khajuraho temples were in active use through the end of the 12th century. This changed in the 13th century; after the army of Delhi Sultanate, under the command of the Muslim Sultan Qutb-ud-din Aibak, attacked and seized the Chandela kingdom. They destroyed temples as much as they could. You would notice many idols are without their heads. there were once 80 temples but now only 20. Many of the largest ones like Beejaymandal and Ghantai were completely destroyed. The missing statue is Hari Hara statue now in a british museum. India has made many requests to UK to return them but the British refused.
I’m from UK. I think culture is changing. I think it won’t be that long before many things will be returned to the countries they were stolen from. I hope so 🙏
@@davidr7819 I would not say stolen, they were taken by force after the Indian kings lost in the battles with the British Empire. But now Britain is a democracy and so is India, the artifacts should be returned because Indian culture and history is linked with those artifacts. The democratic British government refusing now to give them back seems a bit hypocritical. It is not the age of kingdoms, empires and imperialism, it is the time for democracy.
dog sex with women and guy with horse is depecting the kalayuga that how humanity in future will get darker and darker that's why wife is shocked and hiding covering her eyes. i mean, to be honest very good prediction because it happens now
You are awesome Gabi. Your videos, narration and connecting with the places, culture and people is beautiful, amazing and adorable. Your unearthing and presentation of the places, people and culture is revealing and an amazing discovery ! Love you and your videos ! Great job .. 👍🤗🤗🤗
As a part of conspiracy of the British rule the west was kept totally ignorant about this fact of india nd always presented india as a poor nd dirty country through its biased media thanks a lot social media nd present day govt we r able 2 unravel the hidden rich cultural heritage of india internationally
Hindu temples usually have elaborate carvings outside depicting all aspects of material life which includes sex. This culture never shied away from talking about it until the Church and the European morality was imposed on it. It also depicts stories and sometimes Indian epics like Mahabharata and Ramayana and other Puranas As you walk towards the inner sanctums of the temples, sculptures and artwork gets simpler and simpler depicting your inner journey
We are happy with Christianity and modesty. What they did is vulgar and demonic. The same with the polytheism of Greece and Rome. All perverse. A world without a Christian God is without any boundaries. Humans are animals keeling each other and giving in to the carnal pleasures harming others as well, women, children and animals. Utterly disgusting. The Christianity I refer to is the born again evangelical Christians and not the satanic Vatican which is a golden polished Roman old paganism.
Christianity existed in India even before Khajuraho and other ancient sites came to completion just for your info. Popular belief has always been European infestation and crusade, but the fact is India’s relevance across the ocean, particularly South India to the Persian gulf existed since Biblical times.
Going off the beaten path has great rewards! Your videos are getting better and better. Love traveling with you and your appreciation for the beauty of India.
please have a visit to Sun Temple in Konark Odisha. most of the temple complex have been totally destroyed by foreign invaders but remaining part have more erotic statues than all of the Khajuraho temples combined. the temple also has many beautiful educational sculptures for all ages. there were huge magnets placed in the temple which made main Idol of the Sun deity to float in the air without any support for centuries before they were destroyed by invaders. it is one of the most beautiful architecture.
I had visited the temple in 2019 .I was literally mesmerized by the carvings . Also the road trip was cherry 🍒 on a cake. I traveled from Maharashtra to odisha by train and after that by motorbike. It was truly amazing experience.
Your movies are very inspiring. I love India. I'm waiting for a movie from you about Indian crafts, silver ethnic traditional jewellery, etc. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Lisbon. 🙏👍
Namaste Gabi! Wow! Go with the flow attitude can really bring out such a hidden gems. Never been to these places, thanks man. Awesome trip! Varanasi is AMAZING tough, one of the oldest and holiest cities of a India. I'm sure you'll take a boat 🚣 trip on Ganges....may Lord Shiva bless you. Varanasi is His city after all. Stay safe and enjoy! Once again thanks for sharing. Om shaanti. Cheers from North Germany
This is informative. U are right, its a little bit confusing , it is an eye opener to the world that we have diverse cultures and beliefs. At the end, its respect that bind us together. Great story telling😊
Bro must visit kedarnath and valley of flowers while you in uttrakhand , and also don't forget to go other Himalayan beautiful places like Himachal , Assam , cherapunji (rainiest place of world) , north east India , himalayas , beautiful flairs and fauna and all . There are many places unexplored by foreigners. Much love and support .
