dumb)?! I bet you're fun at parties (with ideas such as these)!
quite frankly, this game is just a perfect combination of the things I loved about battlefield, without leaning so hard into any particular ones inspiration. the game has gameplay like 2042, weapon stats like battlefield 4. maps that remind me of some battlefield 3 maps. free to play, intense weapon customization. and the entire groundwork of 2042, existing in an alpha, if im honest, this is how 2042 should have looked and played on release. if it did, we wouldnt be here talking about this game, and its potential. because if we compare this alpha, to 2042's..... its night and day.
As I absolutely hate Tencent as a company and the disgusting way they copied everything from Battlefield for their game, I feel the same way to EA / DICE on how they neglected the Battlefield franchise far too long. I hope this will be a wake-up call to EA / DICE on making a real Battlefield game and to also start listening to their community on what WE want and not what the investors want.
Its better than 2042. It really is. As long as monetization is cosmetic only, its fun, content is decent/consistent, anti cheat/netcode and performance is solid... yeah its gonna blow TF up, and I'll be playing it myself.
Once again, the old glories of battlefield streamers return to the new battlefield competitor. Hopefully, this Delta Force will get the Battlefield team pumping and working hard to have a great title.
Weird that they'd copy 2042 and not give us more of what battlebit did. However the maps definitely take inspiration from older BF titles, and look much more fun for it. Not to mention the interesting little synergies like when Jack found you can shoot smoke with heals to make a healing cloud for allies. That is actually really cool and I hope there's a lot more of it.
The most shocking thing is that this game is more Battlefield than Battlefield itself. Yeah they copy much, but it's the execution that's better 😎 And most of the features are standard for a game like this. There are only some ways you can make a big military sandbox game like Battlefield.
