Wow, thank you Rebecca! I struggle with Complex PTSD, and I've tried to encourage my dear wife to be free to seek help too; as seeing her a few times cry with the pressure of my instability... so much stress it includes. Your brief story has actually really helped me see some of my wife's perspective too. Many thanks for sharing! PTSD is a very very lonely place as a sufferer, and now I get a glimpse that it is for a spouse as well.

I hope this young man realizes how valuable it is to have someone like her, I'm sure he does if he spent a little time by himself. Thank you young lady.

Thank you for sharing your story as a wife, I am planning to share mine but i have not been filming it yet. My husband have severe PTSD and it is hard for him and hard for me we have been together for 9 years and I have been through a lot with guided him and support him, he is a disabled veteran..what you have share i have experienced it but we dealt it within us my husband don't like crowd so i respect that. the thing about PSTD is that you don't what triggers it exactly it can strike anytime and anywhere, So i becoming more vigilant on what triggers my husband's PTSD and be understanding, handle the situation calmly, and just show the unconditional love. To All the Veterans and active Duty and the Wife kudos to all of you!

It's hard to listen to you in this video....but it's also good. I have PTSD, although for many years I didn't realize it. I did but I didn't....I just didn't connect the problems with the name PTSD. It's not as bad as it used to be, knowing where it comes from helps. I had flashbacks many times....still do once in a while, anger.....a refusal to speak when under stress, I reject close relationships, because many times the people/bodies I had to pick up I knew personally....most of the time. Just so many different things that can add to PTSD. The anxiety attacks, the inability to function, an inability to focus in real world events (during flashbacks). I'm glad your working on this together, that's good, thank you for caring.

I served in the U.S.Army, from 1975 to 1979. I didn't see no live action, the war in Vietnam was already over before I enlisted. I received an Honorable Discharge, Am I considered a veteran? Do I qualify for help?

To all vets I too served in a peace time army over in Germany from 1986 to 1989 and I also have a Honorable Discharge however as a both garison MP and field MP I have seen and been right in the blood and guts of demestic violence, car accidents on the no speed limit Autobonn, military track vehicle and other types of equipment accidents threat con levels on and on as I made my living at different jobs I have found out that there are many others just like us that have served in a piece time military. However I ha e contacted my local veterans service officer and there is assistance for all veterans.

I had PTSD from Vietnam with the help of my wife and family it did not affect me that much I didn't think and when they went into Kuwait it all came back even worse because my family had all married and got away from home and it was different around here and I was in Indiana working up there and my family was scattered it got worse and worse it seems to get a little worse all the time and I do my best to hold it down and try to control it but I have to do the best I can the saints that happened come back Niles all at once it just happens maybe a day or two a week and you never know and I know one thing there's a lot of us out there that don't want to say nothing about it because the VA thanks it's a scam and is not
