I CAN'T GET OVER THIS BAND!!!! Marianas Trench - The Killing Kind REACTION 

Phantoms is the sequel to Astoria life wise. It’s his journey in deciding if he wants to get back with his then girlfriend Amanda’--now wife after calling off their wedding before he wrote Astoria. This closing song tells us his answer. It was a Yes.

You need to check out the whole album! This song is sorta the “finale” of the album that integrates other parts of the songs into it. This song is my favorite on the whole album but it makes so much more sense after listening to the album.

Fun fact: Josh wrote the song Call Me Maybe.

Take a second, close your eyes and picture yourself in the front row of their show. These vocals, sounding exactly the same live as they are recorded, but with flashing lights and the whole nine yards. It’s amazing 🤩

This song is so good!!! It also makes so much more sense after listening to the whole album in order since this song has parts of other songs!

Marianas Trench has been my all time favourite band my whole life their music feels like coming home and watching you experience it for the first time is like when you refer a friend to your favourite band and are watching them listen and love the music in real time. Im so glad you found Marianas Trench!!!

Their Finale songs on their albums always bring me joy, it summarizes and is basically a reprise of the album. No Place Like Home, Masterpiece III (my fave), End of an Era.

It’s so wonderful to watch other people discover this band for the first time. It is almost always like a religious experience for people. Your face during the end of the song is the epitome of the Marianas Trench experience. They are such incredible musicians. I would love to see someone compile their songs into a Broadway musical someday, a la Green Day’s American Idiot musical. It would be an intense emotional experience, for sure.

As a long time fan of Marianas Trench I just about had a heart attack when i heard this song for the first time, it took my breath away! It's such a beautiful build up from Masterpiece Theater and Astoria and this song specifically is such an amazing pay off. I 100% recommend going back and listening to everything in order 😁

ive been listening to their music since i was 15. ill be 30 this year. 15 years loving this band. ive seen them live once at 15, another at 17, and then i saw them at cesar windsor in canada in june at 29. i just bought tickets for cesar windsor again november 29th, paid for amazing seats this time. 7th row! i cant wait

So surreal seeing you react to MT after I've made it my life mission to make everyone aware of them. Like I thought watching you get into 5SOS was exciting, but nothing beats this.

When I first discovered them 10 years ago they quickly became one of my favorites. Queen and Freddie are my favorite but Marianas trench and Josh come pretty close in the way they make me feel.

Yay!!! More Marianas Trench! I just listened to Josh’s new album yesterday and was thinking you would absolutely love it too! He does as many genres as possible (even country!!🤠).

Found this band right before COVID started. I had same reaction u did. Bought their whole catalogue and did not regret. Got to see them live here in MD in 2021 and was blown away by how good Josh and the band was live. Seems unfair that he is this good and the U.S. ignores them on radio.

You'd also probably like Josh's new album! He did a solo album and literally every song is a different genre - he said it was something he's always wanted to do and he was able to do it during quarantine the first time. He worked with other Canadian artists for features. But man literally can do anything, it's wild.

The whole Album is amazing and has some of my favorite songs from the band on it. Josh also has a solo album he released this year called the Josh Ramsay Show and nearly every song on it is a different Genre to showcase his amazing range and it collabs with a bunch of canadian artists too! I recommend listening to it! Its really good! I just saw him live two days ago too!

Queen is one of Josh's inspirations. If you have not, Listen to Masterpiece Theater 1 2 &3 and you will definitely get that whole Queen vibe. Lyrical genius Josh is and he is also a genius vocalist that knows how to play just about every instrument out there.

Marianas Trench always goes so hard on the final songs of their albums. I would absolutely love to watch you listen to their entire discography from start to finish. When I tell you this band has been through a metamorphosis that is absolutely beautiful. Each album is so strong on its own. Thank You for taking my request, I loved it!!!! Josh Ramsay had a long on and off relationship with his now wife Amanda! Before he wrote the album Astoria His mom got sick and josh went through a huge writers block, also had a called off wedding/engagement with Amanda! Also with the attiction thing, he was a heroin addic and went to rehab and wrote Lover Dearest (the song/live reaction you did before this song! All in all I loved this! & Maybe I can get you watching their Documentary from the album Phantoms (The Killing Kind is on as the last track) Again Thank You Soo much for this reaction I enjoyed it!!!!!!