Vishnu means preserver of world. The idol u see is painters imagination of how he sees preserver of universe . While creator is called bhramha. And destroyer of world is called shiva. In hinduism whats created, will be destroyed after its cycle is over..to be reborn again..and the cycle continues. The destruction phenomena is therefore called shiva. Rama is revered king of ayodya city in Uttar pradesh. His wife sita was abducted and taken to srilanka. Hanuman (cursed by sage to turn monkey in childhood) helped banished king ram free her from.her.abduction. Hanuman was ram's loyal friend and devotee.
Unbelievable prices for that hotel room. I am just blown away. In the US we pay outrageous amounts. That first hotel would be $125 minimum in the US. The second hotel would be $175 in the US.
The American lifestyle is screwed.. you earn to spend and spend to earn... the cycle never ends... the materialism makes you slog like a rat day in and out...
In about 30 to 40 years India will be up to Western standards and India will become the most visited place on the planet!! India is like another planet.
india will be upto the "viswaguru" standard just like it was in the times of Nalanda University with 30% of world's gdp before arabic jihadis and british invasion ...... jai ma kali 🙏
@@friendlyatheist9589 sadly no politicians wants to tackle that issue. The Muslims are told to have as many babies and likewise for the others, so that their religion will have total control of the country. Sometimes religion can be a curse.
@@Dan-xx5jq If you study the Northern states of UP, Bihar, MP, Rajasthan etc, most of the Hindu families have 6-7 children, esp in the rural areas. Even in cities, 4 kids are normal. So don't blame Muslims alone.
I was there exactly one month ago and took an official guide for the temples. The guide told me that those carvings were mainly for educational purposes which covered topics such as nature, love, life, society and gods (from the lower layer to the upper layer of the carvings).
"Testa, testa" is living rent-free in my head - probably forever 😂This has put such a smile on my face! I'd love to go back and visit some day soon, thank you for the inspiration
wow amazing discovery Orchha is a really jewel in terms of temples and nice hotels , im totally agree with you when you have no plans life bring you nice surprises , maybe you need entire life to discover india , india is really huge country enjoy your trip Gabi :-)
You should have appointed Guide otherwise you cannot come to know true philosophy of life.. It's not only kamasutra temple... We always feel pride for our rich and cultural heritage... This temples were built 1000 years ago .. Try to connect with people diverse culture you will lost here forever...
Temples of khajuraho and other erotic temples was made for saints to meditate, test if they have reached a stage above temptations. To enter Celibacy stage. So sculptors carved erotic imaginations on these meditating temples. People who went in to meditate, if they get influenced by what they saw, meant they are not ready and need to wrk more on self. While people inaffected knew they conquered the vice of lust, temptation and materialism and were ready for celibacy.
Your videos are really good now, I reckon there better then the vlogs getting millions of views atm, soon you will be getting them kinda views 4sure. Keep doing wat your doing mate! Fkn awesome , really enjoying your work ! 🇭🇲🇱🇧🇭🇲
Thanks brother Gabi, without stepping out of my room, I have seen the Taj Mahal, the Kamasutra Temple and also Varanasi. A fantastic Tour of India. Love you
❗️Why these temple has kamasurta carved on walls..🛕 ❓️❓️❓️ Answer is --- The spritiul meaning is - Temple is a place of God and worship...and these kamasutra statues carved on Outer wall of temple Not Inside the temple...means..the outer world is full of lust and kama, when you live in this meterial world you will find lust n sex everywhere..you can not detach youself without inner power. But when you go inside the temple there is no place for kamasutra... here temple means your body and goind inside means- Meditation. When you go inside you will find emptyness first (first portion of temple inside - you will not see any idels, only blank area)...when you go inside more then you will see some pictures or idels of God and godesses but not in kamasurta postion...it means the lust become love when you meditate and understand the meaning of love and divinity.. then the last part of temple is Garbh grah (sanctum sanctorum) - The Pure form of Lord with divinity...there you can emerge yourself and your journey start to infinite..
i am in some of your videos in India, its overwhelming, wonderful, you are so brave and stunning. Namaste, Love India🙏🌸amazing country, some hard travel conditions and powerty to endure
Truly great ones. Just wishing to have slightly more content with the bike travelling on the roads. Thank you Gabi for the wonderful and enjoyable Vlog.
