It's worth noting that just because a combo is optimal for a specific time trial doesn't mean it will be optimal for an actual race. For example, in a water course, I imagine the landslip or streetle would be the best due to the sum of mini-turbo and water speed being highest. Meanwhile, in an anti-gravity course, something like inkstriker and leaf tires would be best due to the sum of mini-turbo and anti-gravity speed.
the combos in this game are far more closely balanced to each other compared to like mario kart wii. yoshi teddy is probably like 2-4 times better than bowser badwagon, but flamerunner is like 100x better than piranha prowler or jetsetter lol.

To make Excitebike less of a headache using mushrooms to avoid the big air time jumps absolutely saves time, the best item combo you can get on that track is star and golden cause for a whole lap you're blasting through the grass
I actually love when excite bike gets picked. I love the randomness aspect. Ribbon road on the other hand… the demoralisation of consistently missing those block ramp shortcuts 😩

Me and my friend play together in online lobbies as Wario in the Cat Cruiser, Cushion and Flower, because there's something funny about Wario driving in his big gay cat that shits a flower whilst flying. I like that it all got buffed into a good combo because we've been using it for YEARS and now it's actually considered a somewhat decent combo lmao

Actually im pretty sure the koopa kart isnt the bad thing for the combo pretty sure its the tires since if i recall, they have like the same stats as the monster tires cause i thought the koopa kart had a mini turbo stat of 6 and a speed stat of 4 (same as teddy buggy) and i dont think the other stats are that incredibly different
bro i made a combo you need these 4 things Light-Blue Yoshi Mastercycle Zero Ancient Tires Parachute my recommended map for this is mario circuit 3 and hyrule circuit
@@zekehorsman9532 i don't know why anybody would wanna use the pipe frame class because it's worse than the other 4 current meta vehicle classes (in wave 6 the teddy buggy class, inkstriker class & tanooki kart class will likely get an invincibility debuff so if that happens the pipe frame class becomes better)
Strongly dislike bone dry dunes, the beginning section is so over scaled and boring and then in the second half there's two paths but it feels like the bones are the only viable one so I never bother going the other way
I definitely hate excitebike and baby park the most because they are both just a straight line with a turn at the end and they require very little skill. As someone who is good at the game, I hate it when I play online and people who aren’t as good at the game beat me.
Curious why Waluigi Stadium, I personally don’t hate it, but I’d definitely put it on the bottom half of my liked tracks because of it’s weird polish and awkward scaling
I HATE Paris Promenade, Tokyo Blur, and London Loop. Really, there’s very few booster pass courses I like better than the base courses. Something just isn’t right.
100% think excite bike is the worst track in the game with sky high sundae right behind it, baby park is in 3rd even thought it’s the most simple due to it being a classic
