I wasn't planning on sharing about this time in my life because I haven't really been proud of it, or myself over the past 10 years. I was ashamed for several reasons, but the universe keeps pushing me to be open about the things that I fear talking about as a form of healing. I just felt pushed to share more about my struggles with depression, especially in my earlier years when I was just trying to learn what steps to take next. My hope was just that this more serious reflection of my struggles could bring a little more love and compassion to your life when you reflect upon the past too.
As always, I will continue to remind you that if you are struggling, please continue because your story is far from over.
