@0x45Swims it's not just potholes. Sand/ gravel at intersections for example.

The problem is, in North America the sheer mass of car centric infrastructure, and low density suburban hellscapes can’t generate enough tax revenue to be able to maintain all of it. If they tried, they’d go bankrupt. The system is flawed down to the core. That’s why across NA you see crumbling dilapidated roads, and they have to cherry pick which ones get fixed

​@uoughta923 painfully accurate. Some new rider dumped his bike within line of sight of the dealer he just left(first oil change) with is brand new zx6r. Intersection is a gravel/sand bar all the time. I called the department of transportation on a few intersections to get them cleaned up that were horrible.... they never did.

​@kiritoheika3412 here in Florida, I've hit sand so deep I briefly got stuck while making a u-turn. It was a scary experience because I was basically doing a burnout while trying to merge into traffic.

I hit a BOULDER in the road around a blind corner and somehow saved it. It violently cranked my handlebars to lock and kicked my feet off the pegs. I had to pull over and check my wheel and my pants after.

Totally agree, too fast for conditions/skill level- good thing he didn’t hurt anybody else (there could be a child on a sidewalk or a pregnant woman crossing the road). Best to practice on a race track and try to beat a girls on a ninja 400 time, if you dare. Accidents like that should not be posted on the web as influencers shouldn’t benefit from reckless driving - if anything they should take responsibility for such riding.

@@SquidTips Don’t need to. Your title says it all. Just to clarify, no man hole can cause you to crash if you are riding well within your limits. As an ex Australian Superbike racer, I learnt my limits and kept pushing them to improve my riding abilities and ultimately lap times and race wins. Unless someone has or is racing knows their limits, same applies for peps who frequent track days. Street squids? Never. I have my own background as an example of this.

An unskilled rider diagnoses the issue as ‘too fast’ what a surprise, good luck out there.

@@SquidTips Unskilled? I think two wildcard entries into WSB would suggest otherwise. These days I mentor a couple of young racers to also make them significantly safer when riding on the streets. As unfortunately, I lost my best friend whilst we were riding on the streets and he went beyond his own capabilities. Statistics worldwide shows nostalgic deaths or serious injuries occur when riders are simply going above and beyond. Stay safe and stay upright. I’m hopeful, you, like me, will look back to the age you are in a decade or so later and think differently. I know I do as an ex squid.

@@kialyra6526 if you been driving for more than 3 years you'll be able to tell what the speed limit of each road is just by looking at it. If you have been riding for more than 2 years you can tell how fast he's going. It's a simple deduction.

@@SquidTips I watched your other vidoe where you explained it. Still to me nothing justifies going that fast. had it been a car running a stop sighn and you tboned it you could have died. And trust me I lane split at 100 plus mph I know what will realistically cause a crash and going that fast through suburbs does it everytime. u just can't predict what in front of you good enough unless u you know every inch of the road it's best to just go nice and slow

Speed isn't the only factor involved in crashes, which I feel like I laid out pretty clearly

he can't cause if he was going the speed limit it wouldn't have happened most likely, not saying it wouldn't happened. just less of a chance. i do agree it needs to be "lowered" tho, if he sues he won't get money but at least they would fix it.
