I don't like super. I don't like any of the new characters or the new forms and the ridiculous jumps in power characters suddenly get because reasons. That being said, I'm content to let the people that like it have their fun. Unfortunately, the DB fandom can be even more toxic than the Naruto fandom and somehow believe that calling people names and screaming like a five year old is somehow gonna prove something. Not all of them are like that, true, and to those mature enough to live and let live, you have my utmost respect. Final battle was cool looking, I'll give it that.

yeah I love the series even super and gt but man ever since really the start gokus been too op and no one else really does anything vs villains until cell..it really began when roshi owned krillin at the first tournmaent and how tien had no chance vs drum aka piccolos child who was much weaker than the main bad guy who tien went to trap...like we cant have tien kill drum?.....why not?....oh so goku can step in save tien even though they should be close in power and kick his eyeballs out to show before the main fight how strong now goku is because we need to hype him up to show his powers off and make his fight with piccolo not seem so so anti climactic...smdh..yajirobe meanwhile a wandering swordsman felt like he could step up to tambourine..smdh so that means a random character is stronger than someone whose trained with one of the best masters one earth since he was a kid and beat goku ....see what i mean?..meanwhile at that point yamcha and krillin had no chance...sure roshi and tien supposedly beat goku but in both cases its more luck than strength ..the shows always been that way outside of gohan and fusions which are their own can of worms same for transformations and secret abilities...speeds always been my main issue with the show...goku only loses when hes hungry or gives up cough like with cell and fat buu ...super tried to fix that a little but its just dumb...everyone whose not a Saiyan got left behind a long time ago and now if your not training and experienced you lose power...wtf is that bs...@@mitchellmcivor7509

i loved it, but i really loved dragon ball z, and have a lot of friends that also loved it and we all talked about each episode each week. the forst two arcs are kinda poop which is a problem BUT if you watch the 2 movies you dont need to watch the first 2 arcs (battle of gods, return of f) and then it gets good. Just dont take it seriously like these hardcore fans like mentioned in this video :)
Pixel Party Pals Well I've seen Battle Of God's (The best DBZ Movie I've Ever seen), and I've seen Dragon Ball Z and it's pretty much the best thing that the Dragon Ball Franchise has given us, but yeah I'll keep what you're saying in mind, I don't have high hopes for it, and at some point I will check it out eventually

What do Power Levels have to do with this video? You mean Power Scaling? Because that's completely different, Power Scaling is done in any fighting series and is just a way of seeing who's stronger. Heck you can argue Harry Potter has Power Scaling, and that's not even a fighting series.
nahte123456 power levels give a sense of the power scale in the dragon ball multiverse. What is meant is there is no real power scaling in dragon ball and the power scale put in place is a to measure a character’s “battle strength” at anytime not their true power. Therefore reading the in between the lines the characters are as powerful as the situation demands and have no set limits aka power levels or the measurement of the power scale is “ bullshit”
No you're just completely misunderstanding. Power Scaling is about following a stories logic, if a story doesn't have power scaling then that means that Manon can kill Beerus right no, for nor reason, and it would make sense. But it doesn't.

No you're missing the point. A Power Scale is not a hard fact, it's a general outline. Let me ask you a very simpe question, could Yamcha beat Goku in a normal sparing match? If you can say "Yes" or "no" you've made the scale. That's it, saying that anyone can beat anyone else is COMPLETELY irrelevant, that has nothing to do with the Scale, of just who's normally stronger so your story can keep it's internal logic.
Thing i liked about super, is that it gave other characters time to shine before going full goku and vegeta. It showed that you could have a tonne of power.... But if someone outskills you under certain circumstances (krillin vs goku, krillin vs gohan under tournament circumstances, roshi vs that bird dude, and krillin and 18 vs that blind fox guy) it's just nice to allow others to have a bit if time in the spotlight.

Frieza and 17 were also putting some work on him before he got his asspull power-up and started fighting back. Jiren wasn't even close to full power by the end of his fight. 2: On top of Goku, 17 and Frieza were 3v1ing Jiren. SSJ Goku didn't beat Jiren. SSJ Goku (only for the last seconds of the fight), Frieza and 17 beat Jiren, and all but 17 had to ring themselves out to get him out with them.
The way I see it, it's because in Blue he's able to get a more accurate read of other people's power level (due to being able to control his ki to a much greater degree than any other form). So by going blue, he was trying to read about where Krillin is in power. It's easier than going regular Super Saiyan because when he goes Super Saiyan, his thirst for battle grows, and it becomes harder to hold back, unlike Blue where he keeps a calm mind.

