It's really great to hear your progress a year on from completing Couch to 5K. I am currently on Week 6 Run 3 and absolutely loving it. I was a bit like you in a sense that I never thought I could run but it's because I never knew how or taught. I hope that a year on from now I am like you and able to do 10K runs :)
That's amazing - you are so close to hitting that 5K mark. Once you complete the app, it's great to get yourself into the routine of running at least once a week, so you can keep up your progress. You'll smash it and hit that 10K in no time 🥰💛
I've just done my first run of week 2 on couch to 5K. Already I can feel I can run a little bit more that last week, I'm now concentrating on my breathing. Which counting and breathing at the same time has been a lot for my brain. I feel I end up panicking and breathing too shallow, so trying to be aware of that. My shins are still taking a beating but hoping with every run I get a little bit stronger!!
Completed it last year in lockdown and really enjoyed it, gave it up and now on week 3 again for the second time :( I think it has to become a lifestyle and I hope to keep it up this time
Congratulations on getting to Week 3! It's so addictive isn't it 🥰👏🏼 Set your pace straight away and steady your breathing and you'll be fine! You'll smash it 💕
@@AliceLucyBradley Thank you! 😊the steady breathing is definitely the bit I struggle with most 🤦♀️but I'll get there! Great video! Well done for sticking to it for so long☺️
i've completed my 2nd run on week 4 it's going better than first thought, it's still challenging and will be being a 17 stone man. Running 5k without stopping seemed like a impossible mission, But now i have a bit of hope.
