Not really that hard it's just what u do more of I'd liek to see her deadlifting form.amd such, if big boy did pilates for even a month he'd make it looks easy as hell compared to what he did in this video
@@whateverbro9955 Never done pilates, but looks like you need some decent mobility. Powerlifters tend to be on the tighter side, not something you fix fast.
Makes no sense why anyone would not consider doing this. This routine expands your core. It allows your body maximize mobility. Train the small fibers/muscles that allow you to have that extra mobility for a better work out and this will help you in your boxing too!
Ego. Some people are just married to this idea of "pfft! Pilates is useless" when a) it's not and b) it's supposed to be complimentary to other exericses because it stabilizes you. That's why dancers do it to help their dancing.
I laught at my wife for saying "ey do pilares". Then my med told me, go to pilates. I was a fool, I have many injuries from my military service and I'm always training weights.....pilates really gave me flexibility and tone down some pains in my neck, lower back and knees. I'll admited I was a fool for not trying it out earlier.
i agree with some of the other dude here. This needs to be a weekly video. Pilates and yoga are seriously hard but good for you. We need to make this lady internet famous
Keep putting in that work big homie! Glad to see you doing positive things out here and motivating people to make a positive change in their lives. Much respect
A good effort for trying pilates for the first time, Big Boy. You're lucky to have such a patient instructor. It's actually first time for me, to see these resistance beds being used, which looks like so much fun! Continue to work on your flexibility, because your body is stiff from the muscle bulk in the way of natural movement. I personally cycle back to original P90X every couple years, with the longest yoga session in the series being 90 mins. Give it about a month to let your body get used to stretching, breathing, and core work altogether.
BRO, YOU LOOK AWESOME! SUPER HAPPY AND PROUD OF YOU. I'M ONLY USED TO SEEING YOU ON KALI'S PAGE. LOSING ALL OF THAT UNNECESSARY SIZE HAS JUST ADDED ABOUT 10+ YRS TO YOUR LIFE. CONGRATS BROTHA!
Functional and flexible! You did amazing big boy . . . by you trying things like Pilates it will encourage your followers to look to Pilates and other functional work to compliment all of the lifting-brilliant!
That’s a baaaad little Pilates dude! In all seriousness, the one thing I’ve learned in life and have always strived to be is “diverse” and Big has done a great job being diverse and learning as much as he can.
@@mrri8403 some do it on purpose, some are clueless, some dont give af. Just dont let that inner simp take over, she shits and pisses like the rest of us fam
Big believer in Pilates. Much respect for the big guy at least trying it. Consistently incorporating Pilates will make you a better lifter and less injury prone. Keep doing it.
This is dope! To see you remain humble. Always trying new things. That’s awesome Big! This reminds me of “Game Plan” 😆 Beautiful instructor and everything 👍🏽
That look he gave the camera when he was all strapped up with his legs open🤣🤣. Good stuff homie, keep gettin it!! Looks harder than hittin weights for sure.
Big BOY putting in work 💯💯💪🏾 This would have been hilarious if he would have had he’s BBF Khalil muscle doing this they would be cracking jokes the whole time lol but great work
My dude no lie straight up for your first time trying it you truly did well and I know it will help you not only with your flexibility but better blood circulation for recovery
I was thinking that. He did very well. I just picked up a great book called “Pilates For Men.” I highly recommend it. Pilates was invented by a man, Joseph Pilates, for men!
Love the content brotha...you definitely motivate to get out of comfort zone by not only doing it, but putting your flaws on video..much love..That's a baaad duude..
As a classical pilates instructor, I can tell you that the format of this instructors flow is more contemporary. Yes, call me a snob but, I always start with footwork! Your glutes are the largest muscle group in your body!! For a big dude like this I would do foot work first to check alinement, posture ect. For beginners I always start with basics then add on progression to advanced. People have told me that the classical form does "nothing" or it's not so called hard "enough". Classical always progresses to other movements. I'd rather my beginner clients focus on form and then add more challenging exercises. I'm glad that you tried pilates though!
She did throw in at the end that he was 30 mins late. They only had about 20-25 mins. When he mentions at the end that some moves were easy I was thinking well yeah because there was no full body engagement. No neutral pelvis, very little stability, and little muscle focus. He was using his whole body rather than the proprioception pilates is intended for. That being said, it’s not what this video was supposed to be about. It was for him to try something he had misconceptions about. It hit that goal. He learned it’s not just gliding around on a machine that does a lot of the work for you.
Bro, pilates is rough! I was introduced to it while by a therapist who wanted to prove a point while I was post low back surgery. Those little pilates ladies can wear out us muscled up dudes every day of the week.
I greatly appreciate the content & your willingness to outdo yourself every chance you get. This look into pilates was an eye opening. Keep up the great work
big boy is a cool dude, he always open to try stuff, be it for views or for fun or to improve his atheltisism, its why im subbed, i like the diversity lel.
Nah bro that was nice 👍🏽 I’ve never seen that before so it’s good to see something that is new to a lot of us I enjoyed the content and never be embarrassed to do something new plus big up on transforming your physique
the girls laughing is so funny. probably a humbling experience for you being a huge friggin savage and these lil cali girls w all the finesse really made this video pop broski keep up the shine you look amazing
the core and subtle muscle strength. exactly as he said. all those stabilizer muscles. those are the muscles that in the middle of a lift and someone says "pause". she's activating all those sorts of muscles. and her body shows she's got that strength. crazy fit
All those moves remind me of stabilization exercises done on the floor Adapting them to the reformer really makes you fight to hold the correct posture and activate all the little stabilizers. Great work, she makes is very diverse with her movements,I wish could learn it. Though I bet she is very creative as well.
For real tho that kind of stuff is what will keep a person aging slower and hopefully still moving around well in older age it's has to it's place in physical health for sure
I'm hurting injured just by watching this video... Bigboy U should have warned us how dangerous this is.... Bigboy right now ""U NOT A BAD DUDE ""🥊💪🏋🤕🤣🤣🤣
Honestly my favorite video from strength cartel they’ve given some great lifting input but this one has to be my number one favorite, please go back to that instructor😍
Am in pain just by watching. Not sure guys are built to do Pilates. Hats off for the effort. Some of the leg work looks like it would be good for a running back to be able to change direction quickly. The Bengals sure could of used you at the superbowl🌞💪
Yo big, I think you should make a short video on the reasons you decided to change your whole mindset for your training and the goals of all this change ie longevity and health ect, maybe to motivate more people to switch it up coz I think a lot of people are afraid to drop that armour man but your doing it.
All of the sudden, I'm in to pilates,, She is so knowledgeable and professional You should just have her do all the work out and record , for an hour 😀 we all know how important good form is 😎
Shes 🔥 🔥 I would not be able to hold my Composure with her being next to me. Damn big boy you had to pick a baddie couldn't just be no normal one lmfao 🤣 thats some eye candy 👀🍭🍭 Those pants are just the devil work 😩
As a guy who went to physical therapy for 2 years straight before spine surgery, I know that popping sound and the relief it gives feels good. All that tightness released after the initial pain. Good work.
