I absolutely love Gris Charnel, the longevity is nearly a deal breaker but I've never smelt anything like it and it's definitely an amazing introvert scent! thank you for covering this!
Interesting topic, thank you. My personal fragrance collection leans introvert and your assessment here confirms this. I must say, while there are many fragrance reviewers with their own unique "spins", reviews like this one reveal a high level of objective social intelligence. Keep up the good work, you have a good head on your shoulders.
Great video as always Melissa. I definitely expected YSL L'Homme to be on here, but I still agree with all of these picks that I've smelled even Carlisle which I think actually fits perfectly for the confident introvert.
Thanks for this video; counter to a lot of the hyper-masculine marketing around "performance monsters" in fragcom, I just want to smell nice things and maybe have the people who are close to me smell something cozy and clean. As an introvert, I thank you for this video, but also your perspective in general. If you're interested in tea scents like Gris Charnel, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on Ombre des Merveilles by Hermes.
Hey Melissa if you like Carlisle then get Perlador by borouj. I have both and honestly would like to see do a comparison. I have Perlador and get stopped all the time. It’s advertised as Carlisle with a twist but to me it projects a bit bitter. Not as sweet but more woody. And for $53 you can not go wrong.
I'm an introvert, but I think the notion that introverts are shy is just not true. I can socialize with anybody at parties. Literally even not knowing their names at the end of the night when I've been high fiving everyone. It's just their ego that they're not going out of their way to socialize.
