I'm a 64 year old hard ass who has been playing Fallout for 26 years, with several thousands of in game hours. This teaser trailer had me in tears before it ended. Big thumbs up.
Yes, i've been hook on the franchise since the very first original isometric Fallout came out in '96! I even played Tactics (though remember well not liking it too much, unlike first two, who i was a huge fan of at the time...), but my favorite over the years is New Vegas, hands down!
I was playing original Fallout with my father though, since i was only 9 and a lot of mechanics seemed too complicated in order to learn alone or getting into...my father is the reason i got into it, since he is the og gamer (was a fan of video games since early 80s with all the arcade machine and early 6-8 bit consoles and stuff...), so by the time even og Fallout was released he was already a veteran! He showed me everything there is to know and learn in og Fallout and i just went with the flow and that got me into it eventually! Was kinda hard to get used to the slow paced gamplay because of tactical turn based gameplay, but I developed a knack for it over time, thanks to my father, who showed me some tricks and taught me some stuff on how to get into it, so i did eventually and i'm proud of it!
I appreciate the love! I will be glued to my couch (reaction chair) when this thing comes out! Now I just need some fallout merch and accessories! -Adison
Honestly man I think this looks perfect. Like setting and atmosphere is PERFECT. I love how much junk and trash are lying around the settlements, it really looks like Fallout. Like you could go to any of these scenes and start scavenging. PERFECT.
Finally, someone who had the same reaction that I did to this magnificent trailer. I have been waiting years to see a live action adaptation to the Fallout universe and this series is lookin mighty tasting! You sir have received a new subscriber keep up the great content.
So many feelings! I hope that they follow all 3 characters (the ghoul, vault dweller, and the scribe) 1st season. Then every season they can repeat the pattern and follow different characters... maybe with characters from previous seasons making appearances?!?
Fast delivery is a joke, because it's an Amazon studio. I believe there is a different video that says "Free 2-Day Shipping*" instead of Fast Delivery. I'm hyped for the show, look forward to your reactions!
The first thing I did was rewatch a dozen times. I only paused between watches (and screaming) to send it to you. They changed the video before you watched it. For me it said “From the producer of The Boys and 2-Day Shipping”. I don’t know why they changed it to “Fast Delivery”. It doesn’t deliver the joke nearly as well. It’s set 9 years after Fallout 4 in Los Angeles. The Companions (according to the official Instagram) are “The Ghoul”, Maximus (a Brotherhood Squire), and the dog (assuming that it’s “Dogmeat”).
It's interesting that your trailer said "Fast Delivery" while mine said "2-day shipping" its just a reference to Amazon, who produced the show and their fast delivery times
Lol best reaction to this trailer I've so far I kind of said the same thing when I saw the trailer I don't want to see anything else until the show comes out I am sold
Anyone that shares the same amount of excitement for this upcoming show that I have deserves a sub! Just the attention to detail they have for everything is very promising - I don't want to get my expectations too high but man it does look great! Can't wait!
I CANNOT wait for this series to come out and i cant wait to watch you reactions! Side note, im pretty new to your channel, but im a fan and subscriber now. Was wondering if theres a reason you havent finished The Last of Us or if im just missing them
There’s a bunch of familiar names in the cast. The woman playing Lucy is Ella Purnell. I highly recommend you check out her IMDb. She’s been in lots of great productions (including Yellow Jackets). Xelia, that played the Suldam Renna in The Wheel of Time, is also in it, but we don’t know what role yet.
One of the guys that leaked stuff about games and stuff says that it's supposed to be 15 years after Fallout 4. Not sure how true that is. But I do know that Bethesda and Todd Howard and all the producers that do the show say that it is Canon to the storyline.
Correction on the creators, the creators aren’t the people who did the Boys. It’s the studio that did the Boys aka Amazon. Weird you got “fast delivery” because other videos got “2 day free shipping” which is a joke since Amazon is a delivery service company. The creators of this show are Jonathan Nolan (Chris Nolan’s brother who cowrote most of his successful movies) and Lisa Joy who both last did the show Westworld. One of the other creators is Geneva Robertson who was the main writer for the Tomb Raider movie which admittedly could’ve been better. Yes Lucy is played by Ella Purnell from Yellowjackets. Hope she gets to have a girlfriend on this show because Yellowjackets did her dirty there. Would be funny if she ends up with a girlfriend, that she tries to find her a nice dress which is a mission in New Vegas. I’m also curious if we’re going to get scenes or at least a montage of Lucy trying to build a settlement. I figure a scene like that would be cool to watch. Also speaking of music, I would absolute go crazy if they sneak in the song "little lies" somewhere in the show.
this is my favorite game series of all time. i was really skeptical about it but the teaser looks so good, they really captured a lot of the elements that make fallout, fallout. as a fan for +10 yrs i have never been more excited about anything as much as this. god is good my brother u are right!!
NICE!! Wonder if the show will have the "Wild Wasteland" perk??? LOL!!! And seeing that some of the scenery is in California, I am willing to bet we will see the NCR. I too wanna see a Deathclaw. I remember playing New Vegas and I got on the strip by hauling ass all the way from Goodsprings across the desert to McCarran International Airport, while being chased by a pack of Deathclaws. I managed to outrun them and then snuck onto the elevated train and rode it straight onto the strip while Enclave soldiers were shooting at me, LOL!!!!
Lost's Ben limus is back being creepy too. Walter Groggins aka Uncle Baby Billy from The Righteous Gemstones is the Ghoul, and one guy from Severance. I've been playing Fallout 76 and had played the earlier games. They better have someone say, "Another Settlement Needs Your Help" lol.
Ben Limus was amazing in lost and Walton goggins in Django and justified are some of the best acting. These actors and studio of the boys and Nolan’s mind twisting plots are gonna make this show amazing
Im so hyped for the show i really do hope it has really good writing. And after the bad taste that fallout 76 left in many peoples mouths im hoping for a revival 💙💛💙💛
@wr5488 Well, from what I've seen about the airship in the show is not the Prydwen. It's named something that my brain wants to say starts with a "C" but I can't remember what it is actually called off the top of my head.
Todd said he didn't want to just retell past stories from the games, so they're approaching this basically as if it was Fallout 5 (a brand new story and characters)
It looks great. I wonder what the central "goal" is going to be that they can stretch. My only regret about not getting an Xbox is losing the Fallout series on PS5.
I hope that we get to see some NCR stuff since this is going to be taking place in California 15 years after the events of new vegas if my math is right
We've seen references in set photos. My guess is that they're the big bad, so we probably won't see them until the final trailer, if at all, before the show drops.
I'm betting the redneck walking out of the farm house will be one. He had the walk and the diaper. But, I think it's a set up for the future. He looks like he's in the early stages of the FEV and his skin hasn't turned green yet.
@@edn ahhh I totally missed that! I gotta catch up on that content. Well Juju is good. If you want a slightly shorter series Chainsaw Man is 12 episodes and sort of a more mature kinda show where all the typical anime tropes don't necessarily play out. And I always recommend Subs over Dubs, but to each their own!
I´m very hyped about it, just not very happy with the Boys ppl behind it. I didn´t watch the Boys due to the glorified violence. Same with stuff like Game of Thrones. I watch Fallout because of the atmosphere, setting and (hopefully) good story. I do not need a meatgrinder orgy. Fingers crossed it doesn't end up like that....
