getting manpower is easy with the new manpower buildings, since I started building them I never really had manpower problems

@@LordDucarius Oh no, I didn't mean actual manpower. What I was referring to was using marines in place of troops, which use sailors. Because sailors have a much lower base count their modifiers have a way smaller impact than manpower ones have.

Are you lacking any DLC? Forming Siam does not change your gov type so CB should stay

@@ZlewikkTV Wow that was a fast reply! Thanks man. Turns out it was just me that was stupid - the cb dissappeared when forming Siam but the game just needed to update over the month tick. but who wanna wait for a month tick when playing a horde? :)

I also always note 'probably' :). There are multiple reasons: 1. You can get it very early, on current mil tech 8 cav has 0 fire and 2.0 shock (2.0 in total), while infantry has 0.55 fire and 0.95 shock (1.4 in total). With this modifier you have 3 combined fire and shock with cav, which is over 2x more than infantry. More importantly, you are spreading your damage to fire and shock phases, making it hurt even more. There is no other mil modifier doing that much significant % change of your damage. 2. Even if we take tech 16 you mentioned, cav has 0.5 fire and 2 shock (2.5 total, 3.5 with that modifier, which is still significant), infantry has 1.1 fire and 1.15 shock (2.25 in total, look how much less than your cav with this modifier), canons have 2.4 fire and 0.25 shock (2.65 in total, still much less than your cav). Also keep in mind that canons do half of their damage in second row, so it's even less significant than 2.65. Anyway here you should only compare cav to inf as you always need canons for second row so there is no choice cav vs canons 3. Can't say about your experience with EU4, but most of campaigns people play end around 1600 because they get bored or blobb to much. Tech 16 comes in... 1609 (or a bit earlier if you take it much ahead of time), tech 22 in ... 1687. So majority of players already quit the game before canons get more dmg (and as showed above, not that much compared to cav at that tech). Also most important part of the game is early-mid game, where this modifier is even more crucial I hope that this helps ;)

Because it's not efficient. 1. You pay more gov cap 2. Keep in mind that your trade company increases your goods peoduced modifier in all provinces in that trade node that are outside of trade company (even if they are not stated, that impacts trade value significantly)

Because negative modifier got nerfed to the ground. In the past it was flat -25% shock damage. Now it scales from 0% to -25% depending on how much over your cav to inf ratio you are. With 85% cav to inf ratio my negative modifier is... 7.5%. I'll include 2k of inf in next video, just here with limited manpower I had to focus on what's important!

It used to be Z, but pdx removed the shortcut a few years ago (If you had it before like me then it stayed). You can easily edit binds in steam file though

@@ZlewikkTV IDK if its just me or the video is stuttering and isnt really that smooth. For example when you move your mouse or the camera its like you had some kind of weird lags, i noticed it on your previous episode too. I dont have this problem with any other youtube so i feel like its something on your side. In other terms. I have 60Hz monitor but i feel like im watching your video being recorded on half of that or like 40Hz one and it feels weird.
