It looks beautiful. I love the color. I have a suggestion where the plants are concerned. If you plan on leaving them on your desk while traveling, get earthquake putty. It’s useful for so many things besides but you can roll a ball of it and stick it to the bottom of each planter to hold it in place and it won’t damage the desk surface. The Home Depot sells it in the hardware department.😊

You give me hope. My wife and I are planning on a schoolie conversion to retire into for traveling, and while I’m not a stranger to tools, all the carpentry, electrical, and plumbing… I’m about as inexperienced as you were. My wife is a software trainer, and will actually continue working in our retirement, but my goal is to make a homey, comfortable work/living space for her, out of a school bus. Your successes, even when, or maybe especially when, they are not perfect, are what give me hope. 😀

I AM SO HAPPY YOU DID FRAM OUT THE SUN ROOF NOW!!!!! Ok, I know it's not a big deal, but I was, for some reason, wanting it done. I'm also really love your crooked kitchen cabinets. I like the color, especially when it goes so well with the counter tops!! It looks so good to me. I like the open shelves and that you have some that aren't. By the way, I have tried to make wooden boxes, and they are crooked. I still am using one of them now. I made it 20 years ago, maybe. One is my husband's, and he still uses it, too. I love the poetry of "crooked in just the right way". Many beautiful things could be described that way. I said something similar of a friend's house in Italy, that kinda grew organically between two buildings. It had really weird angles in places, but I really liked it. What can you even do with that odd little nook in the middle of the staircase? Except putting a chair there and looking out the window. I just loved it. You made so much progress in this one. You got it, Emma!!

What a difference paint did and I am impressed. You could put molding were the walls meet the ceiling and it is great for hiding those tuff cuts.

Here I am watching this 5 days after you posted it. Not that my opinion counts, but I'm impressed. You've turned your bus in to your home. Such a transformation. Each little project your skillset grows and I'm so proud (does that sound weird? Sorry.) I like that you don't do everything all at once. That each week we can come back for more and see the improvements to your home. Remember slow and steady wins the race.

looks great! as for plants, without the added worry of killing them I found that you can find some pretty nice and realistic looking artificial smaller ones at places like homegoods and biglots that I have added to my RV 2 years ago, It gives the warm cozy vibe without the hard work of keeping them alive in a strange environment. best of luck this summer. look forward to seeing your adventures.

First episode I've watched. Your skoolie is shaping up. Your are decent and allow to plunge along with instincts that good. Very much enjoyed watching you work, and chat and hum and sing. A pleasant young lady. You did look tired at the end of the video. It took me many years to learn that when I work tired i makes mistakes and get angry with myself. On days when I can't get started I do little silly things that accomplish something. Add them up and soon you can gen up the inspiration and energy to forge on. I am at its Tony you know I've been watching you all the way from the beginning and I'm so glad that you're finally learning to just do something and get it over with by the way I like to commend you on your work you did a fine job on everything as far as your plan to concern tropical plants don't mind the roots wet but nothing else so if you stick your finger in the soil about an inch-and-a-half and the tip of your finger is wet or moist don't water it sweetie I'm so proud of you that you have accomplished your goal will see you in the next 1 have a good evening and pleasant dreams

The Kitchen is looking so much better now that you have painted all the cabinets and put doors on them, The skylight looks amazing now, the shelves that you have put up in the Kitchen are a welcome addition but they do need painting as well. you don't have to take them down to apply paint as you can put newspaper up and slip it in between the shelves and the windows

That first plant you put on the shelf is a pothos. Very easy plant. Don’t water till she is dry dry and she loves indirect light and she is very forgiving
