Thank you pastor Bob. I'm an ol biker. Still a biker. I know my sin went through Christ on the cross. I keep wanting to go back to the old ways but the spirit inside convicts me. ROMANS 10 v 9-10 brings me back. The struggle is hard but at the end of the day I know we're my hart is.

I sure am Glad Jesus came and fulfilled the law, aren't you? :) Otherwise you'd be in big trouble for shaving the sides of your head. I'm so glad He loves us! What is really a shame is those who are bound by law rather than a relationship through the spirit.

No, sin is when you say, do or think anything that goes against God's Word. Christ did not come and sacrifice Himself for us because we didn't believe.

And for what you said to make sense that would mean the "Word" which is the Bible would've had to exist back when Christ sacrificed Himself but it didn't. Please read your Bible so you won't be deceived.

Are you kidding me? That translation completely takes scripture out of context, which is a man's version, which brings one to live a convenient truth. No wonder why you're happy and smiley! It's not the desire to sin that makes it a sin; rather it's following doing what that desire suggests. If one is truly born again by the Holy Spirit then that person has the attribute of self-control to resist sinning, which is one of the fruits of the Spirit. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is His exhortation to mankind to repent and keep His law of righteousness, which He made possible for us to do by grace (godly sorrow) through faith (believing that Jesus is God who suffered the cross) in Him: "for by grace are you saved" (Eph. 2:5).

+Sanctuary International Matrix It's not how long one has been a student of the Word, but how one builds upon the foundation. And if the foundation is misconstrued then how one builds upon it will be incorrect. And since you've been in the Word that long (50 yrs) it most likely means you've come to a conclusion (mindset) to think that is what scripture teaches. I don't doubt you're sincerity; neither do I judge you, but still, that is not what scripture teaches concerning the topic of ceasing from sin?"

+Greg Danielson Greg Danielson When you become a Christian, you get tempted more sometimes. Now you are dangerous. Stan doesn't like this. The difference is that you really don't desire that anymore, but you will make mistakes. No one is perfect. You didn't feel that bad before. Now you feel horrible when you sin, if you are truly born again. Someone who says they do not sin after finding Christ is sadly mistaken.

+hfufoemm What do think His gospel is and teaches? 99.9% of the church claims grace, but they have no idea what grace is, having redefined it. Your understanding of scripture is the very reason the end times began when it did; thinking to be something you're not, which is how most of today's church believes; having turned His gospel into another, which is not another (2 Cor. 10:12; 11:3-4; Gal. 1:6-9; 6:3).
