Life can be crazy, I'm trying to figure out what I'm gonna do with the 2nd half of mine. U seem to be a good sincere person which today seems to be more rare,....(like the prelude😂😂) infact this will be the first channel I join,..( to come shortly 😀).. oh side note,.. Japan stopped production of the Prelude in June of 89, "blue" as she's called was stamped 6/89 making her one of the last preludes made in Japan!, Anyway.. take care brother!

Conner, I stumbled onto your channel because of your Tacoma videos. To be very honest, I have no interest in your Prelude content, but I know many of your subscribers do. That being said, I am impressed with your old Tacoma and the way that you have tricked it out for camping. The fact that it is a first gen Tacoma that is on its way to 200,000 miles is awesome. I agree with changing your channel name. Keep the Tacoma videos coming. I really enjoy them.

Life is full of constant changes and I think this is a good rebrand for your channel! As for the H22 swap, its the engine swap I finally accomplished last summer and very much recommend. I think your 3 main concerns with the H22 swap in your prelude is: #1 cost, It can get pretty expensive pretty fast especially if done properly and you try not to cut corners. It took me over a year to acquire everything for this swap, mainly because of wait times for items but also because of my finances but I made it happen. A lot of the stuff is made to order and can take months just FYI. #2 ground clearance, since your 3rd gen is basically slammed stance boi style you won’t have good oil pan ground clearance. You can offset this by obviously raising the car, slightly bigger tires or going with a K sport bagged setup. Also 1funryd performance makes a traction bar with a skid bar, you could also fab up your own skid bar/plate. #3 since your prelude is the carbed model I believe it’s a little more work going to a fuel injected setup, not 100% percent on this but I think I remember reading it on PreludePower. 1Funryd performance also makes engine mounts for the B16/18/20 swaps as well so there’s other options. Do you have a garage or an area out of the elements to tackle this swap on your own? Still have your carfort? You’ve got a lot to consider ATM. My advice is get it running and driving for now the cheapest way possible and then focus on acquiring everything for the swap as it will take some time.
