If you ever want to think about tooling this up to an injection molded product to sell please get in touch with me, I'd love to help you take it to the next level and tool it up and get it into production. In my day job, I'm a plastics engineer with over 25 years in the molding business. I could see this for multiple roll sizes in the video and for the traditional width. Possible insert mold a small metal cutter or change up the resin it's molded in to improve the cut of the teeth. An industrial sized, reuseable case beyond that painter tape storage box. You seriously might want to think about and investigate getting some patents on the idea and design. This could be a pretty profitable idea, even more so than the under-seat storage box you all did.
Small metal cutter would be great but I need to do a little digging if it can go through airport security in a backpack. Appreciate all of the info. We might need to stay in touch, in making a couple changes and we will see how 2.0 and the full size roll go.