Some historians believe that Khajuraho was created to represent Shiva and Parvati's wedding. The original number of temples of around 80 match the number Gods and Goddesses that were present at the divine wedding. There was a body of water surrounding the temples centuries ago and the entire compound was surrounded by a wall with golden palms bracketing the gateways. It was a grand architectural composition
Amazing video bro! I didn't know about the secret passage to the temple rooftop in Orchha. I have to check it out on my next visit. It's really a fantastic place.
Kama means love. Sutra means rules. Kama sutra book therefore was a guide for lovers how best to please each other with tips and tricks. While yoga was for meditation Ayurveda was national meds and lifestyle to fight against diseases.
Just amazing Gabi, Even I didn't know if these places exist in India, Varanasi is my hometown, this city is around 8000 year old and still living, there are saying that life begins and ends here, do visit "Kashi Vishwanath temple", and do greet people with " Har Har Mahadev" U would be happy to see how people reply, Wishing you happiest Journey, please do take care, wear helmet and dont drive in night for precautions reason.
@@ridewithgabi hey Gabi if you coming to maharastra you should visit Ajanta and Ellora caves its an unesco world heritage site . its the greatest architecture ever built .
Beautiful video, thank you so much! I loved Varanasi and I believe you will too! It vibrates very differently than any other place Ive been to in India! Safest travels, Shanti (Peace).
The Chaturbhuj temple in Orccha is in fact the tallest temple in India at a height of 105 mts tall, almost 40mts taller than the Brihadeshwara temple which stands a height of 66mts. Though it should be considered that the Brihadeshwara teme was constructed in 11th century whereas the Chaturbhuj temple was built in 16th century.

To explore the tradition of Bharath, whole life is not enough. You are such a man as honey bee which flies for sweet from flower to flower to make honey . There are some persons they see only dirt as flies which sits on dirt. May Bhagavan shower blessings on you.
u must visit "Kailasha temple" , "Ajanta Ellora" caves and the ruins of "Hampi" ...... india has 44 world heritage sites and these r few of those sites .
Orcha is 70km from my hometown and is seriously underrated hidden gem. Infact its perhaps only place where lord ram is worshipped in his" king form". Infact he is considered king of orcha and given all the salamis etc... Stoey of his arrival in orcha and then him being established in kitchen of the queen instead of the temple which was made is very very interesting and humbling.
I am from Orchha nice to see you in Orchha yes it is a hidden germ of India even you didn't see many more beautiful palaces in orchha it is very clean and peaceful town
There is core hindu philosophy like : Dharm , artha, kama , moksh: so in order to get moksh one has to understand the beauty of sex or else he will get entangled in pleasure if he doesn't understand the sex and sex is major component of human life so in order to know they built these temples just think how advanced we were back then but due to foriegn invasion they distorted our whole cultural and made us slaves of mere pleasure and not understanding the science behind the pleasure.
Logic of erotic art on the outside of temple is, it shows how the different people deal in their day to day lives and act differently and don’t think more than feeding themselves with food and sex, but once they start moving inside spiritually they leave such things behind and find the ultimate salvation. Thats why inside the temple you don’t see such carvings…these are just outside that means one has to raise above the worldly ties once they enter the temple. That’s unfortunate that most of the foreign visitors misinterpret spiritualism shown in these temples in the absence of a tight guide.

Places in India was this sparsely inhabited only in old hindi film sets of the ninteen sixtees, this looks like the India that was subsequently lost due to the overcrowding. Maybe you were present simply in the right time at the right spots
Those statues actually tell a story if you follow , that person was punished for having unnatural s*x with a horse , its not encouraging people to do that
Fascinating vlog . Thank you so much for sharing. I also very much liked seeing the previous ones . Do you have any plans for visiting Pakistan? Despite its bad reputation and recent floods and troubles, it's still worth seeing at many levels. Do consider please. Many blessings 🙏 🌸 🌸 🌸
Great video and the hotel in orchha was very beautiful with the antique furniture. The Vishnu temple with hidden doors was amazing and the view from that was outstanding. Khajuraho temple was also good and I get to know that it's the world first kamasutra temple. Thnakyou for sharing this hidden temple. Had a great day in India Gabi.
