The reason that the narrative is centered around 3 main characters is because unfortunately viewers won't be able to create their own unique main character, like they could if they were playing a Fallout video game. The story structure is meant to be told through the eyes of people from different backgrounds who make different choices. I am pretty excited. I can't wait for a full trailer to drop and show us more!
i didnt even think about that, thats actually pretty brilliant lol. i need the full trailer too i wanna know if ima see deathclaws or super mutants at all😭
People are passionate about Fallout because most of the games are brilliant, and wholly unique open world experiences. 76 was just not the kind of game people wanted. These are single player RPGS, story rich.
That’s what I’m finding out. I’m really excited to start this journey. Thanks for the comment. Follow me on twitch once I get the games I’ll be streaming. I appreciate your comment don’t forget to sub up! 👑
Fallout 76 is awesome but it’s more of a looter shooter. If you like more RPG, maybe FO3 and NV. FO4 is already moving towards FO76. But I still personally recommend FO76. This game will be supported for years to come as there’s bo FO5 in the near future.
You're not going to get any of the references without having played any of the Fallout games (especially Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and Fallout 4...I've played all of these). That part where the turret is shooting and there's a sign "Please remain calm" is so Fallout, I laughed my ass off. Can't wait for season 1 to drop.
Fallout is a retro-sci-fi western horror comedy. it is set in an alternate future where the cold war never ended, micro chips were never invented, and culture just kind of stopped in the 1950's (hence the old music playing and retro tech and posters we see). the stories told are mostly western in tropes and structure, where you often play the role of "the drifter" in westerns who wanders into a town and gets involved with its problems before moving on. If you've seen Mad Max, then that is the general gist. Max kind of just wanders into a town, they have some problems that he kind of just gets roped into, and then leaves. thats pretty much how the game's quests are structured as you wander trying to find out information about an item/person you're looking for. the horror/comedy comes from amount of horrifying monsters that have mutated due to the radiation and how humanity has reacted to everything. overall, humans have largely clung onto the past, even when everything around them is destroyed. a good example is a gang in New Vegas who find an Elvis Presley impersonator school. they have no idea who "The King" was or what he did. all they know is that the place was dedicated for people to act like him. so, they just continue that tradition and all dress like and talk like Elvis. a lot of the humor is stuff like this juxtaposed to a horrific landscape. Vault Dwellers exemplify this as they are often naïve to the horrors outside their vaults. they are somewhat resented by those outside for mostly escaping the horrors they face daily. in Fallout 3 specifically you can find skeletons of people trying to get in, presumably from 200 years ago as the bombs fell. the "red skull" guy is a mutated human called a ghoul. radiation works weird in the Fallout universe, and is just a way to justify monsters and things mutating and doesn't actually work like real radiation which would just kill everything. so ghouls are humans exposed to intense radiations from the bombs and ended up not dying, just losing a lot of their skin. most are actually survivors from the Great War, which in the TV show would be 220 years ago. as far as anyone can tell, ghouls are immortal. it is often fun finding and talking to them in the games as they have had a few lifetimes worth of experience. often they're great shots, know a lot about old world machinery, and decent nurses or doctors as they've had the time to learn all these skills. some of the best scientists, doctors, or sharp shooters are ghouls as they've now had centuries to refine these skills. that said they are also targets of racism and hate due to how they look, and people confusing them with feral ghouls, which are essentially zombies.
I didn't take it so much as culture stopping in the '50s. My interpretation was it was the future as someone in the 1950's would have IMAGINED it, sort of like how steampunk would be how someone in the late 1800's would have imagined the future.
yeah it's can be a survival game if you want it to since it's mostly been open world. the guy who looks like red skull is known as a ghoul. these are humans who survived the nuclear holocaust who survived but got infected with radiation. there are also ferral gouls who have lost their minds so to speak and act more like mindless zombies. this is also why the surviving creatures are enlarged and have transformed in to mutant like creatures. there's a lot of gore in the game and dark humor.
I’ve watched so many people play 76 and till this day I’ve never seen any of that. 😂😂😂 Thanks for the info if you don’t mind my twitch link is in my description I’d love for you to chill with me while I get my feet wet once I download some of these games. I appreciate the comment don’t forget to sub up. 🔥💪
Im 30 i played fallout 3,fallout new vegas, fallout 4, but yes new vegas is the best, also i hope ncr show up in this series, play new vegas to understand they ncr vrs brotherhood of steel 😂 great reaction
@@QChalla It’s fallout 4 introduced and put allot of focus on settlement building, the earlier games didn’t have that. Fallout 3 had a huge map with allot of places to explore and things to do, but that game had a flawed FPS combat system. fallout New Vegas had a smaller map and used the same fallout 3 engine, but Obsidian made a few improvements like adding Gun sights. The reason New Vegas gets allot of love, is because obsidian put allot more focus on Role playing elements and gave players multiple story paths, it introduced the faction system which made the game highly replayable.
@Hoodie82Cue I don't have twitch lol but they are great videos on youtube they explain the fractions, from the beginning, fallout 1 on PC, all the way to fallout 4 and also the in between titles or dlcs, all mostly PC games from the 90's until u get to fallout 3, or 4 or new vegas, them 3 came out on console and PC
@Hoodie82Cue The games are set after a nuclear war in 2077, i would avoid fallout 76, I would play: Fallout 1- set in 2161 Fallout 2- set in 2242 Fallout 3- set in 2277 Fallout new vegas- set in 2281 And fallout 4- set 2287 The show is set in 2296 for context.
@@Ethan-hx8sr I’m gonna look these games up I know 76 was bad that’s what made me not look into the others. I stream on twitch join me. My link is in my description.
Red Skull is called a Ghoul. Some are no better than zombies. Others still people inside and yes that's how it be in the game. People get pooped like that when you have the Bloody Mess Perk. The suit is called Power Armor and they are rare to survive the war and yes there are people in them. Yau Guai (Bear) are no joke
Fallout is an alternate history where America hasn't moved on past the 1950s, and you play as a survivor in an America devistated by nuclear war 200 years before the games events. Each fallout game has there own protagonist that you play as in a different part of America. Fallout 1 and 2 are in California. Fallout 3 is in DC Fallout: new Vegas is obvious lol and arguably the best fallout game in the franchise 👍I recommend you try that one. Fallout 4 takes place in Boston Massachusetts. And fallout 76 which is a prequel to all the fallout games which takes place in west Virginia and it's also an online game aswell. Also the show takes place in different parts of America and we will be following different main characters that will eventually meet up. but as far as I know it starts off in California 👍also it's canon and the show is set 9 years after the events of fallout 4. totally new characters and totally new story 👌
@@matthewflores4183 Thank you . I will definitely check that Vegas out. My girlfriend is from Wv so that sounds like it could be fun. So that red skull guy isn’t a original character… he still looks interesting 👀.
@@QChalla Yeah the Red Skull looking guy is a Ghoul in fallout, theyre hyper-radiated people that survived the bombs but didnt quite die and as far as I know, essentially immortal (to any natural means of dying).
Bro you don't have to say you don't know about the games for that thumbnail reaction. Those of us that played them religiously also don't know WTH that is. Lol
Naw that tea is 100 percent how I felt when I seen that finger monster! Like really nobody has told me WTH that is!😂😂😂 thanks for the comment. Don’t forget to sub up . I’ll be playing the first game on twitch tonight.
