been trying to end it on a good note for 5 years now.

Due to the low pen of scav weapons/ammo, it's usually a bad idea to try and backstab a geared player like this. Usually the free loot you get from Fence after extracting is reward enough.

The truth is, that’s the beauty of this game in every aspect. The stressful truce, the feeling of possible betrayal, and the fact that to have such a truce you HAVE to let them have the first shot for fear of being trigger happy and starting a fight. While it’s stress inducing and terrifying, it’s also one of the most exciting and impactful parts of Tarkov. The adrenaline fueled gunfights, the tense moments of peace, the quiet paranoia, and the huge wins and losses make Tarkov what it is.

im always the guy saying in discord "boys if he makes a move im shooting him right in the face" but so far, 3/3 on woods extracts with a scav. The betrayals are the worst. You know those guys have no honor.

The one and only time that I tried cooperating with a PMC as a scav for the extract in reserve, I paired with the PMC for at least 10 minutes, he protected me from another PMC and made me have his loot, then he covered me when I went to loot the airdrop, and finally we went extracting. When there was 2 seconds left in the timer he betrayed me and killed me. For me the PMC scav bromance is a lie, never again.

The bad outweighs the good really, but damn no one would care if Tarkov didn't have such amazing potential. In truth most of the hardwork has been done but stupid decisions from the devs undermine their own hard work and the good design choices they have made. Such a shame to see and utterly bizzare

tarkov is a cool idea but it never felt more like a waste of time than it does now for me. I played it since 12.12 and I agree the recoil changes back then were shit but at least you had the chance to see people 🥲

@@sumdumguiii This is what I mean the game is in an unplayable state, it's emberassly broken, shit like this wouldn't fly anywhere else but only in Tarkov we got people like you who have somehow convinced themselves that broken audio and invisible enemies are somehow "hardcore".

It's not unplayable, because I'm playing several hours a night and generally enjoying myself, and I play in an active discord with lots of active players. So, nah, it's not unplayable. If you're not having fun, then just... move on. It's that simple.

Twice yesterday I needed the Starter Gunsmith weapon MP133, got it on my Scav both times, only to have PMCs fake being friendly & kill me despite me telling them in Comms I just wanna get out for this basic starter task. There's some great people in the Tarkoverse & theres also some people I wouldn't shed one tear for if I watched them get ripped apart by Sharks. lol

Had a thick boy come stomping up to me as I was looting a airdrop and offered to take the co op on interchange, guys ended up giving me a sweet r700 and a gpu before we left. Totally the nicest PMC i've come across,.

The worst part is that it's not a new bug, we've gotten a version of it every other wipe since like .8. I do think it's more prevalent than ever right now though.

​@Smokeyd At least if they're invincible you can still see and hear them, and therefore run away or hide. There's no chance of survival with an invisible, silent player hunting you.

@@mjay6245 The invincible bug didnt display a sign over their heads letting you know they cant die lol! Not to mention you could do it on demand!! And they were in every raid... You could do a thousand raids and not be invis once and you werent seeing invis players every raid

@@k0deathk0 I use to play spt, people play it cause it’s fun and the atmosphere of the game itself is one of a kind. When I was new the anxiety just ruined the fun aspect entirely. But you eventually get bored and need the pvp aspect.

​@@Juhdefr This last wipe load times on raids are as low as 1-4 minutes for me. Obvs if you get someone on a HDD 7 years old you gotta wait longer but they really improved load times this wipe. All we need is access to stash while loading now. Unfortunately the game is so broken and full of cheaters (at least 1 hacker in 60% of raids, see goat's video) that I quit till its better.

You can learn to play using all the flaws and bugs and broken balance and design to your advantage but you're not really getting "good" are you? You're changing the way you play to be stupid and annoying in order to play a stupid and annoying game. Most fights are determined by random luck in tarkov, random ai bugs, de sync, server issues, spawning in the wrong/right place, random recoil patterns, do you randomly come across a solo timmy or a 4 man squad of no lifers. These things determine most tarkov gunfights not skill

I think this could work by increasing NPC numbers massively. Things like patroling UN with heavy weapons that can only be come over with 8+ PMCs maybe.

​@@roflKartofflel this would be cool if they made it so the patrols rotated across maps or some kind of dynamic thing. That way pvp would still exist on the other maps. I feel like switching to coop being meta all the time would get old quick and could really mess up tarkov.

Fence literally rewards players for using that extract. Using VOIP I am finding more players are friendly than I expected.

I can't wait for Stalker 2, i really hope it will keep the atmosphere from the old games. I'm worried it might become a bit more arcadey. The last trailer showed a lot of action

@@chrisgos I'm playing through Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl, with only the "starter kit" mod that changes some textures and modernized gun looks, and idk man... It's pretty pumped full of action.. 14 military just rushed me while leaving the lab and I was cornered just relying on 1 tap to find breathing room. Still can't believe how atmospheric this game holds up. Was relying on the lightning during a storm to see bandits at a distance to snipe.. For 2007 game, that's an amazing experience no game has been able to recreate. I'm sure we will see a master difficulty with little to no hud and mods that will take it to the next level shortly after release. Hopefully they studied Stalker Anomaly and what ppl love about it, but yeah, i really want a realistic sim like experience.

​@@heavyq Most fun I have is late wipe night raids on interchange or customs on dead servers.. But after they grouped multiple servers into "NA east" for example that's way harder to do now.

@@KevBacon6 not that I've seen. As long as you install it properly there shouldn't be any risk. I played regular Tarkov last night with no issues.
