When I was a kid, about 7-14 I had a sugar addiction. I would add it to my juice, milk, lemonade, coke, coffee and tea. In juice, coffee and tea it would be 3-5 spoons of sugar. It took me years to get over this, and only at 15 I think I had my first coffee with only 3 teaspoons. I remember I was so proud of myself. I'm 21 now, and still can't enjoy tea and coffee with a good amount of sugar (although not as much as I used to). But actually, for reals, it's been studied that it's as addictive as cocaine

Her not stirring most of the drinks really defeats the purpose of putting the sugar in. It just sits at the bottom of the glass. It drives me nuts! 😤

She's 100% adding the sugar just to get the attention. She's just dumping it in there and then drinking it before it even has a chance for the sugar to dissolve, so it's rather obvious she doesn't actually like it that way. Otherwise she'd let it dissolve and get all of it, not let it sit at the bottom and get next to none of it.

adding sugar to water is actually a normal thing at least where I come from, we call it sweet water but because it's water we add a little bit of sugar I don't even add half of a teaspoon but it is good for people who have low sugar as long as you don't do it often