super logic: roshi is better than yamcha?... krillin and tien are both better options than ssj trunks and goten ..ok then...and majin buu just isn't going cause he is asleep?...if they wanted this to feel nostalgic they should of had vegeta goku gohn buu and freeza on their own side of the ring while having the other weaker characters fight weaker foes on their side and make it like multiple tournaments so tien 18 krillin roshi 17 piccolo yamcha turnks goten hercule even could matter without needing bs powerups or some explanations on how they got stronger...I would of liked that.....
Of course Roshi is a better pick than Yamcha. He's a lot more experienced,has a whole lot of powerful techniques and has probably been training this entire time while Yamcha was just slacking off.
@@Shazam1998 yamcha trained with king kai..what are you talking about?..his power level by the cell saga after 2.5 years of training for the cyborgs is probably close to 2nd form freeza level...roshi was at like 250 at the end of db and thats hundreds of years of training...stop it...they are planets apart in terms of power level...but toriyama made sure roshi could blow up the moon early on and vegeta was strong enough with 1 blast to blow up earth when he first landed back when he had a power level of 16,000 so his power scaling made no sense from jump...roshi also got much stronger between the budokais to match tenshinhan and goku so the fact he blew up the moon during the first budokai after years of not training makes even less sense...gohan being weaker as a high schooler then as a 10 year old made no sense either....hell pikkoro destroyed the moon and it magically came back same for roshi and oh to hell with it..yamcha>roshi is my point...
i respect his video but he still has some points in the grey area or false statements like ritual god is different than super saiyan god rituall god made him trillions to quintillions of times stronger and it goes in the base and you could achieve super saiyan god within that but it has a set multiplier that is anywhere between thousands of times stronger to millions to his base
If the spirit bomb kills evil why does size matter? Why did Goku need all the Earth to give power to kill Buu, why did Frieza survive? Even if DOES kill evil. Size matters Trunks who SOMEHOW uses the spirit bomb with the remnants of a refuge group not even the whole earth something that was needed to kill Kid Buu SOMEHOW could destroy FUSED ZAMASU. You honestly can't defend this sort of stuff man

It's like the guy's stuck in the past and not paying attention to things. Like so much for all the exposition and borderline spoon feeding when it flies over his head because he's using outdated stats. :P
The issue is the Super Saiyan multiplier. Even Level 1 is supposed to be 50 times stronger (and Blue is much larger than that, though not nearly as specific). Its not like Goku wasn't also training for most of those 10 years and 17 would have to be improving at a pace significantly greater than 50 times of Goku in order to catch up, and even that's not taking the Saiyan built in cheat device.
So why didn't he kill Buu during the Buu saga, if training "off and on" for 10 years gets you a power level similar to a super Saiyan god then after training "on and off" for 7 years after the cell saga would give android 17 more than enough power to one shot Majin Buu, why didn't he?

Dragon Ball Super makes mistakes, but GT makes far more notable ones, and far worse mistakes. Not to mention, through and through, it's just boring. You never really get hype during it. The entire first part was way too comedic, and the second part was way too serious. At least Dragon Ball Super can find a middle-point between comedic and serious, letting everyone get a breath of fresh air between serious moments. It brings back an old villain in a good way. In GT, they made Freeza and Cell complete and utter jokes, as if they were never threats to Goku and just no more than Emperor Pilaf. Even if you don't like the way Freeza got strong, in the ToP Arc he's fantastic. Sure, the power scaling of Dragon Ball is very off, but that's a minor thing to think about if you just wanna enjoy a show. And there are far more things GT does wrong. Pan, transformations (not aesthetically, but in means of what the form does), execution, etc etc. Not to mention turning Goku into a kid literally did nothing but drag the show down. It meant NOTHING. The show would only be better if he were still an adult throughout GT. All Goku being a kid does is take you out of the action (not to mention all action in the first part of GT is meaningless, because if Goku would just STOP HOLDING BACK, he'd take out everyone easily). Baby also takes Vegeta out of an entire saga, which is a huge sin as Vegeta is a beloved character...I could honestly go on and on. I'm not saying Super didn't have problems. Zamasu himself became a boring character. Jiren, too, was a boring character (though thanks to Jiren we did get some badass scenes), Kefla screwed the powerscale (though the powerscale was already pretty shit beforehand), Caulifla gave the finger to Super Saiyan (though theories can support her), Beerus became underused, and the list goes on. But looking at the list Super has compared to GT... GT is worse. I'm sorry, but you're just wrong if you think Super is worse. It's not good, but it's not as bad as GT.

Everyone survives....no consequence....no tension....thus was 55 episodes of pointless fan service braindead content Summary......GT was 64 episodes that had 2/3 arc good ideas that where not executed the best....Baby arc and shenron being good ideas which organically connect to the series Super nothing is organic ....things ''just happen'' at best it is a fan service pandering bad fan fiction series... super in summary = 2 rehashed movies.......a convoluted time travel arc with a horrible ending, and 2 tournaments which ultimately were pointless and had ZERO stakes or consequence I think you are just wrong because you are not looking at the whole picture....the universal survival arc alone(55 episodes) is almost as long as GT (64 Episodes) and it ended up being pointless and had no story or strong villains or characters.....Jiren is one of the worst antagonist in the franchise....so basically super leaves us with the trunks arc as a measure against GT and it falls apart ive been watching this franchise since the mid 90s long before toonami came along.....and super is objectively the worst in the franchise.....and ps.....11) gt had far superior music
