Terri, a Navy Veteran, met Jim after he had served in the Marines. Before they married, they went to therapy together at VA. She learned more about PTSD and ways to help him manage his symptoms. Treatment helped Jim get back on track and helped improve their relationship.

My husband has ptsd, but the very thought of going to therapy is triggering for him. He keeps making excuses not to go, and meanwhile the cycle continues and everyone in our family pays the price. I feel like I’m riding a carrousel with no brass ring in sight.

Sorry. After 2 years I am leaving. Enough is enough. I have had it with the depression, being stuck in thr house with somebody who won't go anywhere, thr hypochondriac. He can't work so I am the one paying the bills. On top of that he keeps me up all night with his hypochondriac. I tried for 2 years. I AM DONE. He needs to tell his tale of woe to thr government They need to take responsibility for his condition

No love and kindness and understanding can go a long way. If you love someone you support them in any marriage . Ps it's their decision if they wanna tie the knot. Someone I loved has it so I am trying to educate myself on it to help them .
