You are so very right, back in the 60s or 70s we all had one of those to make our own Christmas bows and if I remember correctly the little pegs had a pointed end that you stuck into a wrapped Christmas box to hold the bow in place. It was meant to save money, but I think that it cost as much to make the bows, since the bags of bows were very cheap back then. Neat Memory!!
You have the Best Personality!! I get So Excited when you make one of your sounds or facial expressions...We All Know It Can Only Means FOUND SOMETHING GREAT!!! I bet that Little Couple are sitting together, holding hands, and SMILING SO BIG WHEN YOU PULL OUT A ITEM THAT MEANT SO MUCH TO THEM! Just knowing that it will be Loved Again instead of a piece of FORGOTTEN Trash...This World Could Definitely Use A Few More Renee's!!! Keep up the good work! Love, Love, Love Your Channel!!!
These are just my favorite videos! I love the look on your face when you find a treasure! And we both go ‘ahh’ when you find something. And you find some great things.
Love the joy you found through this bag. You just light up when you are so happy. Like my daughter was at Christmas other birthday. My sister would always wait so she could just watch Roz open her gifts. We lost Roz at the age of 40 to stinking cancer. Her husband whom I love remarried and moved to California. We are blessed to have are granddaughters. Ages 20 and 22, their 4 dogs, two huge and one small, a mule and two horses. I miss my girl but know it was time for God to take her and end her pain. Plus she is here in me and Jody and the girls. Please don't be sad. Rejoice that she is in no more pain and Lord willing we will see her again. ❤️
That egg took me back to a childhood memory of Easter. My mom used to get us these sparkly, shimmery, sugary, big eggs with an opening at one end and there would be a little "window"to peek through. Inside would be this glorious Easter scene. Whether it was a bunny scene or a religious scene we loved them!!! It took all of me not to crunch into the sugar Masterpiece!
The junkier the better!!! Makes the finds more exciting😃Love, love, love the NOS treasures🎅🏻And um NO, we are not getting tired of the trash bag reveals!!! I sure hope you find the mate to that groovy vintage boot~Hurry up with the next one🤩🎉
The plastic stars go on the large Christmas light strings. Unscrew the bulb, place the star on the light socket, screw in the bulb to hold the star in place.
I love it when you get so excited. Kindred spirits. Keep those little spools of ribbon. Many people use them to put on a shelf with a Christmas doo dad on display.
I enjoyed the HECK out of this video. I Love ❤️ all the vintage Christmas and when you picked up the hairy thing, I was yelling at my phone.. please be a doll head, please be a doll head. I am so glad you got her. You can either make her creepy for Halloween or fix her up like a Beautiful Princess. Thanks for sharing !!!
Great bag!! Seeing the little square box of stars ... my teachers in 1st and second grade used those exact stars to put on our assignment papers if the results of our work was "star worthy" in 1966-1967.
1960s boots are worth a ton of money. Hope you find the other one! Thanks for saving all this stuff from the trash! Makes me sad that people would just throw this stuff out.
No Never can get tired of the garbage bags. I love your show. You are lovely to listen too. I enjoy it all so much. Your Paper and Moose Show is so interesting. I love to buy used vintage clothes for myself. My neighbor called me and my 37 year old son down. So we went, they were closing up their Garage Sale. Wow! Did she load us up! Wonderful older stuff, never opened.Woohoot!!Cyndi in Palm Bay, Fl I would like to see a flea market video of you selling or shopping there.
I could never get tired of watching you go through those bags. I’m always amazed at what you find. I do hope you find the mates to those boots and the other ones. Fun!’
Hi Renee! I've never seen anyone get so excited over trash finds. It makes me feel happy just watching you. My Grandpa used to go to the local dump every morning around 5:00. People made fun of him but they didn't complain when he brought back his good finds. He mostly brought back metal. Like Taco Stacks.
I think the coil with the wire is a electrical magnet . The two little coils are a electrical magnet too. Love the trash bags. Thank you for the video.
Loved the old Christmas tags and seals...great finds. When I hear you get excited about something I perk up and seek the thrill as much as you. I really hope you find the other purple boot too.
Even if you dont find the other boot, that one would be great to display in a deep frame with some lace & fripperies. Maybe with pink paper roses & a pretty teacup & saucer. So many possibilities. You have over 200 comments here, & nobody is tired of trash bag videos. We're all having fun!
Just discovered your channel. 😃 remember sometimes it's a good idea to sniff the bags or anything porous. I do crime scene cleaning and a sniff test is a good way to tell weather a bag of goodies came from a death scene.
The videos of the trash bags go by so fast. Love to see all the old Christmas things and everything else. Fingers crossed you find the “Mary Poppins” boot. Can’t wait until the next time.
You hit a trash bag jackpot. I couldn’t control myself and would go through every bag once I got home. Can’t wait until the next trash bag video. Stay safe.
Hello Renee . That was amazing . So many great finds. The ribbon reminds me of when I started school my Mom used it to put in my hair . She would bring it up in a bow on top of my head. I'm hoping you find the other boot . Those are great . Stay safe my friend 📷📷📷🌼🌸🍄💞💞💞💯💯💯💯💯💯
Hi Renee. That doll head looks exactly like a doll I got for Christmas in 1960. She was a bride doll and my last doll I could have as I had just turned 11. Rules were rough back then!! 😉
Renee, the thing you said had little pegs in it is a bow maker. The pegs is the center of the bow to attach to packages by pressing through the cardboard.
I remember the bow maker. You attach a peg then put the end of ribbon on peg then start looping and attaching ribbon when you loop. Not sure but the egg may open by pressing down on one end and it pops open. That was fun. Thanks for sharing
I love vintage Christmas too and those were some great finds! If you don't find the body, use that creepy doll head in your Halloween display. Thanks for sharing your mystery trash bag surprises with us. It appears that the family kept everything so there should be many more bags to rescue!
Hi Renee I really enjoyed the the trash bag reveals the red mesh stocking is some sixties and seventies I used to buy for my children they were filled with all kinds of small toys games and maybe some candy 😄 hope you find the mate to the vintage purple boot❣️
The pink triangle thing looked like a bowmaker with the bowmaker pegs inside. Those were a thing in the 60's-70's. We bought ribbon and made all kinds of bows to go on packages. Great scores in that garbage bag in spite of the wading. The carter ink could be used to label a person's clothing by name, and would stand up to washing. Collectible! Fun video as always
I simply LOVE the VINTAGE New Old Stock Christmas Goodies!! What looked liked a "trash" bag held hidden goodies. I am keeping my fingers crossed for the missing boot to show up in another bag!! Thanks Again for Sharing with this Old, x-flea market seller.
Another favorite videos trash bag opening! I remember the old stockings. They held candy. I have one of the small nativity sets. You got some cool finds amongst the junk.
Fun video Rene! I love the Mary Poppin boot! Hope you do find the other in another bag! So cool! I collect vintage Christmas items too! Was excited to see you find some.
