I'm just discovering your channel and you're an amazing storyteller! I'm a 32 Congolese woman born and raised in France, came back to Paris after 5 years in Canada, still single and I sometimes feel the same. To me, it's all about trusting God and the process, learning about me and life and still keep life goals too. A good friend recently told me: "sometimes it's okay not to know what you're doing, you cannot always be in control, let God surprise you and live"❤

Here's a secret I've learnt at 32; we are all freestyling this life thing! 😂 I've always done the right thing. Worked hard, been responsible, taken care of my family. I'm tired now. I yearn for adventure. I want to get lost because in all that confusion is where you discover and create your truest self. You're not alone, mama. ❤

I know this video is old but I feel the same way. I got a film studies degree and set to TEFL in korea as well. The people in your life try to force you into some boxes, society tries to force you in a box, and i made a promise to myself to not be boxed in. Life doesn't have to be some structured path, that's just we as a society have set as the standard. Life should be about exploring and sharing, communicating with others. Yet a system was put in place to drain as much as possible of people and society reinforces those standards. I still fight this pressure but this video reminded me...I really needed it, so thank you. Most people have to work after retirement anyways in this economy so don't worry about some long term career. Try to make investments over time so that you will have passive income in the future. Don't worry about not having a solid career. Life can be an amalgamation of experiences. It can be a mix of structure and spontaneity, it doesn't have to be all structure. Don't let anyone take that feeling from you, it's the path less traveled and a path criticized but it's a path of happiness and one you chose for yourself. You should watch the drama "It's Okay to not be Okay", it's my favorite drama ever and it changed my life. (Some people like "Because this is my first life" too but I didnt like the ending). But yeah that first drama is what made me change my mindset on life...and to remember to keep the courage to find happiness for myself.

I feel like we should all just agree to stop asking "where do you see yourself in 5/10 years?"....The truth is when we are kids it's so much easier to answer because we have that naive innocence. However, as we get older real life isn't the fantasy we imagined and it can be a struggle. I know personally I found feeling lost and not having purpose made we unstable and anxious. Now though, I've found a few things I enjoy, I don't necessarily have a solid plan. However, I am happy that I am doing what I enjoy. And that is all I am trying to focus on. I want be open to see where life takes me if I live sincerely. I have no clue what the future holds, and it is scary. But, I will be present for the journey. ✨

At first, I was sympathetic to this woman, but I have become RESENTFUL towards her. I now see her as way more fortunate than many other people, especially black women. This woman is light-skinned black, she is pretty, intelligent, and she is tall. Among other things, I have always craved to be TALL, knowing what a massive difference it would have made to my life. There's things this woman can do or get that I can never do or get. Therefore, I do not have compassion for her any longer. She is too fortunate for that. Unsubscribed.
