I think it's the same case for Spanish Fly achievement; it disappeared when I formed Ireland, if I remember correctly, but I got the achievement nonetheless.

Yup, had the same happen for both of these examples while achievement hunting a few years ago. It also reminds me of the Tunisian mission tree... Air Strike. Hehehehe.. Hehe...

worst case scenario if you ever actually dont get an achievement youre supposed to get. Use the Steam Achievement Manager and add it manually.

Yep, that and Offaly had the same issues. But luckily, it worked out and I didn't waste like 50 hrs of gameplay there

I think 3 Mountains suffers from the Byzantium problem. It's an incredibly difficult start if you aren't working with a guide, but there are so many guides out there that all of the hard work has essentially been done for you.

3 Mountains achievement was added in patch 1.1. It used to be much harder, that's why it's listed as impossible.

@@jackhouse1618 eat your greens also used to be harder before the new missions and the posibility to form Siam. With the wording of the achievement you shouldn't be able to tag switch during the run. However it was still doable without tag switch anyway and without delaying age of absolutism.

Agree, well it's an old achievement and it was impossible long time ago. I did first mine in 1.21 or so

Yeah, I have one faith and I am at best an average player. It is not really hard currently if you plan it out a bit. You can start as Austria, never fight a difficult war or have a coalition and still get one faith easy.

How could you use game mechanics to do something more efficient! You can only do the ahcievement on VH, no allies no armies marines only, otherwise it doesnt count!

Being able to tag switch for eat your greens instantly reduces the difficulty drastically from impossible to hard (yes skip very hard). Either the wording should change to 'starting as Kale' or you shouldn't be able to get it after tag switch.

I think it can be easily done without bothering to stop global trade. Also True Heir of Timur is much easier now. Shluld change time limit to 1500 to make it impossible again

@@ZlewikkTV I mean the event when you form Tibet. If you hold that event (clicking it now gives you Tibetan idea like the game intended), form Khalkha by the mission then click "yes, please", as Khalkha doesn't have unique tag ideas, the game will search for government type idea which is horde.

But you do not get any 'yes please' when forming Khalkha 😅

That would require some further destate and anyway I can easily do it without these bonuses. Keep in mind the ratio malus got nerfed and even with 85%ratio I'll wipe everyone You will see lan xang into Siam in my mp campaign I recently started uploading ;)

@@ZlewikkTV for example changing the occupation. you could always add it via the add shortcut button but now its missing completely in the files and you need to add it.

I remember playing a majapahit campaign and my all (5) tributaries allied one of my rivals - either Borneo or Malacca. Game is unplayable when your subjects join on the side of the enemy when you declare a war.

Actually, a lot of longer achievements got much harder with 1.34, because AI strong nations are expanding really fast now and it takes much longer time to conquer these nations

@@grubygrzib6308 you still have the reduced warscore and AE from 1.32 and it's really easy to stack wipe since they fixed the shit 1.33 combat. Just pick good ideas like admin and diplo and you'll be fine, the game is basically the same. Even if the AI is "better" you should still be able to out scale them.

@@flimpeenflarmpoon1353 I'm not talking about "outscaling" them or defeating them, but about the insane amount of wars you are gonna need to full annex them. For example in my current england game, ottomans have 800% total province war score cost, in 1487, even if you perfectly release and annex all possible vassals from them it's gonna take you atleast six 100% war score wars. If we also consider the fact that they are going to expand like crazy between the truces and that in a first few wars they are gonna have insane amount of troops and forts, I think i can safely say that it would take atleast 200 years to annex them without trucebreaking. I'm not saying that any achievement is impossible because of that, but the achievements that require a lot of conquest are definitely WAY harder than before 1.32
