Imagine in the 1990's, you buy a Nvidia Riva 128 and wonder where the company will be in 30 years... 1000x GPU performance, 250x RAM requirements just to sort through and average millions of lines a blonde would say, to groom you and sell you their product at the end...
I’d call that progress 😂 Seriously though we are heading to having a pc\home Ai that will be something that we could only associate with Ai computers from Sci-Fi films or series in the last 30 years. I suppose it’s already happened, but offerings from Amazon, Google, and Apple are far from what a LLM can now offer. Imagine when graphics and gaming worlds can be generated in real time by AI, then linking that into VR. We are quite a few years away from that, but I think movie level realism will seep into the gaming world sooner than we think. Oh ye I have been groomed, I want an RTX 5090 😊
