Finding someone who actually has 4c hair like mine on youtube was hard. Your video was very helpful since I am suffering from heat damage and needed some guidance :(. Try to consume more seeds. For example, chia seeds, flax seeds, and hemp seeds. If you grind it and put it in your smoothies, your body consumes it better than if they're raw. It helps thicken up your hair.
After 25 years of fighting it, I've only now come to terms with the fact that I have thin hair. I love watching 4C hair youtubers but I wish there were more with fine hair. I thought I was alone in the struggle
Depends on hair type, have friends with straight /slightly wavy hair that gets super oily and they need to wash everyday or at least every other day...but yeah curly hair it's going to be even more of a headache ...and natural hair depends on what kind of hair...4c have fun 2b not nearly as difficult
@@hyosomoo1437 Neither would I, it would be so easy to deal with. I've seen friends with straight hair literally comb through their hair in about a minute. I was shook. And mine took at least an hour at it's longest cuz it was amazing how tangled it got even with conditioner and water weighing it down. And it was less than half their length 😔
I think I found someone who's literally just like me and I only needed to watch 30 seconds. I completely felt that comment when they said they identified with your video "I'm not black enough".
Rice water works amazing for me! I lost my hair (it was several inches past my shoulder down to my chest at the time) last year due to a very bad color job! It all fell out :( however, I have used the fermented rice water everyday for about six months and it’s gone from about one inch to just above my shoulders! Give it a try!
@@Nico.Robin7 you just soak water in some rice (after cleaning the rice) for 6+ hours. Then you can drain the rice and put it in a bottle and apply it to your hair in the shower. 1-2 times a month.
@@Nico.Robin7 yeah I think it works tbh. My hair became fuller. The water does have a funny smell but nothing crazy. I’d suggest getting a spray bottle for easier appliance. Have a great one.
My favorite videos of yours are the surviving your 20's vids. They are so real and very relatable and make me feel like I'm not alone in what i'm experiencing and feeling. Especially the video where you talk about sitting in your sadness and feelings vs. dwelling. Those vids are so helpful! They've definitely saved me a few times, so thank you, and I love you!!!
I like your depression video the most. I love it because you have a support llama and you have an amazing way to describe the feeling of being depressed. I would also consider it sinking. It’s not as if you hate yourself but more so just by yourself at that particular point in time and it’s not bad. It’s just something you have to learn to be aware of and what triggers it. The "Not Today Depression" video is one of my favorites. I like how honest you are about depression while also having a calm, gentle voice. It sounds like a friend is talking to me. I also loved the message about in order to get out of depression, you have to sit in it for a bit and that it's okay to be sad. I've been going through a tough time lately and since I watched that video I've been reminding myself of those things. You have reminded me that it's okay to just have emotions and feel how I feel.
My favorite video of yours, would definitely have to be the “surviving my 20’s” segment, even though im 18 it gave me really great advice on what i could expect in years to come and how i can handle it, being the overly sensitive person i am 🤣I really appreciated your transparency and keep up the good work ❤️
My favourite was the your 20s aren’t a joke. It was extremely as I’m about to turn 20 in less than a year and had been feeling pressures around me to grow up faster, be more mature, plan out my future, and take on a load of responsibilities all at once. It helped me remember that I’m not alone in feeling that way and it’s okay to be scared and not feel ready. Thank you so much, your video do help ♥️

My favorite video of yours was "Am I Alone" where you talk about not making mistakes, because I am the exact opposite kinda. Being a 1st gen Nigerian-American I watched my parents make SO MANY mistakes in Finances, Relationships and other things. Watching your video gave me a greater perspective of just how lucky I was though I didn't always feel it. Having such an intense look at mistakes and how to amend them has really aided me. As I head out to my first year of college I'm so greatful because I know what NOT to do but also what to do better. The video just gave me a ton of perspective frankly 😊
i think that this is my favourite video of you because it shows your dedication to improving yourself and even though there were a few bumps in the way ( literally and figuratively ;) ) you still kept going with it and it was nice to see your face light up when you saw growth and the look of determination when you didnt and it has inspired me to get my own little mane in check

I'm one of your french fans 😝 thanks for this video 😂😂 I've also got 4C hair (really thick, black with really tight curls) but after more than 10 years of chemical treatments (perm, curl, etc...), I finally back with my natural hair (it's been four years now). It's hard but not impossible to make them grown in the right way!! So proud of my little crown.

Ok. I have two favorite videos from you actually, if that's okay. The first one is your skit for wash day. I have the same problems. Itchy scalp, dry hair, it's horrifying, and funny. It takes up to an hour just to wash my hair, which is also 4c (i have decided to go natural for college), then i have to put bantu knots and dry it, it takes forever. Your skit was just extremely relatable, and hilarious. The second one was "I escaped isolation." Although it was kind of sad, it made me realize that I can't put myself into a situation where I can't talk to someone. Again, I will be a freshman in college and I need to have people around me and not 'isolate' myself. It won't be good in the long run. I love your videos, and I can't wait for more natural hair videos!
My favorite video is the post grad video. I graduated a year ago today and i have been in such a disastrous place and had many breakdowns. Watching surviving your 20s helped but post grad really helped. Honestly, you’re one of the best youtubers i watched and i will always watch!

I really enjoyed your changing personalities with your hair video because not only do you show some pretty awesome hairstyles (our hair is very similar, so it’s like fantastic), but your acting capabilities seriously boggle my mind. How you’re so easily able to switch and translate that through body language and facials is something not even some famous actors can do. ☺️
On another video for the invert method the lady said to do it 7 days out of the week with oil because if you do it everyday your hair will get used to it and you will not see the results... but you just proved it wrong. I am so glad I decided to watch this again wow bad information can just ruin things sometimes.
