I'd do anything - Show 9 - Rachel 

Am I the only one who finds it Ironic that Rachel performed this song and Samantha went on to play the lead in Cabaret, and Samantha sang Defying Gravity and Rachel went on to play the lead in Wicked..

After Rachel left, I wasn't fussed who won out of Jessie n Jodie. Watched the final n felt totally justified in thinking how undeserving Sam has been of Nancy. Her Singing In The Rain was so dull compared to Jodie n Jessie's respective duets. What I wasn't prepared for was to be blown away by Jessie in the final. She was awesome. But Jodie will be an excellent Nancy - more traditional n there's nothing wrong with that :-) Just wish Rachel had been in the final instead of Sam!

She reminds me of Lauren in Over The Rainbow. So professional, and such a flawless voice, yet just didn't get the votes. You really need to have the likability factor in these shows - Jodie epitomizes that. So glad Rachel's doing well though! x

this was incredible!! if the public don't vote for her this week, then they don[t deserve to have the pleasure of her being nancy. Jodie.. she is good... but she just can't hit the low notes- or even the high notes. it's a problem.

What has happened to the final? did people not vote because they thought and assumed she was safe? She did NOT deserve to leave! she has the whole package and the other three certainly haven't. This performance was 120% LEADING LADY! she will go far in her life and deserves it!! Good luck RACHEL!!!!xxxx p.s in theory she came third because Sam got the lowest votes

I can't believe he saved Samantha over Rachel I hope it's because he realises Rachel doesn't need Nancy or Oliver but Samantha does. I wish Rachel every success, she's phenomenal and deserves to be a leading lady on the West End stage.

I thought her performance was a bit over the top and slightly shouty. The judges liked it and that surprised me :S Still, with all those positive comments, I'm surprised Rachel ended up in the sing-off twice.

Cant believe Rachel is gone :( Samantha destroyed Defying Gravity but Rachel was brilliant in everything she sang! I would have loved to have seen Rachel in the west end as nancy :( Gonna miss you Rach!

Jodie was good, and did the song well but this was just more for me. Jodie and Rachel are my top picks for Nancy now that Sarah and Niamh are gone.

I agree, the other duets were more appropriate. But Singing In The Rain did confirm that Sam wasn't as strong in her lower register as Jodie n Jessie.

My guess is that there were fans who were voting more than once for the others, and not doing that for Rachel. It was a joke she didn't though.

It won't be long before Rachel is cast in Chicago. How could he have saved Samantha?! If she wins its fixed...Jodie all the way!!!!

He did it because he didn't think Rachel was what Mackintosh had in mind for his Nancy, not because he wanted her gone.

Generally I was a fan of Samantha but at this evening Rachel should came through to the final because her performance was by far better than Samantha's.

Really love this performance, Rachel is just outstanding in Wicked! at the moment her contract is until december 10th, so i'd really recomend seeing her live in action, blew me away when i saw her as Elphaba in december! They may have said she 'cant connect with the material' she certainly can now in Wicked! She was in tears when i saw her perform 'For Good', 'Defying Gravity' and 'Im Not That Girl', so emotional!

Cabaret has finished it's run in London and is on tour so I doubt that will happen now!!! I'd love to see her as Sally Bowles one day but I am so pleased she is playing Meat. She was so amazing and throughly deserve every sucess that comes her way!!!

Oof ... the pressure's on for the others! This was phenomenal - she has such a powerful voice and stepped so completely into character. How ironic that, after all that, it was her last week.

@Muziekvrouw Ik weet niet of je het ondertussen al weet, maar dit was een programma in 2008 waar ze op zoek gingen naar een Nancy (gekozen door de kijkers + jury) en 3 olivers (gekozen door jury) voor de productie van de musical Oliver! in de west end. Net zoals ze in Nederland al op zoek gegaan zijn naar Evita, Joseph, Mary Poppins en Zorro.

That was an amazing performance by Rachel and she has become my new favorite! I really want her to win this!!! Go Rachel! Yay! And Sam still should've been in the bottom of two rather than her last week.

I don't know what people see in her... this is an awful version of this song. Listen to the Liza Minnelli version and you'll see what I mean. This is just my opinion if you don't agree that's fine.
