There's a big difference between a ghastly Strongbow and a nice Kopparberg or Rekorderlig. Lilley's Mango cider is dangerously more-ish.

My dad's always played in Dixieland and Old School Jazz bands, I found your music through a Facebook repost someone made and it definitely brings me back to the days when I was still an infant forced to attent my dad's mediocre but still rather entertaining concerts. :)

This song is even more hilarious to me because my husband loves beer (he’s a BBQ and Craft beer blogger) and I HATE beer, so I drink ciders instead. I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t drink cider! Love this song! You’re awesome!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Cider kicks your ass. They have roughly the same abv, but cider is much easier to drink a lot of than wine.

I'm fortunate I've never been sick enough to swear off any particular booze. Some ciders are better than others though. If you can find it, try some "Growers" (cider brand name) from British Columbia, Canada. Very refreshing.

I got given a free cider..... the same weekend we got a skip bin...... hadn' drunk for a long while, thought it best I didn't tempt fate..... 4 hat fizzy lifting drink is skull able ...... till it's not! Apple juice can take you a sip too far!!! It was home brew too... missed out! If your gunna a get 12 sheets to the wind, cider is a goodn'......

Do you have one called, "Tequilla makes my throat close"? Maybe not, it's awful hard to rhyme 'esophagus' or 'dry heaves'... Doo do doo do... I woke up somewhere else. I woke up by myself, until I looked around and I was not. I knew not where I was, I knew the problem was I do not drink tequila - but I forgot. Chorus: Oh I can't even say it, or the back of my throat will close. I can't even smell it, even my nose knows. My stomach now is churning, even if you don't believe, let's change the blood subject before I start to heave. (Insert unpleasant noise.) ... maybe we've got something here? It could wrap up with the phrase, 'Jose PTSD'.

ah I remember MadDog 20/20 ... ...well except for that ONE night... I was at the urban street drag racing when call came out cops were on the way, so had to get rid of the booze fast. I took a big swig, my friend took one, I took a 2second swig, and passed the bottle to my friend, and boom it was gone. Next thing I know I'm puking in a bathroom stall, I walk out and whoah where did those fancy pillars come from? What fancy hotel is that?? Next memory is in the front yard to my house, next thing I know I'm waking up in my bedroom. I "intelligently" ask :"how did I get here?" My friend, also hung over, poke her head out from the blanket: "You crawled" that was the last time I chugged MadDog. Besides, I prefer Rum & Coke

I've drank whole handles of Wild Turkey 101 in a day then worked construction the next day in 100 degree heat groggy as fuck. I don't even know how it happens. Start Sunday morning 7am after coffee. Stop Sunday night after dinner. Alcoholism is a hell of a ride. Lol

This is really sad, how old are you and what kind of ciders are you used to. From my experience cider in the UK is pretty stringent like a wine, while in the US it has become more of a sweet drink like the malt liqueur/wine coolers. Might want to try broadening your cider experience and see if your affliction is just a specific kind of cider. J K Scrumpy is a very apply tasting cider I highly recommend.

Here in the Pacific Northwest cider is 100% craft-brew artisanal stuff that goes for twice the price of your typical beer, so all I've learned from this song is that British cider must be shit :D

I can't drink beer anymore because it puts me to sleep too fast and stays in my system way too long!!! I'd wake up at my computer, go back to sleep in bed, and spend the next twelve hours dealing with it!!!! It's unfortunate! There were lots of beers that I liked too!!! But I can still have cider LOL!!!!!!!
