I pulled up to Sergio Garcia's home course in Austin, Texas to challenge him to a 1v1 match... The Crushers ➤ / @crushersgc My Socials Instagram ➤ / brysondechambeau Twitter ➤ / b_dechambeau Video Production ➤ / akacollective
Backed by PGA hah...still fan of many PGA players but it seems those old "entities: "dp,pga," wish to keep golf as straight prestige game..not being aware they are getting paid mostly by all sorts of fees they can think of...In Europe I needed practical and tgeoretical part done (LICENSE) to tee off legally..its straight funny how they just working on keeping golf for 5% 😂
Excellent golf, sir, love the 7 iron lob. I'm going to try that today here in Austin, unfortunately not at Spanish Oaks. Keep doing what you're doing, great things happen to good people.
I was SO disappointed when I saw it was a one-club match...but my disappointment didn't last long. This was GREAT! I love how competitive you guys are, even in a "fun" match. Two of my favorite golfers of all time.
Yep same here, its just two steps up in creativity which we all love to see and Sergio's imagination is on another level...Bryson is a machine and Sergio is a talent (both are both for a normal scratch golfer but in between them it was a machine vs talent)
Sergio’s iron play has always been amazing. Truly one of the greatest ball strikers of all time. His touch and creativity is still second to none. Seve’s legacy!
I agree with all the comments below. Bryson, you are VERY wise to use this medium. Thank you for bringing Sergio onto your channel up close for us to see. FYI - I am 71 years old, have watched PGA Tour golf for decades, but now prefer RU-vid events like you provided today. Keep up this work - I'll be watching for more! 😊
More of this Bryson, it's really important that we keep the legacy alive for these legendary golfers. Sergio was one of the few who could give Tiger a run for his money back in the day. 👍
You see how talented sergio is in this. If the equipment hadn’t changed so much over the last 20 years and become so much easier to hit he would have won numerous majors.
Talent doesn't always translate on the course though, especially in higher pressure tournaments and situations. There are players who can do all kinds of shots on the range, they nail everything and can do every shape of shot right at their targets at will, but everything just falls apart on the course. Dwight Howard would shoot like 85% from the free throw line in practice, but he was a 57% FT shooter in games.
@@brett7011 yeah if you look at the equipment/ball that was used in the late 90’s when Sergio was coming up, I think it’s become much easier for less talented ball strikers to close the gap with modern day equipment. Just my opinion. Similarly I think Tiger would have won even more.
Incredible scoring with just one club off the greens. Both players played some highly imaginative, creative shots. Having home course knowledge helps. I love how both Bryson and Sergio support each other. Those greens were almost brown - no wonder they were fast!
I’ve always respected and appreciated Sergio’s game. I like how he’s always kind of ran hot when things weren’t going well. Shows that he cares. N Bryson. Well I’ve enjoyed his career. Guy loves the game and has revolutionized the game always thinking outside the box.
This is simply some of the best golfing content I've seen in a long time. Bryson flop shot, from the rough & over a tree and onto the green on the 4th hole and Sergio flopping one over the tree on the last hole. Sheer golfing masterclass, with just one iron, from both players. More of this please on your channel.
It's so freaking awesome that you got Sergio on the channel. He has always been a favorite of mine. Just a class act. Would've loved a quick WITB from Sergio, but I'm just happy and excited to see he was so down for this. Just awesome content, Bryson.
That was great! Sergio is in great form and displayed amazing touch. Didn’t miss a shot. Love the impact sound from Bryson’s shots. They are super compressed. If that’s the sort of content that LIV guys can generate, I’m in. Huge fun, guys.
Such a great video! Have been a LIV fan since day one and this collaboration only strengthened it. LIV is growing. Can’t stop it. Great job Bryson and El Niño.
I love the way a pro talks his way thru each and every shot. They see every thing and plan it accordingly. Even when they don't pull it off, their misses are better than anything us normal folks can even imagine. Thanks guys.
Bryson these type of videos are phenomenal. I admit I don’t watch golf on tv mainly because I don’t have all the time in the world to watch it, but these 40 minute videos are perfect. And I love watching two competitors play who are both great players
Fun match and always love your stuff, Bryson! Great to see Sergio in this light and the general comradery among you LIV guys! The “other” tour always painted Sergio as a villain, but what a fun, supportive, and cool guy to hang out with… and play some awesome golf! 😊
You guys are very gracious with your time for us fans. Thank you! This is why we need some 6 club tournaments on tour. Would speed up play and would show us some creative ball striking.
Last time I saw Sergio i was a marshall at LIV Centurian and he was hacking and swearing at a bush 🤣🤣. Love seeing you guys relaxed and just playing golf with your mates. Cant wait for the next
Thanks for playing against Sergio Garcia! I remember him from when he first turned pro, that swing of his, the laying off the shaft...was always impressed by his ball striking! Sergio is a real veteran tour player, like a surgeon with that five iron.
I had a smile on my face from beginning to end. To see pro golfers like Sergio and Bryson put on such a march is better than and event PGA pushes out. Love this stuff. PGA Tour go such an egg!
Love your channel showing that you guys can be normal helps golf. Same said for Sergio. I watched him with another channel play speed golf very entertaining 😊
These types of videos accompanying LIV Golf is an awesome addition. It helps fans get to know players more intimately and creates a deeper connection between fans and LIV in general.
Great video and very insightful, I think we all should know that God is good and sometimes he pushes you to places and opportunities you never knew you needed. I just got to realize that trading comes with a lot of benefits And I have just bought my first house through it. As a beginner I was scared of loosing my savings but l'm glad I took the bold step that is now favoring me.
Yes please How does this trading stuff work? I'm really interested but I just don't know how to go about it. I heard people really make it huge trading
It's not as easy as you think my friend. As a beginner, it's essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. I'm guided by Maymuun J Choi a widely known crypto consultant
But I strongly advise you against self trading, it's really dangerous and has brought many investors down, you need someone with the right strategies and expertise to do the work for you, I recommend Maymuun j Choi
love that these two are having fun like two teenagers would doing this. everything is so stressful now with the pga and liv and to see this is awesome. imho if bryson, who is very mechanical and methodical would do this type of golf for the "feel" of it on his days off, he would then be almost impossible to beat.
Awesome you two. All my favorite golfers are at liv. This reminded me of a movie I watched about Seve learning to play with only a 3 iron. Sergio might have done some of that too the way he plays that 5 iron. Keep it up guys, great content.
Great idea to make for a fun match! Interesting to hear Sergio talking about playing the contours of the fairways and greens to his advantage rather than just hitting to the pin. A different thought process than most when you really know the course well.
Sergio is amazing - A real throwback to the old shotmaking days. I think he would be tough for anyone to beat in a one club challenge. If he putted like Bryson, just think how many majors he would have won. Great content Bryson - most entertaining matches on RU-vid.
I always think of his mentor and friend especially when he can shape shots like this with a five iron. Remarkable skill and artistry with a single club.
I'd you haven't heard the sound of ball compression in person when Sergio hits irons, it's pretty amazing. You really get an understanding of really how good these guys really are.
Very enjoyable watching pros play for fun. Shows the different level they are playing at and their ability not just to hit great shots, but to “read” a golf course. That to me, is just as impressive as their shot making.
