Not every adventure is meant to be, especially if it seriously degrades your health. You made the right decision and it's nice that even while struggling there you had such a loving attitude to it all!
Her attitude is seriously like medicine to my soul! I have so many......not like Stephi... people in my life (my only normal family member died and the rest are Narcissistic Sociopaths, which I have kept most of them out of my life, except for my mom. Still unhealthy for me, but it’s hard when you’re alone) and watching her videos is literally how I pull myself back to a serene peace. She shows a lot of strength, patience, and kindness! I was worried for her health and safety though, and I hope she is getting well in the hospital!
@@TheKatarinaGiselle if everyone you meet or have in your life seems a certain way to you , it may really help to consider looking within for the issues and your upset.
@@anniedetroit7525 Yeah a good rule when travelling abroad: Watch your language, what ever it is :) I'm from Finland, I like to travel a lot, it's interesting to observe tourists from different cultures. These kind of 'cultural collisions' do happen, though it's rare anyone intentionally behaves disrespectfully.

Totally off subject, I love Finland and it's people (and Flying Finns, which is a cocktail 😉.) I lived in Denmark in my younger years, and vacationed in Finland. Such fun, generous people! When I dined alone in restaurants I was very often invited to join groups of people so I wouldn't have to eat alone, and when people found that I was traveling alone I was often invited to visit people in their homes, and often invited to save hostel/hotel expenses by being offered the sofa or guest room. I never felt intimidated or scared, no one ever tried to take any sort of advantage of me, and many years later, I still hear from my Finnish "family. " Not to mention the beautiful scenery, and the beautiful people. As an (American born) Dane, I had occasionally heard people say Danes, in general, were physically beautiful people, but the Finns have us beat,hands down. Also, they are so accepting. I am mildly disabled , ( I walk with a limp. Since I was traveling alone, with a backpack, clearly it didn't impair me that much) and people are often afraid to approach me because of... I'm not sure, but I am sure they had valid concerns, but in Finland, (and really the Baltic region in general) the disabled are treated like the person they are, not like a disability with a heartbeat. ) I will always be grateful to the lovely people I met, because they confirmed for me that I was still likable and a valid person to befriend. So, I will thank you as a representative of all the lovely people I met. 🙂❤🌻
@@anniedetroit7525 Great hear you had a good time in Finland! Finns tend to be a little introvert, it may take some time to 'melt the ice' but you often hear the visitors have been treaten well. The atmosphere of mutual trust is one of the postive sides of Finland, luckily a lot of that is still left, kids walk to school by themselves and so. I admire Danes, they are a succesull small nation, with a healthy self-esteem. I have some family in Canada and I have visited US a couple of times. I love the multicultural atmosphere and how friendly and talkative people are there. P.S I corrected my second reply, perhaps that caused the problem. I like Thailand a lot, I have often felt I'm a clumsy European there, among the super polite locals :)

Why I don't know every foreigners visit Delhi and Mumbai. India have one of the best countryside in the world like ladakh pangong lake north east India south India east India north most India etc
Exactly! I am an Indian, and I myself won't suggest visiting Delhi, Mumbai or any crowded cities. Please travel north East India for it's true beauty and essence.
Yeah Stephi I really suggest either leaving Delhi or at least wearing some face protection to stop some of the pollution/ dust ect entering your lungs. I got incredibly sick both times I was in Delhi, similar to the coughing you experienced and I rarely get sick! Best of luck on your journey but health should always be your priority ✌️

@hanselxy I blame Dakota he's been to India n knows of stephis health...he knows how shitty Delhi is compared to all these other places in India that are clean serene n spiritual...he shouldn't have stayed in Delhi more than a day after stephi arrived even if she was planning on staying longer...there's nothing positive in Delhi worth all the possible negatives all over n around that city...

What makes this any different than the travel channel taking their cameras and putting it in peoples faces? You guys need to calm down I really don’t think she meant to disrespect anyone’s religion or way of life. She just wants to share her experience which wasn’t much of a good one because of her being sick.

How you approach people, how you expose them, what you show and what you don't show. In my eyes, being a 'vlogger' creates this responsibility. Even more in a place like India.

annika weber I’m just gonna day this and it’s no disrespect to anyone in this world. We can’t pretend like people don’t live their lives like this. What was she suppose to do make people seem happy and at ease with themselves? Being a blogger is about showing your experiences not sugar coating things. I think something like this can show other people that these people don’t have the luxury’s we do and that maybe we should rise up and do something to help those in need. I don’t think she did any of this is disrespect and have any of you guys even watched her videos because your acting like she just went here for nothing. @Crazy Jesse yes respect their misogyny, its their area their rules, you are nothing more than a tourist, it made me wrong but its not our place to judge, its ok dakota made a mistake everytime hes went there it was by himself not with girls, hes not use to having to dress different too much
if the initial mistake weren't bad enough, then the other woman friend made jokes about it after. a bit of a let down that you kept that part in the video.
Has Dakota been to that area before? If so, he should've known better than to bring you girls there unprepared! Thanks for doing these raw India vlogs Steph. I always thought I needed to visit India but these have shown me I do not. The noise, the groundhog day for those poor begging children. I would not cope in India. You've made me thankful for what I and my children have in life x
allpicturenosound she’s in Delhi. The most polluted and dangerous city in India. The south is very different, and the Himalayas is awesome. It’s a huge country. Kerala is lovely for families. And great for surfing.
It leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to cleanliness, between the air pollution, rats running around the streets, and very suspect sanitation, I personally wouldn't go there.

India is great, best lessons of non judgement :) just trust and flow with whatever comes. My first time was when i was 18 year old boy and i went back at 28 two years ago now. Enjoy and feel the spirit Stephi, wish you and your friends the best from the heart.

Hi Stephi, I travel to India frequently because my boyfriend was born there and currently lives in Delhi. I've gotten sick every time I've been there due to poor air quality, even though my lungs are generally healthy. I can't imagine how it must have affected you. Hope you'll recover soon. Love💕

As someone with a chronic illness, I can relate to your passion. Hearing that others should’ve “taken better care of you,” is meant with compassion but sometimes it’s nice to be treated like an autonomous adult who can care for themselves. Sure, be as safe as possible but when some of us are more aware of our mortality all the precautions can seem to dull our time in this life.
India already seemed and bit scary and watching your vlogs sort of proves that for me. I would love to travel but I dont think India would be a place I would want to visit. Stay safe girl!
Ha ha ha why do foreigners visit only Delhi and Mumbai ? Mate India is very safe just go to south India ; east India ; north east India ; northern most India where himalayan mountains are present. Don't travel to up and Delhi not very safe

If you have the funds for it, go visit the Alps. Switzerland, Austria. My boyfriend and I have recently been to Styria (Hohentauern, Trieben) and it is beautiful and I think it would do wonders for your health. The air is so clean up there, it's amazing!
Stephi, you should check out southern Missouri/northern Arkansas....i know it doesn't sound like anytbing special, but it's seriously beautiful and there are all these springfed, Crystal clear rivers that are ICE COLD even in the hottest part of the summer...check out Shannon county in Missouri....it's a really cool, laid back, nature centered sort of trip and you don't have to travel out of the country....they also used to have a place called Camp Zoe back in the day which was a hippie type festival, but now they call it something else and I can't remember what....?? Either way, love you and hope you're feeling better soon....❤❤❤
